Welcome to Fallout Nukaloha, a fallout inspired quest set 250-ish years after the Great War in a post-post-apocalyptic Hawaii.

Surf-Rock, radioactive pirates, ghoulish hula dancers, mutated sharks, and all kinds of freaky shit wait for you here!

And now, let's begin:
>>
> Kunuiakea hasn't given you his approval, respect his privileges and leave that burning corpse for his own consumption.

You want to eat, you need to eat, but you cannot eat and you won't eat. In front of you lies a dead man strapped to a makeshift electric chair. He wasn't merely electrocuted to death, such was the power that was applied to his body that he ended bursting into flames and being cooked from inside out.

Blood falls from your nose, ears and eyes. You too were subjected to electric torture, but unlike him you managed to survive it. You are enduring Kunuiakea's Blood Games, several deadly trials that will decide if you and other many aspirant champions are worthy of becoming Super-Mutants like him.

So far you have been almost nuked, burned alive, brutally beaten, hanged by the neck and lastly electrocuted, and you aren't even done yet.

Fortunately you came prepared. Inside of your body there's a Phoenix Monocyte Breeder implant, the miracle machine is already accelerating your healing and closing every wound that the electrical torture had inflicted upon you, but you are still badly wounded. Eating would further help you recovery, but there's nothing around to eat, except the corpses of the deceased aspirants that lie around.

Without any effort you sink your naked fingers onto the dead man's ribcage and easily pluck it out, revealing a perfectly cooked bleeding and burning heart. With a grunt you pluck it out and show it to Kunuiakea, the organ is still spasming from the electricity, beating as if it were alive, pumping and squirting blood and flames from its thick ventricles.

You could eat the heart and recover your health. But that would be a challenge to Kunuiakea, as the leader and god of the High Evolutionary and all of Hawaii he has the privilege of eating the champion aspirants that have survived long enough.

You might look like a monster, you might even act like one. But you are not a monster.

With a grunt you launch the bleeding heart to the giant living god and with a smile he catches it in mid-air and then eats it whole.

The public erupts in applause and uproar.

Your stomach grumbles, your body suffers... but they all love you.

There's only one last trial, the waterboarding, you left it for last because it looked like the least lethal of the trials. Sure being choked and tortured for three minutes must be terrible, but in comparison with the other trials it didn't even sound half bad. But then, as you approach the area where the aspirants are being waterboarded you start to see the corpses, they look terrible, most are bleeding from every orifice on their faces and their skins have turned to unnatural colors.

Then you see and smell it. They aren't going to use water, they have a dozen of liquids and fluids to torture you with, from cleaning products to fuel, poison and god knows what else.

Alright:

Your highest roll is a 99, you get a +50 bonus from your 5 END, and another +5 from the chems in our body, their effect is weakened now.

Surviving this counts as a "Damn Near Impossible" difficulty roll so my rolls will have a +60 modifier.

As you approach the last trial you see how a champion aspirant, a sturdy looking raider woman, is horizontally tied to a metallic slab by heavy ropes and chains, how a nasty and bloodied looking loincloth is placed above her face and then how several Onis grab random barrels full of liquid and start pouring whatever is inside over her face, choking her with a mixture of different hazardous fluids.

At first she takes it easily, she looks like she will be able to endure the three minutes of waterboarding, but then her spirit breaks, she starts to scream, acid and poison enter into her face and mouth, she starts to cough blood, and by the time the second minute comes she's completely dead. The Onis nonetheless continue pouring random liquids onto her now dead body.

Will Kunuiakea also eat these tainted and corrupted corpses? Shouldn't his body be affected by the poison and the other toxic materials? He told you that he was a perfectly evolved human, perfect in every aspect, immune to all forms of disease, the harmful effects of ionic radiation, and even old age, is he also protected against poisons? Is he truly a god? You might start to truly believe he is.

You look at your body and see some minor bruises and scratches from the beatdown, you feel a scar forming around your neck from being hanged and several burns and blisters from the electric chair. You look absolutely terrible, and the rest aren't faring any better. You have a superhuman resilience, unbreakable bionic limbs, even an implant that accelerates your healing, and on top of that several drugs that have made you even more resistant to damage. The other champion aspirants don't count with these advantages, they all look on the verge of death.

With a grunt the Onis placed on the waterboarding section of the Gauntlet throw the corpse of the raider woman onto the ground and nod at your direction, as if telling you that you can try whenever you want.

You place yourself on the slab lying on your back and let the Onis chain and tie you until you are completely bound and unable to move. The disgusting bloody rag is placed over your face, you can immediately feel and smell the old blood, the fuel and the poisons along with a few acid drops that start painfully burning your skin.
>>
>>4813762

Whatever they start pouring at you is isn't water, that's for sure. You feel the nasty and pungent liquid going up your nose, you can’t breathe. You have felt different types of tortures so far, but this is among the worst things that you have ever felt. You’re actually inhaling the liquids, the toxic fluids, the poisons. You feel a burning sensation inside of you, the liquids start filling your lungs, your brain is on fire, your nasal cavity is on fire, your throat is completely swollen up.Your ears begin to ring and lights flash in behind your unseeing eyes.

Unlike with the electric chair this is a slower, weaker, but not less painful torture. This time you are fully conscious of what's happening.

You feel a mixture of drowning and burning both inside and outside of your body, your heart is beating as fast as it can, your lungs are filling with more and more toxic matter mixed with your own blood.

Then, it finally ends, the three minutes are gone, the rag is removed from your face, the chains and ropes are removed, the Onis punch you in the gut several times and even go as far as introducing their fat and disgusting fingers up your mouth to force you into vomiting.

You puke your guts and lungs out, a nasty and steaming mixture of black oil, green poisons, yellowish moonshine, gastric juices and god knows what else all mixed with your own crimson blood. You gasp and fall on your knees onto your own pool of vomit. Still you feel terrible, you feel as if you aren't done yet, once more you induce vomit by pushing your own fingers into your throat. You do this several times until your stomach cramps from the pain and you have finally regurgitated everything that was on your system, including the chems.

The air raid siren sounds once more, the Gauntlet is over, only you and another four aspirants have survived. You look at the others, two women and two men have survived. The first survivor is a tall a lithe asian woman, the second is a muscular white raider woman with a great blonde mane, the scars and wounds on her body are both old and fresh, she looks like she has been in a thousand battles already. Then there's a male polynesian looking tribal, his body covered in tattoos with intricate designs and scarifications and piercings made of bone, the last survivor is black muscular man covered in strange paints and hues. They all look strong on their own, its no wonder why they survived so far.

Kunuiakea stands up and everybody starts clapping. With a jump he descends into the arena and starts walking towards the surviviros stepping on the many corpses around, not paying any attention to them.

"COME TO ME MY CHILDREN! COME AND RECEIVE THE REWARD THAT YOU DESERVE!"

The survivors, including you walk towards him. In the past occasions you were merely thrown a bag of caps as a reward, this time you are give a gift by his own hand, a gift much more valuable than money.

Each survivor is given the choice between two syringes, one full of a blueish liquid, the other with an orange fluid inside.

"THIS WILL BE WHAT WILL MAKE YOU GODS! THE BLUE SYRINGE WILL MAKE YOU BIG AND STRONG LIKE ANIMALS, YOU WILL EVEN LOOK LIKE WHATEVER ANIMAL YOU EAT! THE ORANGE ONE WILL MAKE YOU NOT AS STRONG, BUT YOU WILL BE INCREDIBLY RESILIENT TO ALL TYPES OF DAMAGE!"

The aspirants choose between one of the two needles, a few inject them right away, others prefer to wait until they are healed.

> Grab the strain that created your "Siblings" and inject it right away.
> Grab the strain that created your "Siblings" and save it. Perhaps the Brotherhood could create a cure or a poison tailored for this particular strain.

Sure as hell not giving it to Brotherhood, just don't wanna inject Diego with any of this shit. He is already mutated enough, if not too much.

> Grab our clothes, find Roa

You take the syringe filled with orange fluid from Kunuiakea's giant left hand and approach it to your face to closely look it up, the orange fluid looks dense, almost gel like, it shimmers under the light and glows in strange manners. It's hard to imagine that this was what was once injected inside of you. What would happen if you took a second dose, would you mutate even further? You don't want to find out.

"TO THE FIVE REMAINING CHAMPIONS, MY FIVE FUTURE SONS! TONIGHT YOU WILL HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE FORTRESS'S INFIRMARY! HEAL UP AND REST! EAT AND RECOVER! FOR TOMORROW IS THE LAST TRIAL! THE LAST BLOOD GAME! WILL YOU BE ABLE TO SURVIVE RAD LONG? HAHAHAH!"

The god-man seems to be really happy and proud, the games are coming at an end, soon he will have new champions to transform, new soldiers to add to his every growing army.

Once more the public stands up in ovation and roaring applause, they really seem to have enjoyed this particular trial. You know why, they love to see the champions being killed. As the games went on the aspiring champions that survived started acting more and more rudely with the people that simply came to spectate, perhaps the champions believed themselves to be immortal and untouchable, perhaps they had some kind of power trip that made them extra cruel. You too have ended damaged by the games and went as far as bullying your way into hogging a shared bath for yourself only. The Diego of a couple of years back would have never dared to do anything like that.

People start to move, the survivors go to the Fortress to tend their wounds, the spectators return to the Boneyard, you too walk with them. You'll have chance to return to the Fortress and heal later on. As you walk you notice that people don't dare to approach you, they always leave at least a feet of distance, you feel like a shark swimming in the ocean, the moment they come close all the fishes desperately swim away.
>>
>>4813933

Just outside of the arena you find Roa diligently waiting for you, the moment he notices your presence he opens the Power-Armor to let you in.

"Running diagnostics... Holy shit, what happened to you? Your vitals are all over the place. It's a fucking miracle that you are breathing and standing up."

"The Gauntlet were several small endurance trials. Being hanged by a noose for a minute, two minutes in an electric chair, three being waterboarded with poisons, and four minutes of being beat by other Onis. This was by far one of the most brutal trials, only five people survived in total."

"My God... and there's still the last trial right?"

"Yeah..." You say with a weak guffaw, feeling pain in your ribs and lungs as you laugh.

"It was called Rad Long. Perhaps we should stock on Rad-x and Rad Away."

"I would love to, but I have no caps on myself. I gave most of my caps to Tomas' workers for letting me use their bathtub for so long, and the rest I spent it on buying chems, I'm glad I did, the drugs might have saved my life. And for some reason in this occasion the High Evolutionary didn't reward us with money, but with power."

You grab the syringe and place it on front of your face to let Roa look at it.

"What's that?"

"FEV, the Forced Evolutionary Virus, the same strain that made me what I am right now. I... Perhaps someone might be able to develop a cure for my condition from it. I don't know... Anyway, how did your mission fare?"

"I couldn't hack into the FEV laboratory, there were two Onis protecting the elevator, but I'm sure that with them gone I could get control of it. Not everything is bad news thought, I was able to deliver the radio to Fusumi, we can establish contact with her whenever we want... her, particular biology allows her to hide the radio inside of her body, she has promised me that she can speak with us without being caught. Do you want me to open a channel with her?"

> Speak with Fusumi, ask her if she can gather information about what the last trial might be about. Be as prepared as you can.
> Order Roa to upgrade your gear and go to the infirmary to heal as much as you can. Tomorrow is the last trial and simply resting and letting your Phonenix implant do the work won't be enough to fully heal you.
> Speak and meet Fusumi. Use your charm to get laid with her just to spite Kunuiakea and have her be completely loyal to you.
> Other options, write in.
>>

> Speak with Fusumi, ask her if she can gather information about what the last trial might be about. Be as prepared as you can.

We can do both, right? Need like 10 minutes tops to talk with her and the rest of the day is for heals.
>>
>>4813973
Yeah, we can do both, to be honest I didn't really know what to put as options lmao.
>>
>>4813977
hey, it's always better than only 2 choices!
something like ">spend the off-time raiding merchants for rad-x and radaway" lol
>>
>>4813984
>something like ">spend the off-time raiding merchants for rad-x and radaway" lol
I had considered it. But thought that it felt out of character for Diego, one the other hand... fuck raiders.

But hey, that's what write-ins are for!
>>
>>4814004
Yeah, let's speak with Fusumi, go to the infirmary, and send Roa in our armor to shake down raiders for rad-x and radaway. They should be scared shitless of us at this point so shouldn't ask too many questions. 2 birds stoned at once
>>
>>4814004
Yeah honestly, although recently Diego felt a bit like he was changing to bad.

>>4814033
I think we need Roa in case Fusumi calls.
>>
>>4814041
True I misread the previous post.
>>
>>4814041
But on the other hand roa should go shakedown the raiders and get us our mens, and then we call fusumi on the radio when roads back for an update on the trial

> I think we need Roa in case Fusumi calls.
The radios are like the NCR emergency Radios from New Vegas. The size of chunky thick phones.

Roa and the Power armor acts like an antenna, you need to have him around to establish the communication, but he doesn't needs to be present. As long as he isn't underground or too far away you'll be able to speak to Fusumi.

We can also use the radios to speak to Roa if the need arises.
>>
>>4814062
yeah but if he (armor) is away, then we can't pick up
>>
>>4814067
>yeah but if he (armor) is away, then we can't pick up
I think I didn't explain myself properly enough. I'm sorry.

Roa and the Power armor acts like a radio and an antenna. The power armor has the radio integrated on itself, but there are also two handheld versions, one for Fusumi, one for Diego.

Even out of the armor we could speak with Fusumi or with Roa.
>>
>>4814033
Awesome axsi, so I stand by my previous choice then
>>
>>4814079
o h
>>4814102
Can we make Roa search for RadX and RadAway instead of outright attacking others, unless they are all raiders? It kinda goes against what we tried to teach him.
>>

>Can we make Roa search for RadX and RadAway instead of outright attacking others, unless they are all raiders? It kinda goes against what we tried to teach him.
Yeah, I'm already writing the next update. Roa will simply be given the instruction of obtaining RadX and RadAway, and he's good enough to not do it violently.
>>
>>4814144
good roa

> Speak with Fusumi, ask her if she can gather information about what the last trial might be about.
> Order Roa to gather Stimpaks, Rad-X and RadAway.
> Go to the infirmary to heal as much as you can.

"If I used the radio could I also speak with you?"

"Well, yes. The Power armor acts like a radio antenna on its own. As long as I'm inside of the armor you should be able to speak with me and with Fusumi. Why do you ask?"

"The last game, Rad Long, will be tomorrow. I don't have time on my side. Do you think you could gather Stimpaks, Rad Away and Rad-X for me? In the meanwhile I'll speak with Fusumi and see if she can give me any information about the next game."

"Very well." Roa replies as he opens the armor for you.

You leave the armor and from your backpack grab your clothes and your Laser Gun. You quickly get clothed with your old and beloved trench coat and with a pat to his back leave him be, you trust him, you know he will do well.

It's been a while since you have worn this old trench coat. You got it on Fallen Horizon, when you were still young and naive, when Daphne was still with you, when things weren't all wrong and terrible. The old coat still smells of sea salt and the strange aroma of the ship city, it still smells of her. You shake your head and look at the Fortress, all that it's nothing but a dream now, a past that you cannot cling to. With a confident stride search for an intimate place where you won't be bothered nor spied. Luckily for you the Boneyard is well, a yard full of bones now, thousands of persons came here the first day, now a few days afterwards less than a hundred remain.

"Fusumi? Can you hear me?" You ask to the radio as you sit in an abandoned tent.

On the other side you suddenly hear the sound of something that sounds like a grumbling stomach, then her muffled voice finally comes. "Diego? Is that you?"

"Yes, are you alright? I can't barely hear you."

"Kunuiakea is planning to marry me after the last game. He plans to make everybody witness who their new queen will be. They have locked me in a tower, for my protection he said. Kunuiakea is worried that some Oni might attack me. After all several of the Onis still see me as an outsider and newcomer. He thinks that a few of his children might not accept me as queen at first. I know that's all a lie, the Onis are completely brainwashed and will accept whatever he says, he has locked me so I cannot escape. There are guards stationed outside of the Tower, and Kunuiakea only takes me out to witness the games. You did pretty well by the way."
>>
>>4814433

You don't know what to say. Fusumi is a victim like you, a person taken from her home and forced into a life that she didn't wanted.

"I... that's terrible. Is there anything I can do?"

"Promise me that you will never be on his side, that we will work together to kill him."

"Of course!"

The sound of her stomach rumbling becomes loud.

"Are you alright? Are you hungry?"

Fusumi chuckles. "No, it's alright. Remember how due to my particular mutation I could melt things and absorb them with my skin? Well, I can also choose to not melt things. I'm storing the radio inside of me, just between my stomach and my intestines. I think I could fit pretty much anything in here, I have become quite flexible. I can also devour anything that's stored inside of me at any time, so I'm in no risk of being discovered, I can always melt the radio into a molten puddle and then expel it from one of my tentacles."

The thought of using her to secretly transport your kidnapped children into safety crosses your mind, but you shake your head and try to forget it, seeing her introducing her into her body is absolutely disgusting.

"I'm not sure if Kunuiakea can impregnate me, but if he ever does I'll devour every one of the babies that he puts in me. The world has enough abominations already, I won't bring any more... At some point he will either find out or think that I cannot become a mother, and the I'm sure that he will kill me. And by God how much I will welcome that day."

"Are you serious?"

"Diego, I'm a dead woman already. You still look quite human, you might be able to pass as one and live a normal life. But me? I'm a monster, a creature so removed from humanity that it shouldn't even be considered a person anymore. I cannot return home to my family, how could I? Martyrdom is the only fate that I can opt to. I know I will die, but before I do I will try to take as many as I can with me."

"Don't say that. I'm sure that people will be able to accept you." You say, not fully believing your words.

She sighs and then you continue speaking.
>>
>>4814434

"Have you got any intel on the last trial You know what Rad Long could be about?"

"No, they are keeping me in the dark, but I've heard that Kunuiakea will personally participate, our other siblings might participate as well."

"What, that's crazy?"

"Yeah, well, crazy dangerous that for sure. Apparently many people died preparing the last trial, and it's so dangerous that I'm forbidden from participating. Kunuiakea doesn't wants to put me at risk... You looked pretty beat up after the Gauntlet, you should go to the Fortress and heal, they have several Auto-Docs and healing robots. The High Evo doesn't likes robots, they see them as below ghouls even, they don't think they should have sentience and that they should only be slaves... but those medical bots have patched them up and saved their lives in uncountable occasions for centuries already, so they kinda respect them. If you go there try to not break any robot, or you'll make them mad, now they don't have the Sons of Kanaloa around to repair them."

You nod and suddenly from the radio hear the sound of a knocking door.

"FUSUMI! Says Kunuiakea's beast like growling voice.

"I have to go now!" Fusumi says in a whisper, with fear on her voice. "He has come again... he wants me to bear his children so badly. Please, help me stop him."

All you can hear then is a door violently being opened and Kunuiakeas' laugh mixed with Fusumi's screams of terrors, followed by the sound of dry humping and grunting mixed with sobbing, you turn off the radio and scream in frustration. Fusumi is being raped and there's nothing you can do about it.

With your fists clenched hard and feeling more rage than ever you enter the Fortress and go straight to the infirmary. Normally you focus on the people and the appearance of the area, but not today, you strip completely and jump into the first Autodoc that you see and let it do its magic. The first thing the machine does is scan your wounds and then inject you with general anaesthesia. You fall asleep as you hear the rumble and whirring or robotic arms all around you.
>>
>>4814437

By the time you wake up it's late night. You see that the other four survivors are still on their Auto-Docs, you are the first one to leave. This makes sense, despite being heavily wounded you were still the aspirant with the least wounds, the rest were in a much worse shape and condition than you were. Your body is still somewhat sore and bruised, but its much better than before.

You leave the Fortress and see that its late night, above you lies a sky full of stars and with a bright full moon. The anaesthesia and the operation have left you pretty tired and hungry, you should eat something and sleep for a few hours. Just as you reach Tomas' stalls you see Roa waiting for you here, next to him a bag with several chems and stimpaks inside, you notice that his knuckles are bloodied, it seems to not everybody wanted to willingly share their stuff.

"Roa?"

"Oh! You are back. Sorry, I was lost on my thoughts."

"Everything alright?

"No... I'm not sure. I had to do terrible stuff to get your chems, this blood doesn't comes from me attacking and stealing people, I managed to charm my way into getting the chems for free, the fact that all the people believed that I was you helped a lot. I... at some point I saw several raiders bullying and harassing a tribal man, and I thought to myself, what would Diego do? So I went and helped him. The raiders were so drugged out that they didn't believe that I was Diego, the great champion, and they stupidly charged towards me. And I had to kill them. It's... it's the first time that I kill, I've witnessed you doing it before, and felt nothing because I was merely watching from your point of view. But now, it was different, I have actively snuffed a life. I... and don't tell me that it was self defence, because that's bullshit, I was never in danger, these raiders had no chance at winning against me... This is a terrible world, this is horrible no matter how much you look at it... I've, I've also heard what happened to Fusumi. I... Diego I'm not sure I want to live anymore. I think I will help you beat the Blood Games and then I'll self delete myself. I don't want to live in a world like this. "

> Tell him to man up and simply bottle his feelings like everybody else does. You too felt terrible the first time you killed someone, but that didn't stop you from trying your best. Leave him pondering on his thoughts and go to sleep.
> Try to guilt trip him, tell him that killing himself would be selfish and cowardly, that Saint's sacrifice to create him would be made worthless, that without him your chances of defeating the High Evolutionary are even smaller. Tell him that desperate times require desperate actions, order him to gather more chems and stimpaks by any means necessary and go to sleep.

He needs to remember that what had happened, was purely an accident, but an unfortunately nessassary one.
Think about what hes done. Yes, killing as a rule of thumb can be bad, with a few exceptions. Some exceptions being raiders. Theres also the fact that he probably saved the tribals life. If the raiders kept harrassing him who knew how much they would try to escalate things.

Speech check time... all that it takes for evil to succeed is for good men (or good AI's) to do nothing, etc.

And if ya'll had been a bit more open minded we could have tried to waifu Fusumi and saved her from being raped!

> So how big is this bag we have? Cartoonishly so?
Pretty much. But I think that in a past thread I mentioned that we are pretty close to our weight limit.

>We gonna chain gang these candies?
Hell yeah. We have a perk called "Day tripper" that doubles the effect of chems and booze and makes us unable to get addicted. It wouldnt be the first time that we get high as fuck and end in an orgy or some other shameful situation.

We dont! But we know a couple of guys that are pretty good chem makers. One is a raider called Maggot, the other a hippie fisherman called Seabreeze

This makes absolutely no sense.
There was no "waifuing" Fusumi. Trying to "send her dirty thoughts" the very first time we met, as she shoved tentacles in our armor, paralyzed and spoke with us telepathically is not "waifuing".

You sit next to him and place your hand over the armor's metallic shoulders, can Roa feel your touch? You hope he does.

"This world might be broken... but when something breaks what you have to do is repair it."

"I know... but this world has been nuked, it will be millennia before all the radiation is gone, and even after that happens all the ecosystems and fauna will have been affected and mutated. It's impossible to go back to how the world was before the bombs."

You nod and sigh, and then with a smile remember something that you read on a copy of the "Wasteland's Survival Guide" that somehow made into your hands. On that book the author pondered about the reasoning of writing such a book. Roa might not know it but he is having a very human reaction, many people have thought the same things as he before him.

"Perhaps, but if there's no going back then we will have to do the best we can. Look, did you ever try to put a broken piece of glass together? Even if the pieces fit, you cant make it whole again the way it was. But if you're clever, you can still use the pieces to make other useful things. Maybe something wonderful, like a mosaic. Well, the world broke like glass, and everyone's trying to put it back together like it was, but it'll never come together the same way. The world might never be like it was before the nukes, but if we work together we can perhaps learn from our mistakes and make it better than it was before."

"I don't know. Human nature doesn't change like that."

"Maybe. I've certainly heard people say that. But isn't it also human nature to try to do better than we always have? You are a good person Roa, I know you are. What happened with those raiders was an accident, one that needed to happen, you saved that poor tribal's life. He will be forever grateful of your actions, and perhaps at some point he will also have the chance to do good like you did, and motivated by your actions he might act and do good things, you might have created a chain reaction of goodness... All that it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing, sometimes inaction can be as bad. I'm glad that you interceded and saved that person's life. You did well Roa, I'm proud of you."
>>
>>4814975

Together you then spend the night chatting and pondering about what means to be human and what truly means to be good or to be evil. You learned some philosophy during your high school years, even read about the ancients, but most was lost during the war, all those primeval questions that have been on the minds of curious people since the dawn of time might have been answered once, but nobody remembers those answers now, hopefully someone in the future might come with the truth again.

Dawn comes sooner than you expected, at the end you have been all night chatting and cheering him up. You feel like you did an amazing job, not only will Roa feel better now, but you have also shaped him into being the best version of himself. The air raid siren sounds once more, it will be the last time you'll hear it.

> Alright! The last Blood Game will be BRUTAL!

You are feeling kind of exhausted and hungry from spending all night chatting with Roa, but it's alright, before heading into the arena you grab some canned cram and a couple of Nuka Colas from Tomas' shop, leave an "I.O.U" note and quickly munch and gulp it all before heading into your next trauma inducing trial. If you survive you'll have more than enough to repay him, if you don't, well, you will be dead, so who cares.

Confidently you enter the arena and see the other four survivors heavily armed and well equipped. The Ronin is wearing an ornate and complex armor made of wood, leather and metal, on her back there is a long two handed katana, on her hips a dozen poison knives and a powerful and heavily modified 5.56mm pistol. The tribal is wearing pelts decorated with seashells and feathers, he has a bow, several tomahawks and a dozen throwing spears on his back, along with bags full of caltrops and different poisons for his weapons and arrows. The Berserk is wearing a gas mask and regular heavy raider armor, she's carrying a massive two handed axe, a heavy machinegun on her back and several molotovs on her hips. The hunter is wearing a camouflage suit made of leaves and wood decorated with bones and trophies captured on his hunts, several of these are human. They all look stronger than yesterday, a few simply look more muscular, others have already started acquiring animal features on them, they have all been infected with the virus.

The arena looks eerily empty, looks like most of the people that came to spectate are now dead, if the rads didn't get them then the hunger, disease and abuse from the other champions did the trick. In one end of the arena, placed in a special section and sitting on a throne is Kunuiakea surrounded by his many Onis, he's wearing an ornate armor and carrying several swords on his hips. You can see Fusumi too, she's sitting next to him, a chain around her neck to keep her close to him.

"CHAMPIONS! MY FUTURE CHILDREN! I AM A GOD NOW, BUT I TOO HAD HUMBLE ORIGINS LIKE YOU! I AM THE LIVING PROOF THAT ACHIEVING GODHOOD IS POSSIBLE, MY CHILDREN ARE PRIME EXAMPLES AS WELL, AND SO WILL YOU. BUT BEFORE WE CAME THERE WERE OTHER GODS, MY PARENTS WERE FROM A FAR AWAY ISLAND CALLED JAPAN! THEY SPOKE TO ME ABOUT LEGENDARY DRAGONS, MIGHTY CREATURES THAT EVERYBODY FEARED AND RESPECTED, THEY HAD BEAUTIFUL NAMES LIKE SHENG LONG, FOR YOU SEE... IN THEIR ANCIENT LANGUAGE LONG MEANT DRAGON, AND SO, WITH MY MAGIC I MANAGED TO REVIVE ONE OF THOSE DRAGONS OF TIME PAST! MEET RAD LONG!"
>>
File: Rad Long.jpg (530 KB, 1376x730)

Suddenly the entire arena rumbles, under your feet a set of gears and chains turn and tense, a massive door opens and from it the biggest creature that you have ever seen emerges. A dragon in the loosest of senses, for this is no regular dragon from myth, but a mutant creature made from the worst that the wasteland could offer. The people that you saw in the jungle capturing Cazaclaws didn't need the creature itself, but its DNA.

Rad long screeches into the skies and then immediately proceeds to attack and eat several of the few spectators that had survived until this point. As everybody attempts to flee in horror the dragon's throat suddenly starts to disgustingly bloat up and glow with a green light. With a revolting sound Rad Long then proceeds to vomit a glowing green liquid that starts to melt everything and anyone that it touches it, your geiger counter starts cracking like mad, whatever he pukes isn't only incredibly corrosive but also heavily radioactive as well.

The spectators are doomed, the doors to leave the arena have all been closed and chained, the few ones that try to run to Kunuiakea for help are gunned down by his Onis. This is going to be an absolute bloodshed.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Kunuiakea laughs as he witness the dragon devouring people. He orders some of his Onis to take Fusumi away to safety and then, with a swift movement he stands up and once more gracefully jumps into the arena.

"FIGHT AND DIE FOR ME MY CHILDREN! PROVE TO ME THAT YOU ARE WORTHY!"

Maybe we can get Roa to scan this monstrosity and see if there are any weak points?

Also if we are going to hang back and see what happens perhaps we should use our shroud as well for a bit of extra stealth.

> Ask Roa to Scan for weakpoints

The Ronin runs around the Dragon as she launches poisoned knives with one hand and uses her powerful revolver with the other, most of the knives cannot penetrate its thick hide and bounce back.

The tribal prepares poisoned arrows and from time to time launches makeshift explosives that barely seem to damage the abomination.

The berserk is screaming and wildly shooting, many of her bullets impact on the dragon and pierce its thick skin, a few stray bullets fly wildly and instead land on the spectators behind. Her machinegun's barrel turns red from the heat and soon her bullets run out, she drops the machinegun and instead grabs her double handed axes before running towards Rad Long with a wild wail.

The Hunter shoots at the dragon with a powerful Syringer and launches strange egg like balls of flesh that explode in contact and release swarms of mutated bloatflies that start harassing the monster.

Kunuiakea doesn't wastes any time, he unsheathes his two massive swords and with a scream runs towards Rad Long, slashing its legs and staining the ground with corrupted blood.

You also take part, and grabbing your automatic Laser Pistol start shooting at Rad Long. Several superheated red energy blasts fly across the arena and impact on the creature's left eye, making it recoil in pain as it stars to burn.

"Roa! Can you analyse Rad Long and search for weakpoints?"

"I'm on it! But I'll need you to get closer, its hide is so thick that it even blocks my scanners!"

The entire arena fills with smoke. As you reload you grab your Shroud and put it around your armor, the Dragon might not see the world like you do, perhaps the shroud might help you hide from it.

> The creature isn't impervious to damage or fire. Overcharge and sabotage your Thermal cleavers to make them explode and then launch them at Rad Long's mouth, see if you can make it eat them and explode once they are inside of him.
> Use your Naval Cannon and aim at the creature's mouth. If its head is crippled he might not be able to spew any more caustic radioactive vomit.

> How many more augmentics can we get?
We could get one implant per END point. We have 5 END so 5 implants. The players later took the "Biomechanical Adaptation Lv1" perk, so we can get another implant for a total of 6... and we have a total of 6 implants! So we can't take any more augments right now.

If the players take "Biomechanical Adaptation Lv2" then we will be able to take another 3 implants for a total of 9. If the players take "Biomechanical Adaptation Lv3" we will have another 5 implants that we can take, for a total of 14.

At that point we would be almost more machine than human.

This but slight change in strategy. Since it's eyes are weak to fire let's grapple up to his head, overcharge our thermal cleavers, and pop this fucker's eyeballs.

Thermal Cleavers are an incredibly useful tool, would be a shame to destroy them. Skyrim him instead.

Also since we seem to have new players, let me just remind everyone that this is a literal Spanish Navy Cannon taken from a ship that can turn a muscular giant standing almost 8ft tall into a chunk of gore (screen related).

I'm at work right now so the next update might take a while.

I tought you guys would be far more surprised about the fact that "Rad Long" isnt about enduring radiation for a long time, but the name of the Boss.

Anyway. I hope you like this boss. I had also considered adding smaller "Mutaclaws", failed versions of Rad Long. But I thought it would have been too much. Heres the picture of how they would have looked like.

The picture of Rad Long, the Mutaclaw and the Cazaclaw were all done by Endivinity. She sells tshirts with cool deathclaw designs as well.
>>
>>4816070
You may have forgotten Axsi but early on when you revealed the trial names you said that Rad Long was not going to be what we expected...

But that being said, it's an excellent surprise and big boss fights are always cool. I think we're all just concentrated on defeating the damn thing lol
>>
>>4816070
I thought it was gonna be radiation survival based. I honestly didnt expect the giant monster.
>>
>>4816070
I'm not surprised because I didn't even try to guess what each consecutive challenge would be. We seemingly had no room to prepare with how little time there was to heal up, which led to (at least me) dealing with the situation on hand instead of thinking ahead and getting creative.

Another reason is that Rad Long was supposed to be rad and it's indeed radioactive. Now, if the dragon was happy, that would be a surprise.

I'm currently focused on what should we do after RL is defeated.
Was honestly thinking we could feed Kunuiakea to the dragon or at least attack him here while he's busy/wounded, but the armed Onis would fuck us up.

> Use your Naval Cannon and aim at the creature's mouth. If its head is crippled he might not be able to spew any more caustic radioactive vomit.

You raise your naval cannon and put inside a heavy iron cannonball. The ball is crudely made from metal that you gathered from around the Boneyard, but it will do the trick. It's a shame that your cannon isn't an automatic anymore, you know that with a salvo of well aimed shots you could easily tackle down this gigantic foe.

With a scream you raise the massive weapon and aim at Rad Long's head, you can feel Roa's cybernetic brain alongside with your Pip-Boy's VATS processor working all together to move your Power-armor's synthetic muscle bundles and help you better target your objective.

Rad Long jumps into the spectator's seats and starts devouring the buffet that had been readied for him, the defenceless spectators cannot do anything but desperately run in every direction like scared radroaches, if they approach the Onis they are mercilessly gunned down... so a few desperately jump from the highest points of the arena to the outside, nobody can survive a fall like that but they seem to prefer a quick death than being devoured whole.

The rest of the champion aspirants continue doing their best to fight the dragon, but even despite having gained impressive superhuman strenght from the FEV they are still too weak. You lock your target, press the trigger and feel the entire weapon rumble as it fills with fire and launches the cannonball at deadly speeds.

*BOOM!!*

The explosion echoes all across the arena and impacts straight on the dragon's head. The eye that you damaged before comes flying while still burning. The abomination momentarily loses its balance and Kunuiakea takes advantage of the situation to jump onto the beast's back and start violently chopping, the Berserker and the Hunter join him and also climb onto the dragon to attack its back.

To your surprise Rad Long stops attacking and feasting upon the spectators and focuses its attention onto you. Suddenly it jumps back into the arena and sends everybody that was on top of him flying away, and then starts using its claws and powerful jaws to crumble the ground into small chunks of dirt only to proceed to swallow the rocks with blinding speed.

The Ronin and the Tribal attack from the sides but Rad Long mostly ignores them, their weapons barely scratch it's thick leathery hide. Kunuiakea, the Berserk and the Hunter stand up from the ground and attempt to join the rest but the dragon spins quickly and with its powerful tail tackles everybody down. The Dragon's throat starts bloating again, on its insides you can see a nuclear glow emerging and the outline of the many rocks that it had swallowed.

Then, it happens.

BLEEEEEEURGH!!!!

Rad long violently expells all of the rocks that he had stored in its throat as if it were a machinegun, the rocks sharpened by his corrosive nuclear vomit and still coated with it fly towards you at impressive speeds. Suddenly your arm moves on its own and your grappling hook gets launched into the benches, you get pulled into safety just as a dozen of sharp corrosive rocks violently impale and explode against the arena's walls.

"What the fuck!" Roa screams, he was the one that took control of your arm and saved your life. "It's his throat man! The way it's shaped makes the rock get melted into sharp spikes! He could kill us from any point of the arena!"

It seems like Kunuiakea hadn't expected this to happen, perhaps he didn't even know that Rad Long could do this.

"We need cover!" He then screams, the Onis then quickly jump into the wooden cranes that they had built for the Cauldron and start using them to move all kinds of items onto the arena, from massive rocks and ruined cars to whole shipping containers.

This was a clever move by the mutant god, you can run away from his nuclear vomit, but the rocks have a much higher range, in a place so bare like this you simply cannot protect yourself from an attack like that, he's literally leveling the field.

Anons, let's slow down a little bit, if Rad Long kills a hunter or damages Kunuiakea, it can give us some advantage later!
>>

> Check the different Shipping containers that have been left and see if there's anything useful in any of them.

Soon what once was a bare and empty circular arena soon becomes filled with all kinds of trash and debris that can be used as cover. The Onis controlling the cranes carefully avoid the other champions and are specially careful about not hitting Rad Long before dropping their loads. They do not dare to damage the Dragon that Kunuiakea so carefully created with his bio-magic, they do not dare to anger their great god.

Suddenly, to your right a massive cargo crate gets dropped, quickly you can discern that it is no mere shipping crate, it's bigger than the others, thicker, different. The crate has no markings of any kind and oddly enough instead of having a regular lock it has a high-tech biometric keypad. Whoever sent this crate clearly wanted to keep it protected, whatever is inside must be incredibly valuable.

You run towards it and start pressing keys on the biometric keypad, to your surprise the device lights up, it still has power.

"Roa, can you hack it?"

"Of course!"

From your armor you suddenly feel an electric buzz and see an ethereal invisible cloud of shimmering and glistening light and cracking electricity leaving your fingertips and entering into the electronic keypad. The machine then turns crazy, from its LCD screen all kinds of numbers and strange glitching symbol starts to blink and form, and then sparks fly everywhere and with the whistling sound of high pressure air being released the crate opens.

Roa's electric ghost returns to your Power-armor and then he speaks to you. "You aren't going to believe what's inside." Roa tells you, with clear joy and excitement in his voice.

With a creaky sound the crate opens whole and on the other side you see a massive and strange looking Tank.

"There was some data on the crate, they were transporting a captured Chinese Tesla Tank for study and reverse engineering. The thing never reached the mainland because of the Great War."

The massive war machine only has some minor rust on it, with the exception of that its pretty much in absolutely perfect condition. The shipping crate it was stored in seemed to have been airtight and protected it from the effects of time and weather.

"Can I drive?" The AI then begs you.

"Sure, hell I barely know how to drive a car, a chinese tank is clearly out of my reach."

The moment you say this Roa's electronic data cloud once more leaves your body and immediately jumps into the tank. The great war machine's lights then turn on, it's Tesla coils begin to rumble and load with electricity.

"Oh man! This thing is a beast! But... it's also an absolute energy guzzler and it doesn't has much charge on its energy cells. According to my calculations I can shoot it only twice before the batteries run dry."

You jump into the tank and ready your weapons. Time to kill a dragon.

> Use your Naval Cannon and order Roa to shoot Rad Long until the Tank's batteries are empty. The dragon must die.
> Use your Naval Cannon to shoot a car and make it explode, and then when the arena is full of smoke and fire order Roa to shoot Kunuiakea instead. Make everybody believe that the Dragon killed it. In the long run the Man-God is much more dangerous than Rad Long itself.
> Use your Naval Cannon and order Roa to shoot the dragon only once, save the last shot for when Kunuiakea is weakened enough.
> Other options, write in.
>>
>>4817564
Ok, this is a really hard decision... How powerful is this tank exactly? Are we talking vaporizing shit no problem (like was this tank used to destroy buildings?)

Or is it just anti-infantry jolts that would kill a normal human but not necessarily a powerful supermutant?
>>
>>4817567
> How powerful is this tank exactly? Are we talking vaporizing shit no problem. Or is it just anti-infantry jolts that would kill a normal human but not necessarily a powerful supermutant?

The Tank was designed to be Anti-Infantry and Anti- Light Vehicle.

Humans would be vaporised, turned into piles of dust and charred bones. Robots, Power-Armor and light vehicles would be also heavily affected and be quickly turned into slag.

It isn't effective against heavy vehicles or fortifications.

The dragon will survive being hit only once, he might survive being hit twice.

>> Use your Naval Cannon and order Roa to shoot the dragon only once, save the last shot for when Kunuiakea is weakened enough.

Ok, let's see what happens with 1 shot. Also, another question, are we supposed to kill the other competitors? Or just the dragon? Because then we could have Roa drive the tank around and squash them lol
>>
>>4817576
> Also, another question, are we supposed to kill the other competitors? Or just the dragon? Because then we could have Roa drive the tank around and squash them lol
Only the dragon, but hey if you "accidentally" kill someone else, well, nobody will blame you.
>>
>>4817564
Since both the left and right arms are bionic, could they later be upgraded somewhere down the line to have spikes or blades pop our of the knuckles so they could act like spiked knuckles, or something even more dangerous? Would that kind of modification cost an implant slot if the implant itself is being modified?

>perk suggestions
>>4815891
My vote is for Biomechanical Adaptation Lv2. That's like, three purchasable perks for only the cost of 1. It's not so bad.
>>
>>4817578
OK, then I propose

1) Shoot a car with the cannon to create smoke and confusion
2) Taze the dragon 1 time
3) Have Roa squoosh the Beserker with the tank "accidentally" as they are probably the most dangerous to us in spite of our power armor
>>
>>4817578
is it possible to get the third rank of that Hulk perk? if so, would it be worth getting? Would the HP difference be retroactively applied?
>>
>>4817628
>is it possible to get the third rank of that Hulk perk?
Yes.

>if so, would it be worth getting?
The players don't think so. Getting that third perk would make us be a 100% Super-Mutant, we wouldn't be human anymore.

This would mean that getting a cure to our condition would be even harder, and we would be locked from the Human racial perks and unlock the Super-Mutant racial perks.

>Would the HP difference be retroactively applied?
Nope.
>>
>>4817564
> Use your Naval Cannon to shoot a car and make it explode, and then when the arena is full of smoke and fire order Roa to shoot Kunuiakea instead. Make everybody believe that the Dragon killed it. In the long run the Man-God is much more dangerous than Rad Long itself.
Fuck yes. Shoot his dick off.

>>4817583
We can crush those maggots ourselves if we need to. Kunuiakea is the only actual danger here.
>>
>>4817723
My first reaction as well, but I'm worried the tesla cannon will not kill him, just piss him off. Then we're fighting the dragon AND the other champions AND Kunuiakea. Figured it was better to test it on the dragon first and see how toasted it got.
>>
>>4817727
If we manage to kill Kunuiakea, then the dragon, then the other champions, will that make us the new leader?

>>4817578
Reading the quest starting from the beginning. I'm gonna start on thread 2 in the morning. This is pretty good stuff.
>>
>>4817727
I vote we fuck him up anyway. Diego has to face Kunuiakea eventually, and likely won't have better chance to fight him with this much advantage.
You'd be surprised what a chinese tesla can do to a motherfucker.

>>4817564
Now that I think of it... Can we try to Tesla Gauntlet this bad boy into 3rd shot?
>>
>>4817733
>If we manage to kill Kunuiakea, then the dragon, then the other champions, will that make us the new leader?
Yes, the High Evolutionary respect power more than anything. Anybody can challenge Kunuiakea at any time, it's just that all who have done it before we absolutely crushed.

>Reading the quest starting from the beginning. I'm gonna start on thread 2 in the morning. This is pretty good stuff.
Thanks mate! A few parts are weaker than others, but I hope you enjoy the journey! The beggining has more photoshopped images, but I later realised that they were too time consuming, so they stopped appearing after a while, hope you don't mind.
>>
>>4817733
>>4817738
I was also hoping we could become their leader, since we'd gain access to the underground lab and could really prepare to turn this hellhole into dust. And to make sure the virus is gone for good.

>Now that I think of it... Can we try to Tesla Gauntlet this bad boy into 3rd shot?
Oh yes! Now you are thinking with SCIENCE!

Yes I had considered that option and I was hoping that some of you might come up with it!

After all we have Tesla gauntlets and our PA's energy reserves are massive. It isn't so far-fetched.

By acting as a living battery we can give more energy to the tank... but there's a catch! You see, the transfer of energy will fill the Power-Armor with electricty and shock us in the process. The torture of the electric chair will be a walk in the park compared to this.

Roa could technically leave the tank, get in the PA, allow us to leave the armor, and then recharge the Tank, but that would be a very long and laborious procedure and something almost impossible to pull off if we are fighting a Dragon and a Mutant demigod.

I'm glad you guys came up with it!

Alternatively we could try making good use out of the lab. We could use the HEV for. I dunno. Making cures for super mutants, or making more stable stains of the stuff? We could cure our tentacle friend.
Speaking of her, why do anons want to fuck her if we got a waifu? You know, the daughter of the ex-pirate guy?

>>4817924
+1 to using the gauntlets and PA to power the tank. Let's overclock this bad boy and Tokyo drift our way to victory.
>>
>>4818092
HEV isn't FEV and they all aren't normal supermutants. The formula is lost and they must extract the virus with blood from failed mutants through a torturous process. Also everyone here is a crazy, brainwashed cannibal, because their own DNA is falling apart. Read Kunuiakea's monologue when we first met him in thread #6 for details.
As for unturning Fusumi, afraid it's a no from me. I honestly like her how she is and in this form she had many abilities a regular human could never have.
>>
>>4818122
But does she like being who she is?

"Only two shoots? Fuck! That wont be enough to stop them both!"

[green]"Both?"[/green]

"We need to stop Kunuiakea as well. He's even more dangerous and vicious than Rad Long could ever be. Can we somehow charge the tank's batteries?"

[green]"Well... yes! I think we can!"[/green]

"Great! Today is the day we kill a Dragon and a God my friend! Be happy that you didn't kill yourself! You would have hated missing this battle! You would have regretted losing the chance of saving the Wasteland!"

[green]"Yes!"[/green] Roa screams completely hyped up.

The armor's back opens and you get out and quickly you put on your shroud to better hide from Rad Long's fury. Roa goes back to the armor and takes control of it and then somehow he becomes a living conduit of pure energy that starts recharging the Chinese tank with the Tesla Gauntlets.

The container becomes a faraday cage, no electricity goes out, while inside your life is in constant danger of electrocution. Quickly you get out and see that the arena is in complete chaos, no spectators remain alive, they all have been killed or devoured. All of the fighters except the Berserk and Kunuiakea have adopted ranged fighting tactics and are shooting at the dragon from behind cover. You see the abomination on fire and covered in burning arrows and knives coated with dark and poisonous looking liquids, the beast has also several other bleeding wounds here and there. Rad Long is far from dead but its surprising how wounded it is.
>>
>>4818146

The next few minutes feel like hours, you stay hidden Laser Gun in hand while Roa recharges the tank. You are not religious or even superstitious but you cannot avoid quietly praying to whoever might be listening and asking for safety and for the Dragon to never find you. Out of the armor you feel completely exposed, vulnerable, weak. If Rad Long ever finds you he could easily snuff you out with a mere swipe of his gigantic claws.

[green]"It's done!"[/green] Roa screams as the armor slowly stops violently crackling with electricity. Once the armor has discharged and cooled enough it opens for you and quickly you jump back inside and load a new iron ball onto your navy cannon.

"I will create a distraction, then you will fire all of your guns onto Kunuiakea! He's the main objective understood?"

[green]"Roger![/green]

You feel Roa's spirit once more possessing the Tesla Tank and witness how the tank's engine rumbles as its four Tesla cannons begin charging up with power until they star emitting a deadly corona of glowing ionic particles and cracking electricity.

"HIT IT!" You scream. The tank accelerates and flies out of the container and immediately crushes the Tribal which was taking cover nearby. His body explodes in a shower of gore and blood. You completely ignore him, the tank drifts over the arena's sand and violently crashes and sends several cars flying away as you scream and raise your cannon, the moment you see Kunuiakea you target a nearby wrecked highwayman with a scream open fire.

The vehicle immediately explodes and creates a nuclear mushroom that completely engulfs and vaporises the Ronin who was shooting her gun from behind the car.

Roa uses this opportunity and with robotic precision the Tesla Tank aims its four Cannons towards Kunuiakea and then unloads a massive blast of pure concentrated lighting. Everything that the lighting touches is automatically vaporised, anything nearby violently bursts into flames. The Hunter is struck by the lighting and explodes from the inside out, only ashes and charred bones remaining, the Berserk is close enough and starts violently burning, screaming and wailing as the flames quickly yet tortuously finish her off. Many more vehicles explode and fill the entire arena with smoke and dust. Your surroundings starts rumbling and creaking, the walls of the arena being crashing down, several of the wooden cranes splinter and crumble down.

When the smoke dissipates your worst fear comes true.

Kunuiakea has survived.
>>
>>4818148

Somehow the great mutant god saw your attack coming and using his superhuman strength grabbed Rad Long's body and used the great Dragon as a meatshield. Rad Long is dead, only part of its tail and head have survived, just like the Hunter it looks like it exploded from inside out.

Despite having survived Kunuiakea is far from unscathed. His armor is all but gone, almost nothing of it remains, several bloody wounds have formed all across his gigantic frame, parts of his body are on fire and others are covered in Rad Long's nuclear vomit and slowly being corroded away, his entire left arm is gone, vaporised to the bone.

"BETRAYAL!!" He screams as he looks at you with pure undiluted hatred on his eyes and uses his only remaining arm to point at you with his massive katana.

"AND TO THINK THAT I PLANNED TO MAKE YOU GOD OF MACHINES! TO BELIEVE THAT I WANTED YOU TO BE THE HEAD OF MY ONI POWER ARMOR RESEARCH!"

Roa leaves the Tank, it's completely dry and unusable now.

"Enough of this nonsense! You are going to tell me where the children from Fallen Horizon are located!" You scream, your voice distorted by your armor's speakers and sounding almost as brutal and monstrous as Kunuiakea's

All of the surviving Onis jump into the arena and slowly start surrounding you two, among them you can see your brothers... but not Fusumi, she has escaped.

"ONIS! THIS IS BETWEEN US! DO NOT INTERCEDE!" Kunuiakea screams to his Onis, they respect his orders and stay away, but you can see on their faces that each one of them would love to tear you apart.

"HAHAHAH! YOU HAVE COME FOR THESE CHILDREN? THEY WERE GOING TO BE THE PERFECT TEST SUBJECTS FOR MY NEXT STRAIN OF FEV! BUT... SOMETHING ATTACHES YOU TO THOSE CHILDREN, AM I WRONG? NOBODY WOULD DO WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO SAVE SOME MERE CHILDREN... IS YOUR CHILD AMONG THEM?"

"Shut the fuck up!" You say in an outburst of pure rage, the idea of having your babies be experimented upon makes your blood boil.

"YOU ARE CAPABLE OF REPRODUCING! I ALWAYS KNEW THAT YOU WERE SPECIAL! DON'T WORRY DIEGO, AFTER KILLING YOU I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN, I WILL RAISE THEM TO BE MUCH GREATER THAN THEIR FATHER EVER WAS..."

No, but it alao isn't our problem to literally put months if not years into HEV strain research with no scientific expertise to attempt to fix a random stranger we just met.

We could let her try it herself, but we'd still need to make sure this place and its secrets are destroyed and that she doesn't turn into Kunuiakea #2. Then again, she also has no knowledge how to do it.

> Use your Tesla Gauntlets to overload your Thermal Cleavers and chop him up!

"How are we on energy levels?" You internally whisper to Roa.

"Good enough. What's on your mind friend?"

With a smile you grab your two Thermal cleavers and see their blades quickly superheating and spewing sparks and glowing ambers.

"Conduit as much energy as you can to the cleavers. It's time to end this once and for all!"

Your arms start to crackle with power and electricity, the cleavers get overloaded and from their edges blue flames start to violently spew in every direction. Soon they start to heavily vibrate and burn your own hands, they are at their critical point.

With a blood curling scream and heavily foaming and bleeding Kunuiakea dashes towards you. With your arms surrounded in electricity and fire you too run towards him and in a swift movement that lasts less than a heartbeat you slice and melt his Katana to pieces and with a grunt sink the two blades straight into his neck.

Any regular person would have been instantly decapitated, but you aren't fighting a mortal foe, Kunuiakea is a God thru and thru. So big and thick is his neck that instead of swiftly being chopped his powerful muscles stop the two blades completely.
>>
>>4818535

Kunuiakea screams to the skies and throws his destroyed weapon before grabbing you by the neck and puking a stream of boiling god-blood all over you. He then headbutts you with such intensity that he makes you lose your balance and fall on your back. Thanks to your armor you don't receive any damage, but seeing such a harrowing sight chills you to the core and paralyses you completely.

With an inhuman grunt the man-god plucks the two cleavers from his almost decapitated neck and throws them back at you, the two blades get nailed to the ground and start to smoke heavily as they start to burn the blood they have been coated in. From Kunuiakea's neck more and more boiling blood violently squirts, the Onis that get splashed with it seemingly enter in a orgasmic bliss and start to moan and rub the crimson against the bodies, the rest of the Onis start fighting their kin to get closer to their God and be bathed by that divine blood.

"I HAVE A PLAN B, I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT I WOULD END USING IT AGAINST THE ENCLAVE! HAHAHA!"

Suddenly, and to everybody's surprise Kunuiakea then stabs himself on the stomach with his only remaining hand, with a pained grunt he rummages across his guts and after a short while finally finds what he was looking for. With a swift and brutal movement he plucks his arm out and spills parts of his own guts onto the floor, on his hand there a small looking remote controller with a red button on top of it.

"REJOICE! FOR WE ALL WILL ASCEND AND BECOME BETTER THAN GODS!"

You quickly stand up, grab your Cleavers and run towards him but before you can stop him he smiles and presses the red button. Instantly a powerful rumble is the felt all across the arena, the ground crumbles and disintegrates, everybody falls. Light turns into darkness, you spin in the air. One second ago you were unstoppable, now you are powerless.

With a loud crunch you fall onto the ground, and soon after does Kunuiakea and the rest of the Onis along with the corpses of the spectators, champions and of course, Rad Long. It must have been at least a 500 feet fall, if it weren't for your Power-Armor you would have died on the spot. Dazed and confused you look around and once your vision fully comes back gasp in horror, you are in the Garden of Flesh, the FEV laboratories. A computer screen shows a ten second countdown on top of each massive vat of FEV, you also witness all of the different cages that once hold Kunuiakea's many mutant aberrations and failed experiments automatically opening up one by one. Most of the Onis have died in the long fall, the ones that didn't are quickly killed by the genetic abominations running loose. Kunuiakea of course continues alive.
>>
>>4818538

"I'M GLAD THAT YOU DID NOT DIE ON THE FALL GOD OF MACHINES, WITNESS AND EXPERIENCE HOW YOU WILL BECOME PART OF ME NOW!"

The countdown reaches zero, every vat violently releases all of the FEV at once, several different strains mix and mutate together. Soon the entire basement floods. The failed experiments, the corpses, Rad Long, Kunuiakea. All drown together... and you?

Darkness engulfs you.

It's hard to say what happens, or for how long.

Are you dead? In a sense that would be a relief.

You don't want to live in a doomed world that you failed to save.

Suddenly you gasp and find yourself in a strange and dark place, you are covered in a moist slime and blood. You can hear distant echoing rumbles and tortured wails, what is this place?

"Diego...are, are you alive?" Roa's worried voice asks you.

"Yes? No? I... I don't know, where are we?"

"Don't you remember what happened? Perhaps you lost your consciousness, heh, lucky you. Kunuiakea used the Forced Evolutionary Virus to fuse with every one of his Onis, there were almost a thousand of them, plus god knows how many more people and wasteland mutants. It became a.. massive organism of some kind? It didn't care if it was animal, human, alive or dead, they all became one. We could only avoid the same fate because I spent as much as I could electrocuting the armor, the virus couldn't absorb us because I zapped the shit out of it. But it nonetheless swallowed up whole. I... I cannot say much more, I spent too much energy keeping the armor electrified, most of my systems are pretty weakened as well."

"Try to conserve power Roa. Recharge as much as you can. Take a rest, you deserve it."

"Yeah, a quick nap will do me wonders. Powering down..."

You start to explore and see that you are in a cavern of flesh and muscle. Veins as thick as your entire arm pulsate and transport bloods of various colors, most are red, some are of a different shade, a few are neon green and glow with intensity. Your entire surroundings look like a nightmare made real, you can see eyes randomly located in the walls, and the eyes can see you. A few of the floors you touch are spongy and squirmy, they are tongues that can taste your Power-armor's stingy metal foot. Hairs and teeth appear from time to time, some are as big as you are. Oddly enough every now and then you can find entire parts of the laboratory and the arena, a few even still have some form of electricity and lights. The virus did not discriminate, everything organic or inorganic, dead or alive, human or not, was swallowed and became part of the abominable teratoma that you now inhabit.

The eyes, teeth, hairs and tongue are horrible enough, but these aren't the worst around. Every few steps you can hear distant echoing wails that come from half melted people fused to the walls, these folk constantly attempt releasing themselves from the walls that they now are part of, but their efforts are fruitless, they now are one with the tumor, they cannot release themselves, at first you try to kill them but no matter how many times you stab or cut them they won't die, as long as they are connected to the flesh they are immortal, the flesh won't let them die. The only way of saving them is by releasing them, but this proves to be a costly and slow effort, and there are simply too many. You cannot save them all.

Among the way you find items that were absorbed but not destroyed; bottlecaps, energy cells, ammo. Sadly you don't find anything explosive around, everything that could explode was destroyed during the violent transformation. You take as much as you can and continue exploring.

As you walk you try to use the radio in a hopeless attempt at contacting Fusumi, or anyone that might be listening really. The radio crackles with static but then, among all the white noise you manage to hear a very familiar voice.

*BZZZZT!* "Hello? Can anyone hear me?"

"Yes! Fusumi?" You scream back at the speaker.

"Diego? Oh god is that you? Where are you? What's going on?"

"I don't know. Kunuiakea decided to unleash all of his FEV and mutant creature and the virus fused all together, now I think that I'm inside whatever abomination has formed from it."

"You are inside it!?"

"Yeah, I'm trying to find my way out. What's going on outside?"

"Well,a giant monster has emerged in Hawaii and is now devouring and absorbing everything on its path and growing by the minute. The Enclave, Brotherhood and Ohana have already scrambled their forces and are doing their best to take it down. Hell even the raiders and pirates have joined their cause."

"And you? Where are you?"

"When you attacked Kunuiakea I had the opportunity to escape, at first I simply wanted to run away, search a high enough cliff and jump to my death, but then I heard you speaking of your children, I saw their faces you know? When I prodded your mind... so I instead went and rescued them. I stored them inside of myself and safely ran towards Tomorrowland, whose location I also got from your memories. Saint has sent all of his robots to fight the giant monster, I'm carrying him inside of a holodisk, he contacted Juniper before storing himself inside the disc and now I'm about to meet your old friends to deliver your children and Saint to them."

"And then, what do you plan to do?"

"Well, I don't know how much harm I'll be able to do, but I want do die with a bang, so I will join the fight on the ground and attack the monster. I'm sure I won't last long, but that's fine by me."

> Ask Fusumi to help you getting out of the giant monster and then meet with your old friends. Your bomber seaplane will be a great asset against the monster.
> Ask Fusumi to enter the giant monster and together travel to its brain. Fusumi can prod minds and see their memories, perhaps you can unlock the nuclear codes from Kunuiakea's mind and that way you can nuke him to hell and back.

Sorry, but the moment you decided to fight Kunuiakea this outcome became kind of unavoidable. The nat 99 only made us survive the absorption completely unscathed, without taking any rads and also made us lose our consciousness so we also didn't witness the horrific transformation and lose any sanity. In my plans we would have ended far more damaged and fucked up, but of course you guys had to roll a fucking nat 99

I don't wanna sacrifice her, so if we end up telling her to reach that retard's brain, I say we're going in and out with her.

Thanks! The Fallout games are pretty creative to be honest, credit where credit is due. It's just that the game engine is pretty limiting and doesn't allows as much freedom as this quest format gives. Several of the things that have appeared on this quest would make the Creation Engine suffer a stroke and shit on itself several times.

I think that Roa is immune to "lesser" electromagnetic pulses, based on Chinese Tesla overcharge. Shit there got so bad that Axsi felt the need to mention that container itself worked as a Faraday cage, shielding US from what was happening inside.
Nuclear electromagnetic pulses are their own league.

> Ask Fusumi to enter the giant monster and together travel to its brain. Fusumi can prod minds and see their memories, perhaps you can unlock the nuclear codes from Kunuiakea's mind and that way you can nuke him to hell and back.

"Wait, Fusumi, don't waste your life like that. Kunuiakea... I know what he did to you, don't you want to make him pay? If you fight on the ground he will kill you and not even acknowledge your death, you will be like an insect to him. You can prod minds and melt everything you touch right? Deliver my children and Saint to safety and then enter inside of the monster, let's go together to its brain."

"What... what are you talking about?"

"The nukes! Kunuiakea confessed to me that under the island there are hundreds of unlaunched nukes! We have to fight fire with fire. A nuclear apocalypse created Kunuiakea, another nuclear apocalypse will end him."

Then there's an awkward and long silence only broken by random spurts of static and white noise.

"You are crazy, but fuck it, I'm down. My parents told me that I descend from a line of Samurais, Kamikaze fighters and Wasteland Ronins. My ancestors will not give a shit about how I look and will gladly welcome me if I die with a bang."

"Alright, can you survive high altitude jumps?" You ask, as you continue walking, this time looking for a way to ascend into the monster's brain.

"Yeah, my mutation removed my legs but made me develop several new organs and limbs. I have several gland sacs that I can fill with lighter than air gases that let me float and glide. That's why Kunuiakea constantly locked and chained me, he was afraid that I might fly away." She replies with a soft chuckle.

"Great! My friends have a plane. Tell Juniper, the pilot to deliver Saint and my children to safety and then to fly you over the giant monster. Jump from the plane and land on its head, then melt your way into its brain. I'll meet you there."

"You are crazy you know? I like that. Good luck Diego, meet you in an hour or so. Fusumi over."

An hour might not seem like much time, but in a hellish environment like this an hour might as well be an endless wait. Using your grappling hook you go higher and higher and climb across walls that mix metal and flesh. Wherever you go the fused lost souls whimper in your direction, the tongues attempt to lick and grab you, the countless eyes follow you, but you aren't sure if this is all simply a reflex or if Kunuiakea really knows that you are inside of him.

You reach what looks like a great pulsating chamber, you don't know if you are inside some organ or just an empty area. The ground is made of concrete, the walls of flesh, there are several dead Super-Mutant skeletons around, and on one of them you find a treasure of the wasteland. Clutched to the skeleton there is a rusty yet fully functional Fat Man along with a bag full of Mini-Nukes, it's a miracle that the weapon and its explosive munitions weren't destroyed during the transformation.

The Fat Man will be a great aid in your journey to the brain, it will literally help you open a way up. Shortly after grabbing the massive weapon you suddenly hear a distant inhuman screech and see in the distance several tick like creatures coming in your direction, each one of them the size of a van and absolutely bloated with blood.

> Use your Laser Pistol and shot their blood sacs, make them explode.
> Use your Naval Cannon and shot them when they are lined up. Kill a dozen with one cannonball.
> Time to test your new Fat-Man, load a mini-nuke and vaporise them all.

>>

> Time to test your new Fat-Man, load a mini-nuke and vaporise them all.

The timing is impeccable, you have a new spring loaded nuclear launcher and a closed room quickly filling with disgusting mutant critters. Can it be any more obvious?

"I don't have time for this shit." You mutter as you place the heavy weapon and load a Mini-Nuke onto the launching mechanism.

You aim at the ever increasing mass of gigantic ticks and then press the trigger. With a whistling sound and the ring of a bell the nuclear payload flies across the room and in an instant everything turns into fire and smoke. The heat rises and reaches boiling points in less than a second, the ticks that weren't instantly atomised start to burn and explode in a fountain of boiling blood. The few surviving critters run and hide among the many folds of skin that on the meaty walls.

Well, at least now you know that the thing works.

On the outside the gigantic monster stops for a while and clutches its belly in pain, smokes comes out from its nostrils and fang filled mouth. The many vertibirds flying around take advantage of the situation and launch a dozen missiles at once that barely scratch the surface of its skin.

Your surroundings tremble and shake, blood starts to spurt from the walls and quickly starts pooling on the floor. Before the room floods with disgusting fluids you once more use your Grappling Hook and climb your way out and reach a disgusting and tight and constraining intestine looking tube completely lined with eyes of all colours on the insides. You look down and see the room you where in completely filled with blood, there's no way but up. You grab your Cosmic and Uranium Glass knives and use them to climb your way up, with each feet that you move you stab more and more eyes that violently burst and burst with all kinds of disgusting goo. The climb feels eternal, on your way up you stab and blind at least a hundred eyes.

When you finally get out you reach a his chest, you are inside of his ribcage, several interconnected hearts of various sizes and shapes are beating arrhythmically and pumping countless gallons of blood, the hearts are protected by hard bone like plaques, not even your Fat-Man will be enough to destroy them all.
>>

"Powering up... Aloha Diego, what did I miss?

"We talked with Fusumi, she has saved my children and Saint and is taking them to Juniper. After they are safe Jun will fly her to the monster's head. Her mutation allows her to prod minds, we plan to take the codes of the nukes located under the island from her brain and use them to kill him once and for all."

"Holy... but, yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Nothing but several direct nukes would be able to kill this creature."

Above you lie three pathways.

"Roa, can you scan which path should I take?"

"Scanning... One of the paths leads to a massive artery that goes straight to the brain, it's big enough for us to ride it, but you wouldn't be able to breathe. The second one is a trachea of some sort, it looks safe and ample enough to travel it but with every breath it takes the tube will fill with stormy winds, so moving around might be harder than it looks, and the last path is a stomachs intestine, full of creatures but also the shortest pathway."

> Hold your breath and plunge into the massive coronary vein, be pumped straight into its brain.
> Use your claws and Grappling hook to climb the windpipe and resist the deadly respiratory winds.
> Travel the intestine and fight your way up into the monster's skull.
> Other options, write in.

They were literally made to be fired out of cannons. It wouldnt be too far fetched to modify one to fin in the rain of a FatMan Launcher. The attack blades would need to be removed since the only wounds they'd inflict would be paper cuts. Maybe some find could be attacked to the exterior to help guide it, and give it a helicopter propeller like those drones in Bioshock.
The Chineses propaganda would obviously have to go to. I dunno. I'm thinking, get rid of the laser, give it a weakish stealthboy generator, fusion core, high end cameras, an antenna, and use it like a recon/spotter drone. Like an EyeBot, but you can yeet it.

Rolled 40 (1d100)

Originally this was going to be a Luck based dice roll, but then I saw that our Luck is 5 and our Perception is 8.

I'm gonna change this to a Perception based dice roll so you guys get a +80 bonus instead of a +50.

The highest roll is a 62, with the added +80 we get a total of 142!

Since the Kaiju's innards are dark and there isn't much to work with around us this will count as a "Damn Near Impossible" difficulty dice roll, adding a +60 to my dice roll.

We have found a thickass vein that goes striaght to the Kaiju's brain and a wind pipe that connects with a lung.

The plan is as follows:
> We rig our mini-nukes to explode after a time
> Hack some Liberator bots that we will find around
> Mod our Fat-man so it can shoot Liberators
> We will slice open the vein
> Send the Mini-nukes to the Kaiju's brain and lungs giving it asthma and a migraine
> Enter the vein and ascend all the way to his nogging
> Reunite with Fusumi let her steal the nuclear codes from the Kaiju's mind
> Deliver the codes to the BoS or Enclave

> Look around for items that could be useful
> Hold your breath and plunge into the massive coronary vein, be pumped straight into its brain.

You hear and feel muffled explosions and soft rumbles all around you.

Outside dozens of Vertibirds are shooting their missiles and emptying their gatling-lasers at the giant Kaiju, on the ground a army composed of wastelanders, raiders, robots, Brotherhood and Enclave fight all together and despite of how formidable their weapons and combined efforts are they barely manage to scratch the giant monster's thick skin and boney plates, and even if they somehow wound it all of the damage they caused is quickly restored and healed. Kunuiakea isn't only a giant mutant abomination, but a deadly cancer capable of absorbing everything it touches and heal by absorving living beings... and in a lush and thick jungle like this one everything around him organic. As he walks he not only leaves behind a path of absolute destruction, but also an empty and desolate graveyard devoid even of bacterial life.

This is a lost battle, no matter how experienced and combat trained you might be nobody has ever faced an enemy like this before. Mere regular weapons won't do the trick, but perhaps you can do some real harm from his insides.

"Roa, can you scan the area? We need to find stuff that might be useful to do real harm."

"Scanning... I've found several useful materials and even a workbench that we can use. We should split to gather the resources even faster, let me mark their location in your Pip-Boy."

The Power-armor opens and practically ejects you from it. Under the armor you a are only wearing a bloody trenchcoat and a set of raggedy and old clothes. Despite being clothed you feel naked, unprotected, small and weak. The moment you set your feet outside of the armor you cannot avoid belching and puking your stomach's contents, while wearing the armor its toxicity filters kept the disgusting smells away from your nostrils, but now that you are out you are forced to experience the abomination's innards in full. Not only are your surroundings absolutely disgusting and smelling like a rotten corpse, but also the humidity and strange airs around makes your skin squirm and feel itchy and wrong.

"Fuck... let's be quick, I cannot stay here like this." You tell Roa as he closes the armor and starts searching around. The AI nods and on your Pip-Boy's screen a list of useful items and where to find them appears.

Together you quickly gather everything he needs and with a great sense of relief you enter back into the Power-Armor. Despite being inside Roa continues taking control and after walking towards a partially destroyed workbench he starts guiding your body and proceeds to do wonders with the available materials. All of your Mini-Nukes are turned into time-bombs, several nearby Liberator Drones that were lying around are repaired and your Fat-Man is modified to be able to launch them at will. Every thing that he crafts is partially covered in blood or chunks of meat, but that's a given in here, where everywhere you look all you see is blood and gore.

"I... wait, I'm detecting something else, but its a very faint signal." Still taking control of your movements the AI guides you towards a wall made of spongy looking hairy flesh, to you it doesn't looks particularly special in any way. Roa grabs the two thermal cleaver and proceeds to cut open a way, the many hairs of the wall start to burn and heavily smoke. Under it and completely buried and half fused to even more flesh is a massive robot, a sentry bot of some kind.

"What is this?" You ask.

"No idea, the thing is dead, no CPU activity, but its Power reserves are still active. I'm going in."

The AI leaves your Power Armor and enters into the robot, its eyes quickly light up and he powers up, then using its new arms and limbs claws its way out. The robot is absolutely massive, it would have been almost as tall as Kunuiakea was before his transformation.

"Roa?" You ask, not fully knowing who's inside of the bot.

"Yeah, its me" He says with a much deeper voice. "I'm checking the robots data, apparently it was a prototype that was never fielded in battle. It is a new and upgraded type of Sentry Bot with designs based on Liberty Prime. What's Liberty Prime?"

"First the tank and now this?" You ask kind of dumbfounded.

"Well, the High Evolutionary controlled all of the island. Kunuiakea told you that his tribals in the jungle found the nuclear silos, it's not hard to believe that they might also have found military caches and other pre-war treasures, and Hawaii being so close to China must have been a military hotspot, having enemy technology and prototype weapons ready to be deployed isn't so far fetched."

"I guess you are right. Anyway how long has it been since we talked with Fusumi?"

"Around 40 minutes, we have to hurry up."

You grab several of the Mini-Nukes and hand the others to Roa. He walks towards the massive trachea like wind pipe that seemingly connects with a lung, you approach the massive ventricle that connects all of the gigantic hearts all together and using your thermal cleaver start cutting and cutting. The vein is absolutely thick and leathery even, it tries to resist your efforts but your weapons are simply too good.

"Ready?" You ask.

"Ready."

Together you put a two minute timer on the bombs and drop them. In your case the moment the enter the massive being they are quickly pushed by the bloody currents, in Roa's side the airway has such powerful currents that the bombs are simply sucked away.
>>
>>4820708

Just in case you two take cover behind a cancerous mound of hard teeth and nail like growths and wait until the detonation happens.

"Will this be enough to kill it?" You ask.

"Impossible to say. I'm not an expert in biology or physiology, I mean I'm only a week old, I didn't have the time to study all that much, but even I know that this creature makes no god damn sense. Multiple hearts each beating with its own rhythm, random guts, intestines, teeth, eyes, hair... by all fucking means this, whatever this monster is, should be dead! But it isn't only alive, but also actively moving and exerting itself. I'm glad I'm not an organic, y'all add some radiation or FEV into your bodies and suddenly stop making any sense. Fucking hell." He replies with a mixture of amusement and anger.

The two minutes pass and suddenly two of the seven gigantic interconnected hearts explode violently and send shards of the bone like plaques that were protecting them flying everywhere as if they where shrapnel, several sharp fragments land dangerously close to your location and become embedded on the fleshy floors, soon smoke and blood start to fill the area. On the outside the Kaiju starts to violently puke blood and smoke mixed with tar and with one of his massive and mutated claws starts clenching its own chest as it wails in pain and sends a scream that can be heard on every island of Hawaii.

"Go go go!" You scream as you get out of cover and start to run before this entire area becomes filled with blood. With a swift jump you plunge yourself in the massive vein and feel all of your body being violently pulled by the blood currents, Roa goes behind and together you are transported all the way up to the brain. In an instant you travel across the spine and float up to the monster's skull. Fortunately for you one of the Mini-Nukes that you sent beforehand took the same path that you are taking right now and when it detonated it partially severed the veins. The hole that it created makes you two fall inside of the monster's skull dome, had it not been damaged you two would have been directly transported inside of his brain.

The brain is much bigger than you expected, its the size of a two story house, it's kept suspended inside of the skull by hundreds of sticky flesh like strands. When the giant monster moves the brain moves inside of the skull, but never manages to touch the inner walls. It's protected from any form of damage.
>>
>>4820706
God damn. I'm glad Kunuiakea never got a chance to field this bad boy.
>>
>>4820709

To your horror you witness and see that the insides of the skull isn't empty, fused with the bone are all of Kunuiakea's most loyal children, including all of your "siblings", they have all been heavily mutated as well, they look far stronger than they used to be. They are directly connected to the giant monster by some strange fleshy tubes that connect their minds with their god's, their faces are those of pure bliss. You expected them to attack you but for whatever reason they don't even acknowledge your presence, perhaps they too can have some control over the giant monster and are instead seeing across the Kaiku's own eyes and witnessing all of the chaos and destruction that they are causing.

Shortly after the bone on over brain starts to melt and then from the other side Fusumi gracefully appears and softly lands. Fusumi gently floats down and respectfully bows at you.

"Kailani and Pukalani are safe. They are being transported to the Worker's Nest back to their mother." She tells you with her ethereal and crystalline sounding voice.

You are incredibly happy to know that you have managed to save your children, but they still are in danger, with this monster around they will never be truly safe.

Suddenly Dimitri, the shark looking Super-mutant sniffs the air and seems to detect a scent that irks him, he snaps back to reality and with a scream plucks out the strand that connected him to Kunuiakea's brain and looks at you two.

"BETRAYERS!" He screeches with an inhuman roar.

"Fusumi jump into the brain and do your thing! We will defend you!"

> Use your Fat-man to release as many Liberator bots as you can, and order Roa to defend Fusumi. She must be protected at all costs. Fight Dimitri on your own.
> Go big or go home, use your Thermal Cleavers to cut all of the strands that connect the Oni with the Kaiju's brain. This might make them snap back and fight you, but it might also make the Kaiju far clumsier and slower on the outside, and that might save thousands of lives in the long run.

As much as I want to shoot the liberators at him, he needs to go. Then afterwards we can create a secure perimeter of the little robot bullet guys. IG wall of guns style.

With each step that the Kaiju does the entirety of his skull heavily vibrates and trembles and his hanging brain violently moves in every direction. The brain and the mutants connected to it are heavily tethered to the skull with fleshy strands and gory tentacles, and thus easily endure the constant earthquake like shakes, but Roa and you aren't as lucky. You have to constantly fight to keep your balance, and avoid falling down, and its not like the Kaiju is merely walking and his movements are repetitive, and something that you can get used to, he's moving erratically from one direction to another, so you can never know when will happen, how intensely and in which direction the next shake come from.

You enemy doesn't suffers this disadvantage, he's part of the Kaiju now, he knows when it will walk and is thus always prepared and ready to keep his balance. Dimitri's body is different, he's now made of the same raw and gory flesh that composes the giant Kaiju that surrounds you. He hasn't been merely mutated, his body has been destroyed and rebuilt completely to become one with his God, he doesn't have skin anymore and his bulging inhuman anatomy and musculature are completely exposed and constantly bleeding but he doesn't seems to be in pain.

With an inhuman scream he dashes towards you, on his hand a massive anchor made of flesh and bone starts to grow and form. It looks like he hasn't been merely rebuilt by the Forced Evolutionary Virus, but has also gained new shape-shifting abilities as well. You have no time to study him, you load your last cannonball onto your broadsider and then prepare to shoot.

Just as the gory shark-man is about to reach you, you press the trigger and feel the cannon exploding once more. It's a direct hit, blood splatters everywhere, his body flies away and in mid-air explodes in half.

You think you have won, but then you hear a soft guffaw.

"HAHAHAH! WE ARE MANY, WE ARE ONE, YOU ARE NOTHING!"

The mutated demigod drags himself towards another super-mutant and and before you can stop him he proceeds to violently devour it. It isn't until more than half has been devoured that the devoured mutant apparently snaps back to reality and starts to scream. With every ounce of flesh that Dimitri consumes he recovers more and more, and soon he's back again, and even bigger and stronger than he was before.

> Jump on the brain and start cutting all of the strands that keep the organ suspended and protected from impact. Throw the brain to the ground and have it violently ricochet inside of its skull. Give the Kaiju the mother of all headaches.

Is Roa's Sentry Bot up here with us? It would be great if he could keep Dimitri busy.

Also, let's not forget that Fusumi is connected to the brain and cooking or ricocheting it could hurt her.

Set the laser gun to fully automatic and fire into Dimitri until he has to reassemble himself again. I don't think we can kill him, this only to delay him further. While he's taking to the time to rebuild just attempt to shoot all the strands holding the brain up. Don't matter if you miss the strands, you're still hitting the interior of the head.

I meant cutting strands and possibly ricocheting the brain. Since Fusumi is attached to it, the walls could crush her badly.

>>4821591
You're forgetting Fusumi is attached to the damn thing and the fact that as long as Kunuju has brain-to-spinal-cord connection, it can control the body, which means it can further cause destruction, fight back and we're gonna have to keep struggling against the trembling as it moves.

> Fighting while the Kaiju is constantly moving is going to be almost impossible. Ignore Dimitry and instead try to cut the veins that connect the brain to the spinal chord to paralyse the Kaiju and make it stop.

The gory mutant shark man jumps once more towards you. His anger is infinite, his intelligence not so much. He's too blinded by his own rage to understand that his attacks are too direct, too predictable. With a swift jump and a somersault you completely dodge his attack and immediately dash towards the stem that connects the Kaiju's skull with his spine.

Dimitri quickly changes his course and proceeds to once more charge you.

"Roa! Help me down there" You then scream. Fusumi has melted its way inside of the brain and is now squirming on its insides like a worm in a rotten apple, she will be safe. The giant robot jumps down from the brain and block's the Dimitri's charge attack. The two start violently duking it out, fists and earth shattering impacts are exchanged, pistons and hydraulic muscles clash against mutant muscles and reinforced bones. With each hit that they exchange the entire skull vibrates from the massive impacts.

As you run towards the spine you unholster your Thermal Cleavers and using your Tesla Gaunlets overload them, soon your forearms start spewing a deadly mixture of electricity and flames. Then you simply chop, chop and chopping until your Power armor is completely covered in a disgusting mixture of blood and spinal fluid.

On the outside the Kaiju suddenly stops on its tracks and violently falls to the ground. His descent is so fast and sudden that Roa, Dimitri and you experience no gravity for a few seconds. The brain violently bounces back and forth, several of the flesh strands that connect it even break down. Unfortunately despite being crippled and completely paralysed from the neck down his fall became softened by Hawaii's lush jungles, and even in this kind of state his body continues absorbing everything organic that it touches and using the acquired biomass to repair itself, soon the jungle it fell onto and every creature that got squished under it gets completely absorbed. Only mere seconds after snapping the monster's spine it starts automatically repairing itself, but what you did its still great, you bought the wasteland several minutes of precious time.
>>
>>4822704

You look back to Roa and see that Dimitri has managed to overpower it. Roa is far stronger and more resilient than Dimitri but he's also not used to the body he's inhabiting, the AI's movements are quite clumsy and his reactions sluggish, if you don't intervene he's going to die. You run to help your friend but as you stride you see the gory shark man raise its anchor made of bone and prepare itself to finish Roa off. Then, before it can strike your friend a set of tentacles suddenly surround Dimitri and proceed to tear it apart limb by limp and melt its flesh to the bone. Fusumi has appeared in the nick of time.

"I have bad news. Kunuiakea is attempting to reach the ocean, in the depths there are hundreds of sunken nuclear submarines, ghoul whales, mutant sharks and god knows what else. If he manages to go into the waters he will grow even more and become completely unstoppable."

"Fuck... have you got the nuclear codes at least?"

"Yes along with the location of each silo."

"Then let's get out of here, we can't do much more in here."

You nod and start thinking of ways to leave the Kaiju.

> The main problem is Roa, he isn't still used to his new body and you aren't sure if he could survive the fall from the top of the Kaiju's skull. You have your grappling-hook and Fusumi can float, work together to help Roa safely reach the ground. This option is the hardest but the fastest.

Fusumi glides towards the ceiling of the skull and with her caustic touch begins melting the bone and opening an exit. For the first time in what felt like an eternity you see the sun, you breathe fresh air, you are free. The three of you leave the interior of the Kaiju and witness around you a catastrophic world filled with chaos, countless of fires have formed around the jungles, dozens of crashed vertibirds scatter the island, laser and gun fire constantly surround and hit the downed giant monster.

Their efforts while brave and commendable are wasteful, nothing short of a dozen nukes will be able to kill him, and if he reaches the seas not even all of Hawaii's nukes will be enough. Without wasting any time you take your Fat-Man, load the Liberator shells and before the hole on the Kaiju's head closes shoot all of the robots inside and see them wreak havoc around the brain. They won't be powerful enough to do any real damage, but hopefully their constant harassing will slow down his recovery and buy you all even more minutes of precious time. Just as you shoot the last Liberator the hole in the skull closes.

Now wasting any time you grab your Radio and proceed searching for different channels, most of the airwaves are occupied by military broadcasts that urge the people to take shelter, others are groups of warriors coordinating each other and sending emergency reports, oddly enough Rainbow' Jack's Radio Shack is still playing music and rambling about having warned us and welcoming our new alien overlords. It takes you a while but after shuffling across the different channels and hearing dozens of help pleas and SOS broadcasts you finally hear Juniper's androgynous voice.

"Eagle One to Arrowhead Three. Arrowhead three, do you copy? Arrowhead three do you copy?... Fuck."

"Juniper, can you hear me?" You scream at the radio.

"...What? Diego, is that you? Holy shit! Your children are safe, we met Fusumi and she explained everything to us, tell her we are sorry for almost shooting her, on our defence she looks... well, doesn't matters."

Fusumi rolls her eyes and then snorts, she seems to like the pilot.

"We need a pick up, can you come get us?"

"Sure! Where are you?"

"Heh, the monsters' head."

Any other person would have taken you for a fool, for a madman, but Juniper knows best, Juniper knows what kind of troubles you end getting into. So she simply gives you the thumbs up and proceeds to fly a Vertibird into your location.

It takes the vehicle several long minutes to reach you, but the wait is totally worth it, you feel incredibly happy and relieved when you see Juniper alive and well. The vertibird he's flying has Brotherhood of Steel insignia on it and looks quite battered. JC and Maggot are nowhere to be seen, but perhaps they aren't present because with them around the Vertibird would be too heavy to fly.

"It's nice to see you boss! I knew you would make it!" He says with a thumbs up as the three of you mount inside. The vertibird despite being designed to be able to carry up to six Power-Armored individuals and having plently of space feels quite cramped here, Fusumi, Roa and you are all pretty big yourselves.

Slowly the vehicle starts to lift off and just as it gets airborne the Kaiju begins to wake up, in mere minutes it has healed what would have taken months if not years to a regular human.

"How are the others?" You ask.

"JC is working with the Brotherhood and the Enclave, acting as a neutral middleman of some sort. Maggot is on the ground looking for survivors in the areas where the Kaiju has been in. The guy is practically more rat than human, so he's good at finding people in ruins and other catastrophic areas. Have you got the codes?"

"Yeah, we got them. Fusumi has them."

"Good." The pilot says as he changes course. "Then we have to deliver the news to Smallwood and Morgan."

"Morgan?"

"Oscar Morgan, the leader of the Enclave around here."

"How is he?"

"Oh, a total piece of shit, douchebag through and through, but we need his firepower and armies, after all they still control Ohana."

The Vertibird flies towards a warship located on the coast, its the PMV Valdez, the Brotherhood seems to have noticed that the Kaiju was approaching the coast and put their vessel on their way and with all of its cannons aiming at the giant monster to stop it. Unfortunately the giant creature is too far away and out of range, so they can't still fire at him. A shame you didn't paralyse him when he was inside of range, if that had happened the warship could have fire salvo over salvo of missiles to the abomination and perhaps done real everlasting damage to it. Juniper lands and the four of you are quickly guided by Knights into a great hall where the war efforts are being monitored and coordinated.

In the room there is Smallwood, she looks like she has aged a decade in mere hours, there's also JC and a tall man wearing advanced Enclave Power Armor, he has to be Oscar Morgan. When the man sees you he scoffs.
>>
>>4823528

"You? Fucking hell, small world, I recognise you, you are the one who stopped our coup in Fallen Horizon, well doesn't matters now, we ended annexing the city and we have more pressing matters now." He says with a rough voice trashed by decades of heavy smoking.

"It's great to see you." JC says, he looks like he would love to stay and chat with you, but there are indeed more important stuff to do.

On a giant screen you see satellite footage of the path of destruction that the Kaiju has left behind. He's far closer to the coast than you expected.

"You have the codes?" Smallwood asks you.

You tilt your head towards Fusumi and see the Paladin's eyes darting towards her and then squinting with disgust, even in this situation where any help is required and wanted she can't ignore her hatred towards mutants, you can't see Morgan's face but you are sure that he is also repulsed by her.

Fusumi clearly sees their rude attitudes, but refuses to lower to their levels and instead keeps a cold head and simply starts spewing complex codes and coordinates. With each new code and coordinate that she gives the map on the screen gets updated. There are over a hundred silos with nukes ready to be launched.

"So, what are we waiting for?" Asks Roa.

"It's not so simple." Replies Smallwood. These silos have been abandoned and untouched for centuries, we don't know if they are still operative or not, perhaps they are too damaged to function. We have to send teams to check them out."

"Not only that." Intervenes Morgan. "We have to choose the detonation point."

"Detonation point?" You ask.

"We can either seal the silo doors and have the nukes explode underground or assure that they will open properly and won't damage the nuke on the way. An underground detonation would cause a massive earthquakes that would surely later wake up several of Hawaii's volcanoes. We expect the earthquakes to be big enough to swallow the Kaiju into the underground magma. The island would be completely destroyed but there wouldn't be a lot of radioactivity. Another possibility is to have them directly target him and detonate at impact, the island might survive the nuclear catastrophe, but what remains will be completely radioactive for millennia to come. Another chance is having a mixture of underground and airborne detonations, we don't know how that would fare."

> Go for the underground detonations. You have read about the Divide, you know how much damage underground nukes can do to a place. Erase the island of Hawaii from Earth's surface.
> Go for the airborne detonations, nothing on this world can survive a hundred direct nukes. Hawaii is already a wild and radioactive island that most people ignore anyway, turning it into an even more radioactive hellhole wouldn't change much.
> Go for the mixture of underground and airborne detonations, after all you can't never be too sure.

> Dillinger was an artist, and his custom T-45 was his Mona Lisa, not to mention the Nightstalker. What does Diego have?

Diego has a Tesla T-60 power armor, Tesla Gauntlets, Cosmic Knife, Uranium Glass Knife, Two Thermal Cleavers, Automatic incendiary Laser Pistol, A Broadsider & Fat-man

He has 5 companions: JC (Military Securitron), Juniper (Mysterious Pilot), Maggot (Crazed Raider) and Roa (AI inside a prototype Sentry Bot body)

We also have a bomber seaplane.

What is one family compared to literally singlehandedly turning the moon's declining birthrate around? Dillinger went from a shy gambler nerd to a god of death and fertility!
>>
>>4824187
For those of you wondering what are we talking about:

I reconnected with one of my old players. This quest, is a redux in a sense. I ran Fallout Nukaloha quest more than a year ago, but sadly I had to abruptly end it due to personal reasons.

Some time later I was back on my feet, and I tried running it again, this is my second attempt at running Fallout Nukaloha Quest.

Dillinger Rast, was the protagonist of the first quest, the dude was awesome, a gigachad. The first quest was... way crazier.

We travelled to the moon, somehow ended in Skyrim, used Dwarven tech to improve our Power Armor and a Soul Gem in our laser cannon... we had a fucking hovering rocket surfboard. Crazy stuff I tell you. It was cool.
>>
>>4824212
>What is one family compared to literally singlehandedly turning the moon's declining birthrate around? Dillinger went from a shy gambler nerd to a god of death and fertility!
Oh yeah, I forgot about that, we literally met a colony of people on the moon that had fucked up DNA and ended fucking so many of them that we literally repaired their gene-pool lmao. Shit was cash.
>>
>>4824215
it was pretty normal pre-moon saga. We've fought a hivemind and we are fighting a kaiju right now.
>>
>>4824215
>>4824221
And all because the Enclave decided to literally nuke our friends and waifu and dozens of orphans with Dillinger barely making it out alive and miraculously unghoulified.

Now that I think about it... I think you are the reason as of why I decided to run Fallout Nukaloha again.

I remember being bored at home, my life was back on its tracks, I was doing kinda good, better than before at least. And I thought to myself "Do people still speak about my quest?" so I entered into one of those weird pages that archive threads and searched for the word "Nukaloha"

And your post on the /qtg/ ranting about how I had edited and fucked up the character sheet popped up, and to my surprise it was a pretty recent message, only a couple of days old.

So I recovered the old Character Sheet... and that made me nostalgic. And one thing lead to another and ultimately I thought to myself, "why not run it again? Better this time, learning from the mistakes of the past." And well, that's where I am right now.

Thanks, friend.

>It's almost 2am, and the bottle of wine I consumed is making me mighty sleepy. Buenas noches hermano, and greetings from Finland.
Good night my friend! The only Finnish word I know is "Suomi Perkele" and I'm not a hundred percent sure what it means, so sorry if it's an insult lmao.

Also if you can try to keep up with the reading and the archived threads, Dillinger will appear in the next update.

>The only Finnish word I know is "Suomi Perkele" and I'm not a hundred percent sure what it means, so sorry if it's an insult lmao.
That's a phrase, not a word. Let me break it down for you: Suomi is literally just Finland in Finnish, and Perkele is a mild swearword with pagan roots, referring to the god of thunder, Perkele, a.k.a Thor. It isn't insulting in the slightest, in fact most people find this kinda stuff endearing.

But now I'm off to bed for real, gotta salvage my circadian rhythm at least to some extent.

> Go for the airborne detonations, nothing on this world can survive a hundred direct nukes. Hawaii is already a wild and radioactive island that most people ignore anyway, turning it into an even more radioactive hellhole wouldn't change much.

"I think that the airborne detonations are the best options." You start to speak. "Hawaii is pretty volcanic as it is, if we detonate the nukes underground we could cause earthquakes, tsunamis and reactivate volcanoes that have been dormant for centuries, we might not only end destroying the island of Hawaii, but most of the archipelago as well."

"Yeah, I agree." Adds Smallwood nodding softly.

Morgan simply shrugs, he doesn't gives a crap if all of Hawaii gets destroyed as long as his soldiers survive, american patriotism my ass, these guys just care about their own.

"We will make teams and prepare Vertibirds to fly to the different silos." The Paladin then continues. "Everybody will have the same mission; clean the silo from hostiles and secure the area, then assure that the blast doors aren't damaged and that the nuke can be launched. Normally the nukes are activated and fired from the silos themselves but each silo will require not only the password that she gave us, but also a set of keys, we don't have the time to create or find these keys so my team of scribes is working and cooperating with Enclave Scientists and other intelligent minds of the wasteland to find a way of launching all the nukes via radio signal from here, the Valdez. We will launch them from the ship to be able to be at a safe distance and avoid any damage or harmful radiation. Any questions?"

You shake your head and see that nobody else has questions, so everybody gets dismissed. Smallwood looks extremely stressed and tired, the interior of the ship is pandemonium, Knights and Scribes run from one side to another transporting medicines and helping where they can. The Enclave no doubt is taking advantage of all this chaos to spy on the Brotherhood or even perhaps sabotage them, and on top of that the ship is way over capacity, its rooms have been filled with wounded people and it has recently reached the point where the patients are starting to get piled in the corridors and the dead are unceremoniously dropped from the deck into the waters to make more space.

JC, despite being a robot seems stressed as well, it's hard to imagine the kind of hell he must have been through, each one of you has gone across a hell on itself. You

"Are you alright buddy?" You ask.

"Yeah, just... I don't know how to feel. I don't want to look at the giant monster, when I do every sensor and warning software inside of me goes crazy. Every bit of code inside of me is screaming that we cannot survive that thing... it's so..."

"Despairing?"

"I guess? I know what despair means, I have an entire dictionary full of words stored inside of my memory. To me when it comes to emotions I know what they mean, but at the same time they are nothing but mere strings of letters, it isn't until I fully live and experience them that I can truly understand their significance... Until yesterday to me simply meant: to lose hope; be without hope... but know I know what hope and what the lack of it is."

It's weird seeing a robot like him feeling so down, specially one that you know that its always cheerful and down to fight whatever gets on his path.

"Sorry for interrupting your conversation." Smallwood says. "But Roa has told us what you two have done inside of the giant monster. Perhaps it was impossible to perceive from the inside, but your internal attacks have done far more damage than all of our combined soldiers and vertibirds could do. Roa has agreed to be repaired by our scribes, Diego, do you need medical attention or somewhere to rest? Perhaps a checkup of your gear? I know that the ship is crowded and over capacity now, but I can arrange a private room if you need it. The teams and the birds will be ready in around an hour, so you have time."

Couple thoughts: can the scribes upgrade roa a bit with some combat tutorials so it isn't so useless in the sentry armor?

Also, Smallwood said we caused way more damage from the inside of the kaiju. Is it possible to send us back in there, but this time with a team of BOS and Enclave commandos and really lobotomize this fucker? We could keep the nuke launch as a last resort but it would be nice to avoid destroying everything.
>>
>>4825682
>Couple thoughts: can the scribes upgrade roa a bit with some combat tutorials so it isn't so useless in the sentry armor?
Yes, good idea. Roa will download schematics and other information about Sentry Bots and gain more control of his body.

>Also, Smallwood said we caused way more damage from the inside of the kaiju. Is it possible to send us back in there, but this time with a team of BOS and Enclave commandos and really lobotomize this fucker?
Well, that's a possibility yes, but the Brotherhood and the Enclave aren't going to put all of their eggs in a single basket.

If you want we can go into the Kaiju and start breaking shit, but know that in the meanwhile other teams will be securing silos and such, and that if we don't manage to kill the Kaiju before a certain time the nukes will be launched and we will be completely atomised.

Don't expect many Brotherhood and Enclave personnel willing to go in a near suicide mission like that.

We should keep an eye on our armor if we get out of it. Don't want BoS/Enclave to put spyware on us in all the chaos.
Actually can we ask Roa to run diagnostics and index all the hardware/software so in the future we can easily check if someone tinkered with it?
>>
>>4826091
So far Dill just sounds like a different version of Diego. We have more cybernetics at this point and custom-upgraded/software-modified Tesla PA sprayed with Glow Sap to make it lighter. Used the fall-negation to jump on the floating radioactive hippy island. I also considered doing the same when we exited Kaiju's skull, but we'd have to deal with the bitch chasing us and get on plane eventually anyways.
Jumping without fall damage is better than Jet.
>>
>>4826252
In its current state Diego's T-60 pales in comparison to Dill's T-45 at it's peak, but I won't spoil the surprise until I get the chance to continue writing up more of the summary tomorrow, maybe later today if I'm lucky. And who knows, maybe Diego will get even crazier gadgets on his PA. Maybe his Plane will become more batshit insane and stupidly OP than Dill's assault boat. All I know is that Dill was very smart (to the point of auto-succeeding every science/Int check) and very, very angry. But that raises questions about what this iteration's Dill is like, since I assume the rustfields massacre never happened in this timeline. Is he just a goofy stoner and occasional mad scientist?

Wait, I think I haven't explained myself properly.

Dill appears in the first thread as an easter egg of some sort, he's just a regular man, speaks for a while with Diego and that's it. People thought that it was a different Dillinger, not as cool as the MC of the original Fallout Nukaloha Quest.

What I mean, is that when he appears again, and trust me will, he will have the same stats and equipment of the original Dill from the quest. The Memento Mori, the dendrites, the weapons, everything.

> Ask Roa to run diagnostics and index all the hardware/software so in the future we can easily check if someone tinkered with it?

To be honest you are feeling pretty bad, you barely had any time to rest and you have been tortured and fighting nonstop for almost an entire week by now. A medical checkup will do you wonders, who knows what kind of nasty stuff have you gotten while inside of Kunuiakea.

"I will take that offer and let a Doctor see me. I'm feeling terrible."

Smallwood nods and then smiles weakly. "We all do."

With a tilt of the head she orders you to follow her and quietly guides you towards an infirmary, a real infirmary and not a regular room that had been filled with hospital beds and barely trained nurses and doctors. Every few steps you can see people literally dying, some going into flatlines, other being put inside of body bags.

"Has the Kaiju done all of this?" You ask.

"No. Many of the local tribes and raider gangs think that the Kaiju is their god, so they are actively fighting the ground forces that we have deployed, other groups instead run towards it and let themselves be consumed. Either way our people get killed and the Kaiju gets healed. This is a massacre. Our mission was to stop this kind of things from happening, and we failed miserably. The Brotherhood is far from perfect, it has had many dark chapters over his history, from civil wars to murderous elders... but nothing anything like this. Maxson would be so ashamed of us, we are a complete disgrace."

Just as she ends saying this she starts to cry and softly shaking her head. Her entire life she has been told that uncontrolled technology is dangerous, and now people are dying left and right, she clearly feels guilty of not having stopped it beforehand.

The Hawaiian chapter of the Brotherhood has always been small, they had no territories of their own and were isolated to their ship, and because of that they had to control their population and surely even enforced abortions and perhaps even sterilisations to ensure that the growth didn't go out of control. After this massacre their total population might end in the dozens, they perhaps might even end being too few to rebuild.
>>
>>4826451

Smallwood indicates you how to reach the infirmary and leaves without a word, she needs to be alone. On your way you cross paths with Proctor Malone, he moves hurriedly and looks stressed and sickly, he doesn't recognises you

You reach the infirmary and knock the door, the place smells of death and pungent chemicals, it looks like it originally was a doctor's office but the place has now been turned into a makeshift surgery room of some kind. On what once was the doctor's desk now lies a dirty and bloody tarp surrounded by medical instruments and machinery. In one corner you can see three corpses in body bags piled up, in another you can see an exhausted and asleep doctor covered in both old and fresh blood and with one lit cigar on her lips.

She looks extremely tired, the ash has piled on her scrubs, and judging by her smudged makeup she has been crying quite a lot. You would love to let her sleep, but you really need to be checked. Carefully and trying to be gentle you shake her shoulders and slowly she wakes up, her eyes are bloodshot from crying, she looks at you confused.

"Uh...?" She mutters with a rough and raspy voice, clearly broken from screaming and crying.

"Elder Smallwood has sent me for a medical checkup."

The doctor grunts and nods, then with a pained moan stands up and lits another cigar.

"Out of the armor, stripe completely and lie on the desk."

You do as she asks, in the meanwhile she starts preparing some machinery. The desk creaks under your massive weight, but it holds, you can feel the grimy and cold blood from past patients touching your skin, but you keep quiet, the poor doctor is already doing too much, nagging won't help at all.

With a scanner she analyses your body and then after a while the machine spews the results.

"Holy molly," She then says as she reads the paper. "You are a fucking mess. Perhaps we should let the monster eat you, you might end giving him a stomachache. According to the scanner you have minor radiation poisoning, Blood Worms, Parasites, Glowpox, Swamp-rads... and Dysentery. Along a list of other bacteria, virii and infections that the machine can't even recognise."

The doctor then rummages around and puts on a Gas Mask. "Just in case."

"Will I die?" You ask, surprised to know how diseased you are.

"That's the thing, you should be dead. But things don't make much sense anymore. So all I can recommend is for you to rest properly, eat chicken soup, drink clean water, take a couple of Stimpaks and simply live with it. Right now I cannot do much more, we are short of pretty much every medicine."
>>
>>4826452

Suddenly you remember how in the beginning of your Adventure aurore gave you a special medicine before you left the Rust-Bucket, rummaging across your deep pockets you finally find it.

"What's that?" The Doctor asks.

"A friend of mine gave me this, she told me that it cures pretty much everything."

"A placebo then, good to know. Take it if you want, but know that it's surely just water mixed with oil or some other useless ingredient."

You take some offence to this, Aurore might not be human, but she was a really nice person, she wouldn't give you a mere placebo.

"Wanna bet?" You ask.

The Doctor rolls her eyes, grabs the medicine and puts in in a strange machine that quickly starts to analyse it. The results are printed and when the Doctor reads it her eyes go wide.

"What, is it bad?" You ask, seeing that the paper is full of medical terms that barely mean anything to you.

"No, whoever made this was a genius, it doesn't cures everything of course, but its as close as it can get. The ingredients to make this are pretty rare, but I think we might have enough of it. I need to talk with the others and start making more of this as soon as we can." The Doctor then says as she grabs your medicine and proceeds to run with it.

"Wait, what about me, would it cure me?"

The Doctor stops on her tracks. "Well yes, but we need this sample to make more. With it our patients will have much more chances of surviving."

"How long will it take until you make more of it." You ask, kind of annoyed.

"I don't know, this is all very sudden, but at least a day."

"I don't have a day, I have a mission in a couple of hours."

> Let her take the sample and more medicine. Go into the mission while diseased and feeling like shit.
> Take your medicine and drink it up. You have the priority. If your mission fails nobody will be alive anyway.
> Agree to take half of the medicine, a watered down version of it. Let her take the rest to do more medicine. With only half the Doctor will need more time to make as many doses, and you won't be fully cured.

Rant ahead.
Fuck the Brotherhood and their "we must copy your tech", "let us analyze and reuse your substances (you should've died, fuck you)" and "please allow Elder Smallwood to extract your semen through intercourse so we can copy your DNA" shit.
If we don't survive this, every single one of those metal-clad megafaggots will be fucking dead. And the entire world, probably.

Yeah, I planned to do the next votes after this. I'm talking about these:

- Grab whiskey, maybe some snacks, and go to the deck, sit down, relax, watch the show.
- We should keep an eye on our armor if we get out of it. Don't want BoS/Enclave to put spyware on us in all the chaos.
- Ask Roa to run diagnostics and index all the hardware/software so in the future we can easily check if someone tinkered with it?

>>4826453
> Take your medicine and drink it up. You have the priority. If your mission fails nobody will be alive anyway.

You quickly stand up and still naked stride towards her, despite being out of the armor you are undoubtedly still far stronger than she is. She sees your intents and desperately clutches to the vial full of medicine and attempts to run away but ultimately it's clear how this will end, there's nothing that her frail and tired body can do against your enraged mutated muscles.

"But...but think of the lives we will save!" She screams as you come closer. "We will be able to make more medicine, think of how many lives the Brotherhood will save!"

"No! Fuck you! Fuck the Brotherhood! Fuck Smallwood! And fuck the Wasteland! The Brotherhood has mistreated me over and over and I'm tired of it! You say you will save lives and then what? You will keep that medicine for yourselves! In less than an hour I'll be in a fucking Vertibird, a fucking metal coffin and flying into what possibly is a suicide mission and I will be doing my god damn best to stop that giant moster! And I will do that because it's what needs to be done! You are a fucking doctor, don't you have to do an oath or some shit like that? I bet that if a wounded Ghoul or a Super-Mutant asked you for help you would reject them without a second thought. Fuck this, I need to be in the best condition."

As you finish your rant you violently shove her and take the medicine from her hands and quickly chug it down. It tastes terrible, but it feels great.

"You have the list of ingredients right?"

"Y-yeah, but knowing only the ingredients isn't enough, we need to know how and when to mix them and if heating is needed what kind of temperatures to use, and... there are a lot of variables!"

"Thought luck." You say as you finish it all and chuck her the empty vial, which she hurriedly grabs and examines, there are still a couple of drops in there.
>>
>>4827159

After saying this you check up your armor and see if it has been bugged or altered in any way, it might have been manipulated by the Brotherhood while you were being scanned, after all, you know that they would love to get their grubby hands into a piece of advanced and rare technology like this and that their holier than thou attitude and mentality would make them do pretty much anything to achieve such a thing. Fortunately for you the armor seems to have been untouched, the Brotherhood are too busy working on finding a method to activate and launch all of the nukes remotely, and such as much as they would like to they can't spare scribes and agents to do something like altering your gear.

- Ask Roa to run diagnostics and index all the hardware/software so in the future we can easily check if someone tinkered with it?
In fact, thinking about the Brotherhood manipulating and stealing your tech gives you an idea, why not do it yourself, after all right now they are at their darkest and weakest moment, and they are spread too thin and unable to stop such a thing.

"Roa, you hear me?" You whisper to your Power-Armor's internal radio as you leave the clinic, feeling better and better by the second.

"Yes, I'm here. Are you alright?"

"Yeah, you are connected to the Brotherhood's database right?"

"Correct."
>>
>>4827162

"Well, you don't know much of the Brotherhood right? You have barely meet them, let me enlighten you. They are a group of technology fetishists that believe that only they should be allowed to have advanced technology and scientific knowledge, to them the rest of the world is too stupid and ignorant, and cannot be trusted. They steal and hoard as much as they can't and don't share with the wasteland, even if that technology or knowledge would have done wonders or saved lives. What they can't get the violently steal, what they can't violently steal, they destroy. They were at war once with my home country, the NCR. The Brotherhood had taken control of many pre-war bunkers and when they saw that they were going to lose them they always activated the self destruct measures and let everything be destroyed. To them is better if technology that cannot be replicated anymore and invaluable unique knowledge gets destroyed rather than having it fall on other hands. Try to get as much of their knowledge and data as you can, whatever they have in their mainframes and data banks will be incredibly valuable and do much good to the wasteland. Is time they get a taste of their own medicine."

"Heh, will do boss, will do."

With this said and done you walk around and search for something to snack on. It takes you a while but ultimately you manage to find some slightly rancid and stale Fancy-Lad Snack Cakes, a pack of San Francisco Sunlights and an opened bottle of Whiskey. With all of that under your arm you walk to the surface and from there sit on the edge of the deck, remove your helmet and let the cold sea breeze hit your face and blow your reddish hair while you look at the coast and see the massively giant Kaiju slowly rising in the distance, all the damage done to its body already recovered.

Time goes on as you see the island of Hawaii continue burning, the giant Kaiju slowly drag itself towards the coast and dozens of Vertibirds do their best at stopping the unstoppable. You eat, drink, cry and laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation, you haven't really saved your children's lives, you have only delayed the inevitable.

Just as you empty the whiskey and chuck the empty bottle at the sea Roa contacts you again.

"Hey, Smallwood has contacted me. We are to meet in the same war room as before in ten minutes. I downloaded as much information as I could, a little bit of everything, you were right, these people have all kind of information, from the manufacturing of plasma weapons to advanced irrigation."

"Good job friend, I'm sure that all of this data will be useful for our people. Meet you in the war room."

You stand up, spit into the ocean, get out of your Power-armor, piss in Hawaii's radioactive waters and then once you are back in the armor go to that war room. The room is crowded with people, Smallwood is in the back, she looks at you and seems angry at your arrival, clearly she has been told of what you did in the infirmary, perhaps she even knows of Roa's intrusion on their databases, luckily for you right now she has more urgent things to care about.

"We have made the teams and prepared the Vertibirds." She starts to speak. "Each team will be composed of two captains, five wastelander volunteers, two assaultrons, two Knights or Enclave agents and a scribe. Every one of you in here will be considered a Captain and will have complete rule over the rest, regardless of affiliation..."

The paladin then looks at the Enclave leader and sighs. "I promise to you that my Knights will obey your people's orders."

"Good." Morgan simply replies, quite smugly.

It's obvious that Smallwood was expecting for him to reply with something similar, with the assurance that his soldiers will also obey the Brotherhood's orders, but he won't give him such a pleasure. Smallwood rolls her eyes and sighs loudly.

"Captains, you can pair up with anyone you see fit."

Among the Captains you see several of your friends, and even some that you haven't seen in a long time. Who will you pair with?

> Pair up with Roa
> Pair up with Juniper
> Pair up with JC
> Pair up with Dillinger Rast
> Pair up Roy Meechan
>>
>>4827169
Spicy update.
> Pair up with Dillinger Rast
or
> Pair up with Roy Meechan
Roy would make for the best captain, given that he's a skilled mercenary leader, while Rast's weaponized autism would help us once we reach the nuke silo/s.
I remain split between the two.

Gotta say tho, it's a pretty unbalanced choice with there being 3 frens, 1 old MC and 1 guy we barely know who has actual expertise.
>>
>>4827215
Yeah, it was hard to choose which people to include there. Smallwood was originally going to be an option as well but I knew that nobody would vote for her lmao.
>>
>>4827169
OH FUCK!

I forgot! Fusumi was going to be an option as well!

> Pair up with Fusumi
>>
>>4827169
> Pair up with Dillinger Rast
Alright, I'll do it for old times sake. Roa or Jun can pair with Fusumi in our place
>>
>>4827169

>>
>>4827169
> Pair up with Dillinger Rast

Make sure Roa and Fusumi are paired together. Then we all launch and our teams go rogue and go into the kaiju brain to destroy it once and for all.

The other teams go to prepare the nukes in case we fail. But if we succeed we will kill the kaiju and save Hawaii and frankly the rest of the islands from the fallout of hundreds of nukes.

And this is Diego and motherfucking Dillinger. It's our destiny to go out in a blaze of glory or succeed and be big goddamn heroes!

(And we should make sure we have our motorbike and surfboard so that we can all fly out of the Kaiju's asshole once we are done)
>>
>>4827169
>>4827431
>>4827745
Wait, so can others match with each other? I thought that them being captains means they will lead their own group for some reason, and we can only join one of em.
>>
>>4827900
I think you're right but we should just say that Roa and Fusumi have a special connection so they should be together rather than lead separately. Also both of them are kind of newbies so they shouldn't be leading on their own I think.
>>
>>4827911
A made up magical connection between a sentient Sentry Bot and Fusumi is not enough to change Brotherhood's and Enclave's orders.
Also Roa is worth more than a hundred fleshbags and Fusumi is one of the deadliest individuals in this room.
>>
>>4827925

Re-read it just now. Two captains on one team, no problem.

Thanks, I sometimes lose my ability to fish the info out of text completely.

>>4827169
Gonna change (>>4827215) to
> Pair up with Juniper
Now, hear me out alright. I think that Diego, Rast and Roa should go on separate teams because they are the most suited for the job of unfucking the Silos. This way we will get the best success rate.
>>
>>4827940
I hear you but no love for >>4827745?

I like the idea of avoiding nuking the shit out of Hawaii.
>>
>>4827958
Anon... we already gave those schizos the codes, and idk how could we possibly kill this thing if it healed its motherfucking spinal cord in a matter of minutes/hours. We need to destroy it's giantic brain before it reaches the ocean.
>>
>>4827962
We caused a lot of damage with just ourselves and Roa. Imagine two full teams plus Dillinger in there; we destroy the brain completely and there's nothing to heal. Actually we should probably see if the scribes can whip us up a suitcase nuke.
>>
>>4827462
>If this is THE Dill;
He's the Dill.

> 1. how did he become the Rustfields Revenant in this timeline
He didn't. My headcanon is that his timeline was doomed (because I couldn't keep up with the quest), it was impossible for him to save the world. So with a mixture of zetan and human technology with some magic taken from the soul stone he managed to build a portal that let him enter into this dimension.

In this dimension the Brotherhood aren't controlled by the Enclave, and things are slightly different. He stayed with Saltgut and lived a life of tranquility, but kept his weapons and Power-Armor just in case they were needed at some point.

And they are needed right now.

> 2. H9W DO THESE ENCLAVE FAGGOTS HAVE THEIR HEADS STILL ATTACHED TO THEIR SHOULDERS
He preferred to have a relaxed and peaceful life, so he kept away from the Enclave. Besides if he had destroyed them then the Brotherhood or someone even worse would have filled the void.
>>
>>4828015
In fact, now that I think it... Dillinger was in the same plane as we were in the first thread, but in this timeline he didn't survive, he drowned. So his corpse is either floating somewhere or has been already eaten by the sharks.
>>
>>4828032
Definitely gone by now.
I wonder how he feels about it.

> Pair up with Dillinger Rast

It's clear that the Brotherhood expects this mission to be very dangerous, to have a high mortality rate and a very low success chance... That's why they chose to go with two leaders instead of only one, in case one of the Captains died there would be still another one to guide the soldiers.

People start to pair up, a few ones find their partner pretty quickly, others look like they will take slightly longer. Among the many chosen people to pair up with you see a familiar face, a person that you hadn't seen in months.

"Dillinger was it?" You say as you walk to the Power-armored man.

His T-45 Power armor looks like it has been heavily modified, it's painted black and with a skeletal paintjob and decorated all kinds of mementos of his adventures and accentuated with brass and gold like metallic accesories. Several robotic like tentacles come from the armor's back, each tentacle is either ended on a weapon or a precision tool. Hanging from his hip there are a couple of powerful looking Laser Weapons as well. You never thought that he would be so powerful, he looks like one of the strongest persons around. You would love to go with Fusumi, JC, Juniper or Roa, but these are your close friends, seeing them die would absolutely demolish you. Pairing with Dillinger seems like the best idea.

"That's right. You are Diego right?" The suave man says with a sly smile as he nods.

"Yeah. You too are an outsider if I'm not wrong? Man what are the odds."

"Heh, yeah, what are the odds right." The man nervously replies. "Anyway, wanna pair up? I barely know anybody 'round here, so I don't care who to pair with."
>>
>>4828093

You nod and then see everybody else pairing up. JC pairs with Juniper, Fusumi pairs with Roa. There are fifteen teams in total, each is given a designation, yours is "Sigma", then each team is sent to their Vertibirds where their soldiers are already waiting. All is done very quick and hastily, there are no time for goodbyes.

The Vertibird you all get in strains from all of your combined weights, it has been packed to the brim with people and to make it airborne it has been extensively modified and emptied of ammunition, stripped of armor and weapons and filled only with the bare minimum fuel to make it as light as possible. The Knights inside seem nervous, the volunteer wastelander soldiers even more, some are praying, others are trembling, one pisses itself.

Slowly the machine starts to ascend into the skies, all around more and more Vertibirds being warming up their engines and going into the skies. Once you are up in the air you look down and see most of Hawaii already destroyed. It's easy to see the Kaiju's path, he leaves behind a blackened trail devoid of all life, it's hard to say if something will ever grow on it again. He's halfway through the jungle and worryingly close to the ocean.

As you approach the bunker where the silo is located several automated defences activate, several missiles and rockets begin flying in your direction, the pilot screams and pulls the Vertibird out of the way and barely manages to avoid them.

"What the fuck is going on?" You ask to the pilot.

"What do you think?" She screams back. "A dozen military vehicles without US Army verification codes flying all at once towards different bunkers. It must have triggered the defence systems. Every singe robot and turret inside of the bunker will be active and hostile now."

In the distance you see a couple of Vertibirds exploding in mid air.

> Dillinger and you have Power-Armors that will negate fall damage. Jump down and let the Vertibird fly somewhere safe. Kill as many enemies as possible while the rest of the team reunites with you.

> Dillinger and you have Power-Armors that will negate fall damage. Jump down and let the Vertibird fly somewhere safe. Kill as many enemies as possible while the rest of the team reunites with you.

More and more missiles start to fly dangerously close to the Vertibird, the pilot as skilled as she is has trouble to dodge and avoid them, the vehicle has been heavily modified, is almost completely at full weight capacity and its flying with an almost empty deposit. Countless of red lights and warning alarms lit up in her controls.

"We have to jump." You say to Dillinger.

"Yeah!" He replies while nodding. "We are the heaviest ones around here, and we can take the fall. Without our combined weight she will be able to fly much better. Alright Freebird jumping in 3...2...1!"

Dill jumps down and the moment he lifts off the entirety of the Vertibird shakes down. You too follow him close and without a second thought launch yourself into the air. As you fall dozens of missiles pass flying next to you, whistling in the air as they leave behind a trail of fire and flames.

The fall is fast and your combined crash lands shake the entirety of the ground and even topple down several palm trees. Your meteoric landfall is so intense that all around you entire swarms of startled mutant parrots and rad bats start to fly in every direction while screaming bloody murder.
>>
>>4829100

Dill immediately stands up and proceeds to run towards the missile emplacements, with a grunt you run behind him and soon reach the bunker's entrance. Until today the the place had been completely covered by vegetation and moss but due to the sudden activation of the defences many robots and turrets have been reactivated and are now flooding the area. Without a word Dillinger grabs his heavily modified Laser Cannon and opens fire. You have never seen a weapon like this before, it's clearly makeshift and apparently powered by a strange crystal that sits on top of it, the moment Dillinger presses the trigger the crystal on the weapon stars glowing with a teal light and the weapon's cannon commences to start glowing with a red light, it fully charges in a matter of seconds and when your companion releases the trigger a massive blast of pure laser energy emerge's from the cannon's barrel and easily destroys most of the missile emplacements and robots that were stationed there.

"What the fuck." You whisper in awe.

In the distance you witness the Vertibird making a landfall in one piece, in the air above you several missiles self destruct now that their target is out of their reach.

"I need to reload!" Dillinger then screams at you as he takes cover and switches to his laser pistol.

You didn't have the time to restock your weapons before coming here, you have no Mini-Nukes, no Liberator Drones, No Cannonballs, and barely any Energy Cells for your Laser Pistol. It looks like you will have to fight the remaining robots in hand to hand combat.

> Take cover next to Dillinger and use your Laser Gun with him.

> Use a mixture of your Grappling Hook and your Thermal Cleavers to pick the remaining robots one by one

Time hasn't been fair with this place, it hasn't only been completely engulfed by nature but also made one with it. The missile turrets and robots are all covered with strange moss, weeds and colorful flowers, leaves and mushrooms of all sizes and shapes. The vegetaion isn't only covering their metallic bodies, it has become one with them, reinforced their frames with thick vines and bark like skin. Radiation, mutant spores and more than two centuries have created an abominable mixture of plant and machine. They would be fascinating to study and analyse, if they weren't trying to kill you.

From the bunker's entrance more and more robots pour out, mostly Protectrons and Eyebots, but also a couple of Assaultrons. You haven't seen many Assaultrons before, lucky they aren't prominent in California or its surrounding territories, but you have heard how terrifying and dangerous they can be.

One of the feminine looking robots dashes and lunges towards you with its arms spinning wildly and sending glowing sparks everywhere as its laser eye begins charging up with ionic particles and emitting powerful electric arcs. You jump from cover and start running avoiding laser fire. You raise your grappling hook and let the VATS system guide your arm and choose where to shoot. The metallic spear like projectile suddenly flies away and impacts on the incoming Assaultron's head, piercing it completely. With a scream you grab the hook's metallic wire and using your Tesla Gauntlets electrify the wire. Once the electricity reaches the robot it starts to glitch out and move erratically, sparks start to come out of it and soon it catches on fire. For some reason it's head Laser doesn't stops charging, if anything it starts charging even more to the point of critical mass and sudden violent reaction.

*BOOM!*

The Assaultron's head explodes sending laser blasts flying in every direction that create several fires and kill a few of the nearby robots.
>>
>>4830661

You retract the Hook and see that the tip is burned out and slightly melted, but otherwise in pretty good condition. From behind the second Assaultron attacks you, Dillinger stops the robot from gutting you out in the last second with a couple of well aimed laser blasts. You thank him and kick the robot away from you, it's sword like arms have been destroyed, but it still has its powerful laser eye. Like the other Assaultron this one also starts charging up.

With your Thermal Cleavers you chop and chop until its legs are completely crippled and then with a grunt raise it from the floor and with a scream you decapitate and pull out the robots head from its chest and aim it towards the few remaining robots, then with your Tesla Gaunlets overcharge the shit out of it. The laser Blast that comes out is absolutely massive and easily pulverises every remaining enemy. As a final touch and before the head explodes you drop it and before it touches the floor punt it with all of your might and see it detonate in mid air.

Soon nothing but smoking cinders and charred robot parts remain, along with several new fires. Dillinger gets out of cover and pats your shoulder.

"You did well." He says.

"Heh, thanks. Nice cannon by the way, a shame it takes so long to reload."

"Oh no, I reloaded it a few minutes ago, I just wanted to see you fight and fend yourself on your own."

You smirk and nod, he saved your life so you aren't even mad.

Sorry it took so long to continue, been busy with setting up my next year of studies as well as my side hustle. Also forgot to mention that the first time Dill got spun on Nukaloha, aboard the rustbucket he made a v12 powered rocket surf/hoverboard, which got destroyed in battle shortly after, which is why the hoverbike was born. Also should I start namefagging since I switch between devices and networks very often meaning that ID's don't stick for long for me?
>>
>>4830870
You've got a lot of things mixed up, like the heist was before Rainbow Jack's island, before that mission we were called Rookie then they asked us for a codename, Saltgut gave us his hat early in Lanai, the second Nukaloha gave us the Rocket Bike, the Pono Company Ai is called Thunderbird but I don't remember anything else but it was in the heist, before the heist was when we turned our Wattz 2000 into the laser cannon, which we got from pirates in the treasurr battle which is also where we got our Tesla Gauntlets and I think also our guitar, the surfboard was destroyed in the Rustfields... Thats just what I can remember without looking at the archives. But I don't blame you for not getting everything right. And about the name, I think we can all recognize you already but do it if you want.

> Smallwood told you that tribals and raiders are defending the Kaiju, perhaps they might try attacking. Let the rest of the soldiers defending the bunker and enter with Dillinger.

You look at the soldiers coming from the jungle and sigh. There are a couple of Knights from the Brotherhood, despite of their rank they haven't been given Power-Armors and are still wearing their orange uniforms, they are newbies that have been hastily ascended to the ranks of Knights to fill the voids that the deceased veterans left. All the Power-Armored Knights are either defending the Valdez or in the ground fighting against the Kaiju. Next to them there are five wastelander volunteers, a couple of them look like Ohanan ex-military, they have old military gear not very different from NCR armor and weapons, the rest are clearly mere wastelanders that have volunteered to fight, they are wearing makeshift armors and centuries old weapons. Lastly there are a couple of Assaultron robots, pretty average looking.

It looks like you two can handle yourselves pretty well, whereas the rest of your platoon, especially the wastelander volunteers, all look kind of green and weak. There have been too many deaths already, it's clear that what you two fought was nothing but a taste of what awaits on the inside. You are about to enter the wolf's mouth, a nuclear silo in Defcon 1 situation, all while a giant giant monster roams around. Few places in the wasteland will be as dangerous as this deathtrap, the rest have little to no chances of surviving if they go in... they will be better on the outside.

"Everybody stay here and guard the door." You start to speak. "Be wary of any raiders, tribals or critters that might come from the jungle. If we don't come out in an hour then return to the Vertibird and report us as killed in action. Understood?"

They all nod, including Dillinger.

Soon enough they start to build a perimeter around the bunker's entrance and even go as far as using the nearby fallen trees and killed robots to build makeshift defences.

Dillinger nods at you and tilts his head towards the entrance. "So!" He then says. "We can do this both ways, loud or quietly. The defences are already active so its not like we can sneak our way in, but if we go guns blazing all of the bots might jump at us all at once. Time is not on our side, so, what do you choose?"

> We will go fast and loud, running down and gunning whatever or whoever gets in our path. If all of the bunker's robots come together then so be it.

If the enemy swarms us from all directions it only means that it'll be impossible for us to miss them! That and possible electrified grappling hook shenanigans. Does Dill have his jump pack?

We have an hour and should act fast. Silo can be checked after we blitzkrieg the defenses.

Since we're out of cannonballs, can we try to load the barrel with metal scraps to make it work as flak cannon?
Damn I really wanna custom upgrade this thing since you guys started mentioning what Dillinger crafted.

I looked it up and turns out that yes, yes we can. We should definitely turn nearby robots into ammunition.
>>
Of course! I mean whats a Cannon if not a absolute unit of a blunderbuss?
>>
>>4832490
Agree, let's craft some robot ammo and go in guns blazing. We are on the clock after all
>>
Alright! Going guns blazing way wins. Its truly the American way after all.

The beauty of it is that we don't have to actually craft anything. Just find scrap that will fit inside the cannon and fill the barrel.

Maybe we could modify it to produce a fuckton of heat and melt metal upon firing.

Please tell me we're using a roll under -system.

Definitely. We'd probably find out that Liberty Prime has a brother in Hawaiian nuke silo.
