It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized actoss the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 48 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The day after battling the Time Patrol, slaughtering many of them including the Supreme Kai of Time herself, Karn had woken up hungry. So after sneaking out of Hyoizaburoo’s and Yuiyui’s place and heading north, Karn found and slayed three giant ursine creatures and took them back to the village to fix. But something else followed him, a white dragon chased and attacked. After a brief battle Karn emerged victorious, and instead of the bears fed dragon to the village before heading home. Back home, Karn dove back into training, testing his Foresight before focusing on pushing the limits of his Energy Body technique. And as we rejoin Karn, you’ve been testing it’s might against your wife, Meloka.

“Now that’s more like it.” you say, your wife leaping back from you. Focusing on your ki you pour more energy into your shield, it reforming around your left arm where she’d slashed you more than a dozen times. In under a second it fully reforms, the damage to it disappearing as if it never happened.. “C’mon, I’m just getting started! Let’s see just how strong this technique really is!”
“Well now, that’s new.” she says, looking at your arm as well. “Looks like you’ve gotten better.”
“Guess all the ki control’s paying off.” you reply retaking your stance. She does the same, hands glowing with gathered energy not yet outside her body. You’re almost certain she’ll have other tricks up her sleeves you’ve never seen before.

But what are you going to do about that?
>Let her keep attacking you, focus on defense and see how well your Energy Body can mitigate her different attacks
>Keep up your pressure and go all-in on attacking, see how well you can attack while keeping it up
>Unmovable Energy Body, push the technique to it’s strongest and see if she can connect through it

“Let’s see just how much your armor can take.” Meloka calls, again creating one of her blades. She then swings it back and forth at range, launching a dozen or so Ki Needles towards you with two swipes of her blade. You cross your arms before your face, the dozen or so needles piercing into your Energy Body and barely sticking into your skin. “Shyaaa!!”

KABOOM

The needles all detonate simultaneously, blasting your front, but your ki holds the worst of it at bay. You barely feel the shock at all, lowering your arms as the smoke fades. You look yourself over, and see that other than the dozen tiny pinprick holes in your upper body, arms and legs, you’re completely unharmed by her blast. However, your Energy Body isn’t. Her attack disabled your Energy Body completely, leaving your arm wounds to bleed freely again.

“Huh. That’s different.” you say, focusing a few seconds and reactivating your Energy Body. And not too soon, as though the clearing smoke see another of Meloka’s attacks closing in. You see a ball of ki as big across as your shoulders, small, barely-noticeable spikes present on it’s surface. You recognize her Hellflower attack, and immediately guard your face again. The sphere bursts, you feeling several dozen of her Ki Needles pierce into your armor. “Shi-!”

KABOOOOOM

Again her attack detonates, this time you feeling it a bit more than before. But it still doesn’t exactly hurt, your energy barrier mitigating the blast. However, once more her attack’s explosion disabled your Energy Body. You keep working with your wife on this, and sure enough every time a blast hits your shields fall. Reactivating it takes only a second or two at most, but you not able to hold it yet against that sort of attack. Something you’ll doubtlessly be able to train for later, and increase your shield’s durability.

“That’s a cool technique!” Chaya shouts as you and your wife both power down but remain in your forms,, you seeing your eldest daughter flying over and rejoining you all. However her armor is scraps, body covered in blood and burns! The hell happened to her?
“BIG SIS!” Caulifla shouts, blasting up to Chaya as her Stand Triumph appears with a “KIIIIIIIIIIIII!!” Triumph quickly heals Chaya’s injuries, your family gathering around your daughter. “What happened?”
“I fought Shellshock, and he got some really powerful upgrades.” she says, thrn you hear her stomach growl audibly. “Oh, man. I’m hungry!”

You are too, but the question is, what do you want to go eat?

“I am too kiddo, now that you mention it.” you say, your own stomach growling in response. “What’s say we all head into the city, and see what we can find for lunch?”

“Yeah!”
“Okay!”
“Let’s Go!”

Your kids all shout their confirmations, Chaya rushing back into the old ship to take off the scraps of her armor. She’s back out in a minute wearing just a simple training suit, and you all take to the sky together. Taking the short flight from your private island to the mainland, you all land down on the outskirts of the city by a familiar home. As you touch down, the door opens to reveal a familiar face.

“Grandpa Tatsu!!” your kids shout, several of the young ones almost tackling him in excitement.
“Well now, aren’t you all a sight for sore eyes.” he says with a chuckle, wincing a bit as your kids hug him right. “Where are you all off to?”
“Lookin’ for somewhere to eat!” Caulifla says. “You wanna come too?”
“Well, why not?” he replies, looking over to you. “Have any idea what you’re looking for?”
“Something that’ll hold all of us, at least.” you reply with a laugh. “Know any place worth a visit?”
“As a matter of a fact, I think I do.” he answers. “I can take a few minutes detour before heading over to teach the afternoon’s Oozaru lessons. Let’s go.”

And with Tatsu now leading, your group of now twelve head deeper into the city. After a minute or so of walking, you begin smelling something. Something delicious.

“What’s that? It smells real good!” Chaya says, her nose picking up the smell a few steps before her siblings’ do. “Hey, are we almost there?”
“We’re here.” Tatsu says, turning and knocking twice on a squarish, average-looking building barely if at all bigger than Tatsu’s own small, one person home. A slide in the door opens, revealing an unfamiliar scarred face, but it doesn’t speak. It looks over your group, then after a second slides the hatch back shut.
“Hello I- Awww.” Caulifla says, clearly disappointed the person didn’t want to talk to her. A moment later the door opens, revealing a staircase descending down into the planet. “Woah! Cool!”

“After you.” Tatsu says, gesturing to you all. Caulifla excitedly goes first, rushing in and down the steep staircase. Meloka passes you Okira to hold onto, and holds the hands of Maz and Kayle so they don’t trip down them as well while Karn Jr clings to her. You all head down, you glancing back and seeing Tatsu exchanging a few quiet words with the doorman before following you. You raise an eyebrow at him inquisitively, but he only shakes his head. But you don’t have time to ponder it long, as the staircase comes to an abrupt end at another door. Chaya raises a hand to knock on the door, but jerks to a stop as she turns towards Tatsu. “Let me.”

>>
>>4902431
Your old man then walks up to this second door, and instead of knocking inserts what looks like some sort of keycard into the middle of the door. There’s an electronic beep, and the door slides open to your left revealing what lies inside. It’s a dimly-lit place, resembling some of the seedier bars from Planet Vegeta before it’s destruction. Yet everything is clean, and the wonderous smells of cooking flesh from your youth living like a tribal in the village are absolutely intoxicating. This place’s smells make you feel like you’ve gone back to your own childhood. However, you notice immediately that none of the tables are empty, and gettin all your family together at one would take pushing two of them together.

But how do you handle arrangements?

Your kids can take care of themselves in friendly territory, let them find their own seats and relax wins it. Interesting, writing.
>>

“Well, everyone, go find somewhere to take a seat.” you say, looking around the room. Several people have now looked up to notice you and your group, the kids spreading out and taking empty seats at several different tables The younger kids all run off in different directions, taking seats at different tables. The other, older Saiyan’s all accommodate them, making room at their tables for your kids. Meanwhile you and Tatsu take seats at a table full of grizzled, heavily-scarred old vets. They all seem vaguely familiar, no doubt warriors you’ve fought with in different conflicts.

“This place takes me back.” you say, your old man giving you a smirk. “Smells like our village.”
“Thought you’d appreciate a taste of home.” he replies, as an older serving woman comes out with a platter for each of you. The servings aren’t massive, not like you’ve been used to with Silver or devouring your own prey, but it smells just right. You never did learn how the old crones would fix the village meat, but it was always fantastic. “We’ve come a long way from our old home.”
“That we have.” you say, turning and taking a completely not paranoid look around the room to check on your kids. They’re all talking with different people around the room, who you realize are all old soldiers. Aside from your kids, you and Meloka are still the youngest people in the room. “We’ve been through a lot, but the worst the universe had to throw at us wasn’t enough to take us out.”
“For now.” he says, looking over to Chaya speaking with a couple of one-armed, scarred up veterans. “But I wonder how long it will last.”

“I’m sure that, once they grow up, the kids of their generation will be unstoppable.” you say. “Bardock’s boys both have surpassed Super Saiyan, and I’m sure others are just as strong.”
“It’s not their strength I doubt, but their instincts.” he says, sounding a note worried. “Growing on this planet has made them far more powerful, but it’s been too peaceful. They haven’t had to struggle just to survive, fighting and killing just to eat their next meal. Without that drive to survive, they won’t make it. They’ll fall, just as easily as those Patrollers you fought yesterday.”

He makes a fair point, you realize as you think on it. Even today, in a place with competition nowhere near her level, Chaya was burned and beaten bloody. Something needs to be done to address this problem.

But what?
>Ask Tatsu if he has any ideas how to instill that same drive in them without nearly killing them every week
>What about making a planet to train the youth on, filled with dangerous creatures that they’re sent to survive on their own? Something like your early missions, without exterminating the entire populations

“I was thinking about something, while we were on the Crimson Demons’ planet.” you say, Tatsu tilting his head in curiosity. “What about making a planet to train the youth on, filled with dangerous creatures that they’re sent to survive on their own? Something like our early missions for the PTO, just without aiming to exterminating entire populations and instead on survival.”
“Ha! More like the good ole’ days, huh?” one of the more heavily-scarred warriors says. “Well, how would we find creatures strong enough to give a glowin’ Super Saiyan a fight?”

“Ask the stiffs in that lab of theirs.” you say, remembering the monster they were creating. “They’re working on something deep underground called Project: Scyther. Basically they’re mixing different creatures with Saibamen to make even more dangerous beasts. One of them got loose awhile back, and nearly took my head off. They gave it swords for arms and wings, plus it could near-completely hide it’s presence.”
“Those things are here, on our world?” an older, grey-haired Saiyan woman missing her left eye and ear. “Something strong enough to almost kill even you?!”
“It wasn’t exactly strong. Just fast, and extremely dangerous.” you answer her. “But if we take this idea to those psychos, I’m sure they’d be more than happy to do it.”

“I had a similar idea.” Tatsu says, surprising the other old vets. “Without sufficient threats, the youth will grow up soft and spoiled. They need to know how to handle hunger, thirst, and exhaustion as well as other threats. A planet like this, while good for their bodies to strengthen them when developing, will not be good to develop their combat instincts.”
“If it stays this peaceful.” another says, the table sharing a laugh at that. Truthfully, New Salda has been subjected to many attacks over the years. But you doubt it will happen again anytime soon, especially after what the Covenant went through for doing that.
“I don’t think anyone’s dumb enough to do that again.” another one says.

“I’ve gotta head out, lessons are starting soon.” Tatsu says, you rising with him and clasping forearms. “You enjoy your meal, those kids aren’t gonna teach themselves to control their Oozaru forms.”
“Give ‘em hell old man.” you reply, Tatsu leaving as you sit back down. In the company of these old vets, you enjoy your meal while everyone shares stories of some of the more dangerous creatures they’ve encountered in their travels. Honestly, many of them sound even more dangerous than Project: Scyther’s monster.

After a half hour or so you all have finished your meal, you, Meloka, and your kids all head out and back up to the surface.

“That place was pretty cool.” Tatsu and Tomi say together, as you all emerge out into the afternoon sun. “So, training time?”
“Training time.” you reply.

“Broly, Chaya. You two take your siblings back to the ship, and train there.” you say, turning to your kids. “I want both of you to practice, one at a time against your other siblings. As I was doing earlier.”
“Wait, really?” Chaya asks, sounding a bit excited.
“Is that a good idea?” Broly asks, a note of worry in his voice. “What if something happens?”
“Caulifla will be there with you all.” you say, ruffling both his and her hair. “If anyone gets hurt, she’ll be in charge. Sound good?”
“Let’s go!!” Caulifla shouts excitedly, leaping into the air and pumping a fist. “I haven’t got to spar with big sis in forever! This is gonna be fun!”

“Yeah, I’m in.” Chaya says, taking to the air as well. “Let’s go!”
“Good luck everyone. Make sure to keep your guard up.” Meloka says, your kids minus Okira and Karn Jr, and Chilli as well since he’s still off world all take off together. Meloka turns to you, Karn Jr dozing lazily in her arms. “You ready to go?”
“Yeah, let’s head on over.” you say, placing the first two fingers of your right on your forehead. Meloka does the same, the two of you using your Instant Transmission to travel to the reserved training grounds by your students. “Afternoon Lattu, Rugu, Nion. Here a little early I see.”

“Was making up for you not being with us yesterday, and that everyone already cleared out.” Lattu says, the young woman having made considerable progress since you’d first met her. “I know I could have pushed myself harder.”
“Well, I’ll make sure to correct that today.” you reply with a chuckle. “Can’t have any disciples of mine caught slacking off after all.”

After a few minutes the rest of your students have gathered, and you get them organized into their usual groups split between the chambers and sparring. Meloka sits atop one of the chambers, directing the different groups sparring below as they fight with both Okira and Karn Jr curled up in her lap. You raise your hand to your forehead, focusing on the first group’s ki in the chamber to teleport to with Instant Transmission when a thought hits you. Your Instant Transmission always takes a second or three to use, not because the focusing on the technique takes so long, but focusing your ki sense. What if there was a better way, when your mind is connected to New Salda and you’re able to sense every single living being simultaneously? Learning to do such a thing on your own would be very beneficial in the long run. So you decide to try for it, and expand your senses.

“Let’s try this.” you say, closing your eyes and focusing fully on your ki sense. You focus first on your wife’s ki, her resting strength still surpassing all of your students’. Then while focused on her might, you try also to focus on another of your students’ power. But you can’t do it, at least not yet. “Hey, New Salda. Mind lending me a hand?”
“Of course, my Champion.” the avatar of your planet answers, you feeling the planet’s energy surge into you. But more importantly, comes New Salda’s awareness. You suddenly feel the ki of every living being on the planet in your mind, you able to sense every single living being.

“Thanks. I’m going to be working on something, so I’ll keep connecting in and out with you.” you think to New Salda. “Trying to work on my own senses here.”
“I understand.” New Salda’s booming voice answers. “I will help you however I can, my Champion.”
“Appreciate it.” you reply, and slowly begin pulling back your mind from New Salda’s presence. You feel your awareness of the lesser beings, plants and smaller animals fading immediately. But you hold onto that awareness of your fellow Saiyans, focusing mainly on the sixty five presences all nearby. You lose the others on the planet near-immediately after, but use all your focus to hold onto your current awareness. Now here’s the real challenge: can you hold it? “Alright, let’s do this.”

Maintaining your focus, you slowly open your eyes and raise your right hand. Pressing the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead, you’re already keenly aware of everyone’s ki. So you pick the first target, and in less than a second since you raised your hand teleport. One moment you’re outside the nearest gravity chamber, and the next you see Totoma, Salat, Ketan, Ayote, and Artoa all cranking out suspended vertical sit-ups. The gravity of at least thirty times New Salda’s own slams down onto you, nearly shocking you and breaking your concentration. But you manage to hold onto your focus, maintaining your mental connection to the sixty five ki signatures.

“Excellent form, keep up the work.” you say, teleporting right from this chamber to another. You go from room to room, maintaining your focus on everyone’s ki while instructing your students and correcting their technique over the next few hours. Once the training is over, you stand on the roof by Meloka and address your exhausted students. “Well done today everyone. That’s the kind of effort I want to see from you all each and every day! Now go get yourselves rested up, because tomorrow we’re going even harder!”

“SIR! YES SIR!!” they all shout up to you, clearly exhausted but ready for the challenge. You’ve trained them well.

And that’s it for tonight, everyone enjoying the run so far? Ready to see what else is in store, both for potential passives and for what else you’ll focus your own trainin on? All this and more, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest resumes! Run will continue in just under 12 hours, so see you all then!

I'm ready for upgrading our Instant Transmission. Or at least our ki sense. Making both of those broken would be a blessing.
>>
>>4903036
It's a tough choice to me honestly.
Do we want to be aware of every possible threat before it happens?
Or do we want the power to deal with anything that could ever come up in the first place?
I seem to remember Mechikabura positing a similar conundrum after we got our boon from him.
>>
>>4903036
>>4903041
And you still haven’t seen the full list of passives to choose from. We’re starting off with experiencing another one when we resume, Meloka’s gonna show you how she’s got such extraordinary spatial awareness to control dozens, even hundreds of her Warding Eyes simultaneously while you can only manage two.

>And that’s it for tonight, everyone enjoying the run so far?
Yes
>Ready to see what else is in store, both for potential passives and for what else you’ll focus your own trainin on?
It's already getting hard. Each time you present us a really good option to pick, but we can't pick them all.
Only one passive may be active. While I have one that I'm looking most forward to right now, others are good too. Good enough that not taking them is a difficult choice. When you will show other options it will get even harder to decide.

>CRIT/100, 94/100, 63/100, 87/100. Impressive rolls, just let me note this down.
Those rolls for a Death World. Great.
>>
Am I getting this right? We will select one passive that we will use all the time in the next months? We will take this to its mastery and beyond.

But we will still know the other ones and be able to use them but be not very good at them.
>For example if we go with Precognition it will get excellent, but our Energy Body will say mostly at this current level, our very expanded Ki awareness will not get as great as it can.

Or can we theoretically train this like that. Focus on two passives:
> One day we do Energy Body all the time.
>Next day we do Precognition all the time.
>Third day we practice Energy Body again and on fourth day we do Precognition.
And this goes on and on like this. Result would be that we would have two passives trained and available and we could switch between them depending on what we need:
>It's time to be sneaky and unnoticed we use Precognition as passive.
>It's time to go into massive war zone maybe we switch to Energy Body for this situation.

I guess dividing time to practice two passives would cause our process of gaining mastery over them to be slower. Dividing time further to practice three passives would do it even further.

But is it even possible?
>>
>>4903030
>“I understand.” New Salda’s booming voice answers. “I will help you however I can, my Champion.”
Shin is a God, does New Salda qualify as a Goddess? By the way we just recently named the planet New Salda. Did she had her own name before. What is it? We never asked her. Right?
>>
Now this is a little strange idea, but would it be possible for New Salda to gain control over another planet? If we bring huge rock from New Salda would she be able to connect to it when it is on another planet? If the planet is dead maybe she could expand her influence from that rock to the rest of the planet over time. I'm thinking about this in context of our Death World.

“They’re really improving.” Meloka says, the two of you watching as your students begin to tiredly disperse. Some in small groups, others taking off on their own, while still more stay around, talking amongst themselves. Meanwhile Meloka raises her open right hand, twists her arm while lowering it and closing her fist. You see dozens, possibly even hundreds of your Berserker fist-sized ki orbs all flying towards her from all sides. You hadn’t even noticed she’d sent out so many of her Warding Eyes, focused as you were on maintaining your own focus. “I almost feel bad for whatever dumbass tries attacking us next time.”

“Speak for yourself. I’d rather fight all of them at once than try and take you on hun.” you reply. “Seriously, I still can’t control more than two of those things at once.”
“Wait, you’re trying to manually control them?” she asks, and you immediately realize you know less of her technique than you’d thought. “I haven’t actually directly controlled them in forever.”
“Directly? How do you control them then?” you ask her, intrigued. “I thought I just wasn’t good enough to handle it.”
“Well, yes and no.” she says, you tilting your head a bit and raising an eyebrow. “Focus on my ki, and only mine. You have to pay really close attention to sense what I’m about to do.”

“Sure.” you reply, dropping your focus from the sixty five presences to just hers. You see her aura blazing around her, it flaring up and burning bright like a star. But then her aura expands. You can sense it, and see it as her energy grows larger and larger. Her ki signature diffuses a little bit, but by both watching with your eyes and following it with your senses can clearly see what she’s doing. In a technique almost polar opposite to your Energy Body, Meloka has diffused her aura out to at least dozens of yards out from her on all sides! “Woah.”
“Right now my limit’s about seventeen yards or so.” she says, as if it’s nothing. And having your aura spread out like this allows me to have much greater spatial awareness than I normally would. Anything within this space, living or non living all touch my energy when it’s spread like this. Which gives me a near-flawless picture of everything going on around me while it’s active.”

“No wonder you can flip and spin like a madwoman and not lose yourself.” you reply with a chuckle as you consider the advantages and disadvantages of such a skill.
cont
>>
>>4903520
Having that level of awareness she’s speaking of would make it nearly-impossible for anyone to ever sneak up on you while it’s active, but by it’s nature such a skill couldn’t be used simultaneously with the Energy Body technique. And with your ki spread out so thin over a wide area, gathering it back to you would take precious seconds in a fight if you needed to shield yourself with your Energy Body or Barrier. Trading a more passive, reactive defensive style of confronting threats for an active one, identifying threats as soon as they enter your range. It admittedly would require a higher amount of skill and attention from you to use, but could possibly identify invisible, or even otherwise-undetectable threats in your vicinity.

“So, what do you think?” Meloka asks you. “Want to try it yourself?”

Well?

“I’m ready, show me how you do it.” you say, ready to go. “Your technique sounds interesting.”
“First, raise your aura out around yourself.” she instructs, the golden flame-like aura of Super Saiyan 3 blazing around her body. “Then once you’ve done that, focus on your aura.”
“Haaa!” you shout, emerald aura blazing up as you unleash your Ascended Berserker’s full power. “Like this?”
“You’ll get tired real quick if you do this at full power, but to see it for yourself it’ll be fine.” she advises. “Now, focus on your ki itself, the energy radiating off your body. Shape it, much like you would with your Barrier into a sphere around you.”

As she says this her aura shifts, and instead of pulsing up from the ground like a flame it pulses out from her from all sides. The usual shape of aura changes, forming a sphere around her just wider that she is tall.

“And once you’ve achieved this much, all that’s left is training your longevity and range.” she says, the sphere rapidly expanding out from her. As it grows the light becomes less concentrated, aura dimming until you can no longer see it around her. But you can feel it, her presence absolutely surrounds you right now. “Alright, give it a shot.”
“Here goes.” you say, sighing out and closing your eyes. You focus exclusively on your aura and your aura alone, feeling your energy surge to the beating of your heart. You feel your energy around you, focusing on it and shaping it. As Meloka had, you focus on letting your energy out from you into a circle. At first your aura doesn’t want to, it resisting moving against it’s natural shape. But with sustained effort your blazing emerald power bends to your will, radiating out from you in a controlled sphere instead of just going wild.

“Well well, look at you.” Meloka says with a smile, your energy forming a sphere around you just wider than you are tall. Looks like you’re getting it. “Now, close your eyes and focus.”
“Sure.” you reply, closing your eyes and focusing on holding your aura where it is. As you do, suddenly through your aura you sense something moving fast right at you! It’s about the size of your fist, moving fast right towards your face. Without opening your eyes you reach up, catching what feels to be a rock in your right hand. Opening your eyes, you see Meloka smirking at you.
cont
>>
>>4903701
“Heh, looks like you’re getting it.” she says, you looking at her curiously. “You felt that, didn’t you? The moment it entered your aura, you sensed it.”
“Yeah, I did.” you say, looking at it a moment before tossing it back. Meloka catches it with telekinesis, lifting another dozen or so off the ground as well. “Let’s keep going.”

Again you close your eyes, all focus going to your aura as Meloka prepares to toss more of the stones your way. For the next twenty or so minutes she keeps pitching rocks at you, and thanks to the awareness on your energy you can feel it every time something enters that range. So despite not “seeing” the rocks coming, you’re able to catch or deflect each and every of them. But then something’s different, you sense energy blasting at you. Not from the side Meloka just pitched one at you from, but behind you!

“HAAA!!” you shout, spinning and giving a right backhand to the sphere of energy fired at you. Your reflect launches it up and over you, flying off into the forest before crashing down and exploding. Opening your eyes, you see a familiar, but surprised face you deflected their sneak attack.

But who shot it at you?

“Afternoon, King Vege-!” you start, then realize something’s different. “No way. You, you’ve really done it!”
“Indeed I have.” he says with a smirk, lightning dancing around his body as he clenches a fist before him. His longer hair has grown down over his shoulders, crimson fur waving in the breeze his aura’s kicked up. “Once more I have attained the primal power of our race! Behold, the power of Primal Vegeta!”
“Well, this is certainly a surprise. But not an unwelcome one.” you say, ending Meloka’s technique and focusing on your ki sense. And to your surprise, he’s far stronger than you. In his Primal form, Vegeta’s power is currently around double your own. Yet you doubt this is the full extent of his might. “So why’re you here? Wanting to test this power out?”

“Heh. You know me too well, Karn.” King Vegeta says with a smirk. “Who better to test my ultimate power against than you?”
“Well, I’ll accept your challenge.” you say, lifting up into the air. He rises up as well, the two of you floating a dozen or so yards apart with golden and emerald auras flaring wildly. The two of you stare each other down for several seconds, then simultaneously blitz forward and swing a heavy right for each other. Your fists clash, and just as you’d sensed he’s stronger than you. The shockwave blasts the both of you back away, and even despite your larger frame, are knocked back further from the king than he is from you.

“Come on, let me see just how strong this form is!” Vegeta replies, flaring his aura up even further. Looks like he’s fired up and ready for a fight. But what about you? How do you handle this?

“Let’s do this!” you say, crossing your arms before you and focusing. You draw your aura in, preparing to harden it into your Energy Body. But before you can, suddenly there’s a fist in your jaw!
“Too slow!” Vegeta shouts, his attack launching you back. The punch sends you spinning, twisting around two or three times before righting yourself. And he’s already right back in your face, this time firing a straight left for your face. “HAAAA!!”
“Tch!” you exhale, twisting back counterclockwise around his fist. You feel the wind from his punch across your face, and as he sails past you reach up with your right hand and grab the back of his head. With a twist you spin, continuing the momentum and launch Vegeta with a, “RRRAAAAAAA!!”

With a roar you pitch King Vegeta back down planetside. He sails down, smashing through a couple trees before crashing to the ground deep in the forest. Using your second or two before he comes back at you you focus, and once more shape ki into your glowing Energy Body. Emerald ki coalesces, forming an inches-thick barrier between your body and the outside world. An instant later you hear Vegeta blast off, and see his golden aura exploding up out of the trees. You take your fighting stance, left arm up defensively and right arm back ready to fight. Vegeta blasts off the ground towards you, aura blazing.

“HAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, blitzing towards you.
“HRRRAAAAAA!!” you bellow, charging towards him as well. You both pull back your right fists, then still roaring swing. Your giant fist slams into his more-powerful punch, Energy Body robbing his strike of much of his blow’s power. So the resulting shockwave blasts far more into him than you, knocking Vegeta back. Using your power you twist, left forearm slamming into his chest as you charge through him. Your speed continues forward, driving Vegeta back and slam him back-first into and through one of New Salda’s giant trees before launching him away. “RRRAAAAA!!”

BOOM
BOOM
BOOM

BOOOOM

You watch the king smash right through several giant trees before finally coming to a stop, the timber falling and making a cleared path between the two of you. You see him embedded back-first into a tree, held in place by the wood. After a second you feel his power climbing, roaring to the sky as he unleashes his power.

“HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” he roars, Explosive Wave shattering the tree and freeing him from it’s ligneous embrace. The tree falls behind him, crashing to the earth as Vegeta once more takes his fighting stance. You do the same, gaze meeting the king’s with a smirk. Time to see just how well this technique really works!

Could it be used to filter through what comes through that barrier? Right now Karn is breathing, so this is not blocked. Could it filter Destron gas from normal air? Can this sort of thing be done with this technique?

>Potentially, although by that point most have realized how pointless the form is.
It is not that pointless. It has a flaw of being slower. Yet despite this it is in fact quite useful. Remember when long ago Meloka fought Komand'r?
>Mel used her Super Saiyan speed to get close to Blackfire.
>When she had her, she transformed into Ultra Super Saiyan.
>There's no running away when Meloka already grabbed her.
>Meloka increased her strength at the cost of speed, but in that situation it did not matter, since her opponent could not runaway.

In Saiyan Conqueror Quest 158 Epilogue Chaya used it for a few moments to get more power, and then quickly reverted when it was no longer needed.

Now in a hypothetical situation where primal Vegeta has already grabbed his opponent and then he quickly transformed into Ultra version of Primal the lack of speed will not be a problem.
>Vegeta's iron grip is already on his opponent.
>With Ultra it suddenly became 2x stronger.
>2x Primal is more than a lot.
> Rain of such strong punches proceeds from Vegeta.
Opponent is not going to have nice time in this situation.

Now obviously it is very situational, but in right moment Ultra can be helpful. Especially if you can transform in and out of it quickly. Plus it does not have the body damaging factor that Kaio Ken has.
Anyway Berserker transformations are much better than all of this.

Hiro’s implementing a new captcha on the bigger boards for now it seems. Retarded anons are getting filtered by it and discussion is slowing down.

>>4905190
Filter all the npcs and bots, would improve the faster boards

>It burns a LOT of power to transform into that state, and exponentially more to hold onto it as well.
Okay. Then you are right. It's not very good. Pointless and a transformation dead end.

It can be useful, if you take the time to really master the form. But considering what forms are beyond that require more focus to hit, going for Ultra at that point is a net negative.
>>4905229
>>4905267
Been trying it out, and honestly it’s a far faster captcha for me. Can’t wait till it moves here
>>
>>4905218
That form is okay if you don't have SS2 and you want to be tanky or fire a lot of powerful energy attacks for a short period. SS2 generally outclasses it while having none of the major drawbacks.

So I have a question for you all, which intermission interests you?

Actually, just thought about it, is Kars POV an option?

Maybe something related to Nappa or Bardock? It feels like it’s been a minute since we’ve really seen anything from them.

Any chance for some glimpse into what King Cold is doing? He has been studying Stand Dagger for some time and he's been nearly fully healed by Caulifa.

So what if all three options are interesting? Any chances we will see other options at the Epilogue? Maybe another vote for epilogue that will include those options that were not selected in this vote now (plus perhaps some new)?

>Chaya and Broly vs their siblings, Broly pov
I'm very curious about this too.

This one makes me think something unexpected will be shown if we pick this.

I'd like anything with Ubo, Bardock or Turles, especially Ubo, he's done a lot of good for us and I miss having him around.

>>4906417
Those are interesting POVs too.
>>
>>4906349
You’d have to test it to see. Remember, Energy Body works best against physical attacks.
>>4906357
Not for awhile. I keep his pov as closed off as possible, simply as to prevent you all from getting too much ooc knowledge on the happenings around the universe.
>>4906361
Good. I don’t like giving boring choices, although this wasn’t a vote and more to gauge interest. Already started on the one I think will be best going into the second part of this episode.

>You’d have to test it to see. Remember, Energy Body works best against physical attacks.
True, true. I guess we need to test Energy Body extensively before deciding whether take it or not as a passive.

So things that need to be tested that I can think of right now is how well Energy Body protects from:
>Massive physical hits
We are just testing it with primal Vegeta.

>Hamon
Is there anyone nearby that can do it?

>Various types of magic
Chili, Raven, Megumin can help with this.

>Can it stop water?
If Karn dives into the depths of the ocean will he remain dry as long the Energy Body is on? That is important if we can block out the water then risk of drowning gets significantly lower.

>Massive Heat (and extreme temperatures in general)
Remember how there was instance when Karn's spherical Barrier stopped attack, but the huge heat of it still was getting through? It would be nice if Energy Body could prevent Karn from getting burned by fire as well as not getting cooked inside is Energy Body by the heat itself .
This also is linked to the topic if Karn could use Energy Body to survive getting submerged into lava.

>Divine Dragon Force
This needs multiform. Two Karns and one summons DDF. I's probably easy to guess that Divine Dragon Force will not be slowed by Energy Body and will be able to move through it like a ghost, but better to check for sure. If using DDF will interact in some way with DDF it's good to know now, though it seems unlikely.

>Force Lightning?
>Bane's light saber?
Those are things that he can help Karn test.

That's it for now that I can think of that we could test Energy Body against.
>>
>>4907228
Prefer they keep the slide honestly. Best way to anti-bot I’ve seen.
>>4907470
It is for physical damage. And although ki attacks are also physical, it is less effective against them. Especially piercing/slashing.
There are things I can’t say about it, until you spend a lot of time training and fully understand the limits of each of the possible techniques. I will say, however, that none of the passives would interfere with Stands.
>Multiform
Can you even summon your Stand while you’re not whole? If you’re only 1/2 of yourself and your will, could you manifest a Stand?
>>
QM UPDATE

This intermission got me feeling nostalgic, what have been some of you all’s favorite non-Karn-focused moments of the quest so far? Who’s eyes have you enjoyed watching our boy through most, and which character(s) are you hoping gets more screen time? Also have more comms in the works, branching out a bit and getting different characters art’d up.

Our old crew we haven't seen in years. Vegeta and his wife to be being cute rulers together. Raven and Ubo learning about the joys of not having to deal with her Dad. The Ginyu Force on leave, and Chado on his planet of bitches. What our friends kids get up too. Freeza when he doing his job and wishing he could be at our place working out.
>>

>Vegeta and his wife
The king is still unmarried.

Nappa, Bardock, Kakarot, Ubo just to name a few. Pretty much any of our friends and associates that we haven’t had meaningful interaction with in a while.

Fantastic. You gotta hang with the best to be the best, so I'm glad he's taking the initiative and coming at us with everything he's got.
>>
>>4908091
>He is the king, and dealing with more important matters than physical desire. Not the least of which is surpassing Karn, and claiming his place as the strongest Saiyan.
Well he's got it for the next.....3-4 years? Until we do the ritual and break into Berserker 3. Then he's gunna need to Apex to beat us out.
>>
>>4908110
The way I see it, he might just be neck and neck with us in the next decade or so. He's still fairly young, he has a lot of room to grow.
>>
I think young Vegeta will probably surpass us within the next few years, in terms of power, and just stay above us from then. But that's kinda natural, isn't it? He's from the next generation, and was training on a higher level from a younger age. Even if he ends up higher in raw power, Karn will still always have things Vegeta never did, such as DDF, so I don't see it as that big of a deal.

>>4908131
>He's still fairly young, he has a lot of room to grow.
Yes he does. Whereas Karn has “peaked”, in the sense he’s not getting significantly stronger just by maturing.
>>4908655
Even if Vegeta stays solidly ahead of you, he still wouldn’t be the strongest on New Salda as long as Ubo’s around.
>>4908816
Good, because it’s HAPPENING
This will be Vegeta’s second serious spar that day.
>>4908821

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 159 Intermission-

AGE 749, NEW SALDA

“Was that the last one for today?” you ask, sighing and slumping in your throne.
“He was the last.” Emilia says from behind your shoulder. In her first, childlike form the Zoldyck assassin has been your constant shadow for the past several years. Even before you beat her father. “No more petitioners or disputes scheduled for you today, my king.”
“Finally.” you say, rising from the Saiyan King throne and stretching both arms overhead.

You are King Vegeta the Fourth, undisputed ruler of the Saiyan race and former disciple of the legendary Super Saiyan Karn himself. And although it’s been years since he was your teacher, his lessons of hard work, never giving up, and winning no matter the personal cost have stuck with you. Through the Covenant War, the different invasions your people have struggled against, and even the nobles’ Uprising, you have remained strong and steadfast. And also diligent in your own training. Being right means nothing without the power to enforce it, and to protect what’s yours. So as you stretch you walk from the room, headed out the back door to resume your training today.

“Finished with those guys already?” Nappa asks you, falling in with the Royal Guard as you stride through the fortress of a palace towards the nearest exit. “I don’t see why you bother with all this.”
“The people need to know I am here for them.” you explain, giving a sideways glance to one of Vox’s cameras as you continue walking down the hall. “All of them. If they think I don’t have the greatest good in mind, we could one day face another Uprising.”
“HA! You say that like you and Emilia there didn’t clean house.” Nappa says with a chuckle, you and your entourage leaving the palace and taking to the sky. Over half of the Guard remain behind, only Galick and two of his chosen accompany you on this training exercise. And they’re chosen for a very specific reason. “Well well, looks like Bardock’s already here.”

The six of you drop out of the sky, landing in a well-worn crater made by weeks of giants sparring. This spot, well out of the way from the city and near the far edge of the continent, is the perfect place for the training you all do.

“About time you showed up.” Bardock grumbles, sitting up on the rock he’d been laying on. Beside him are Leyas and Sarada, both of who’m have recently joined in with their more unique form. Thanks to their bodies being reconstructed by demon magic years ago. “Ready to get to work?”
“Of course.” you say, focusing your ki into a sphere in your hand. You pitch the orb skyward, it floating hopefully out of the coming brawl’s range as you clench your fist. “Burst open and mix!!”
>>
>>4908962
The orb’s energies mix, radiating with Blutz Waves similarly to a full moon which New Salda doesn’t possess. But with this technique relying on natural moonlight is irrelevant, as you’re thankful for while flashing up into a Super Saiyan before staring up at it. You feel it immediately, the primal thirst for combat surging through your body as it begins transforming.

“Guuuuhaaaah! Grrrrraaaaaa! GRRRROOOOAAAAAAARRR!!” you bellow, transforming into your giant Golden Oozaru form. You see three other Golden Oozaru, Bardock, Nappa, and Galick all having transformed too. But every Oozaru here isn’t golden, Leyas and Sarada having taken on their pale-furred, red-eyes Demonic Oozaru forms.
“GRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Leyas roars, immediately swinging at you with a wild right. But you were ready, left backhanding his strike over your head while punching him in the chest with your right. “Guuurh!?”

“RRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, grabbing his right wrist with your left and using your arms to throw him up and over your head. As he soars through the sky, suddenly another fist strikes you in the right side of your jaw. “Guuurrruuh?”
“RRROOOOOAAAAAAAA!!” Sarada bellows, her hard left knocking you off balance and spinning you around. You stagger a couple steps back, finding your balance just as she leaps at you swinging both fists down like meteoric hammers. You brace for impact, knowing you can’t stop that much force and catch her attack on your crossed arms. The powerful blow knocks you off your feet, but you don’t just take it. The moment your feet leave the ground you curl up, grabbing onto her wrists as your back hits the ground and kick her in the gut with both feet. Your blow launches her over you as you roll back onto all fours, just in time to see Bardock knock Nappa back down to earth.

“GWWWRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAR!!!” Bardock bellows in the air, fists pounding his chest in challenge. A challenge you’re more than willing to accept.
“RRRROOOOAAAAAAARR!!” you roar, immediately launching yourself into the air at him. And you weren’t alone, everyone else doing the same within a few seconds. You lose yourself for a time in the brawl, dishing out and taking hits from everyone including Galick. But after a time the others begin firing out, first Galick who’s had the least experience with the form. Then Leyas and Sarada, and finally Nappa too. Leaving just you and Bardock. Except he’s no longer fighting, instead staring up at the power ball curiously. You then watch as he closes his eyes, attempting to condense his power. You realize what he’s trying and don’t attack, but already realize this way won’t work for achieving Primal.

“This power responds to a need, not a desire.” Karn’s voice from the day you finally achieved it rings in your mind, and suddenly you have an idea.
>>
>>4908964
“Raven, you and Ubo wouldn’t happen to have a few minutes to help me with something, would you?” you think to the planet’s Guardian and Ubo. If anyone can help you with this, it’s them.
“Of course, what is it?” she asks, you quickly outlining your idea and then ask if it’ll work. A second later one of her portals appears beside your head. “You do realize how dangerous this is, right? Even like this he’s several times stronger than you.”
“That’s exactly what I need.” you reply, voice a dull roar. “A need, not a desire.”
“As you wish.” she replies, and after a few seconds you feel it. Ubo’s powerful ki rocketing down from somewhere in space towards New Salda. It’s time. You see the blazing red of his aura dropping down towards you, the alien being many dozens of times stronger than you in this form. “Close your eyes, Vegeta. And see the wall you wish to overcome.”

And you do, closing your eyes for a few seconds. You feel Raven’s magic in your mind, an uncomfortable sensation to be sure, but when you open your eyes there he is. Floating where Ubo was now stands Karn, long emerald hair of his Super Saiyan 3 form flowing just as it had on Sanghelios last time you’d battled him. And even injured to the point of being crippled, he’d managed to keep up with your Primal power. But not this time!

“RRRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, firing off a quick left jab and immediately follow it up with a right hook. “Karn” before you dodges the jab easily, then flies up over your right. Before you can retaliate he’s closed the distance, and slams a boot right into your nose. His blow is several times stronger than Sarada’s and makes your eyes water, hands instinctively going to your face as you stagger back. Yet as soon as you do, you realize what a mistake it is. A titanic force suddenly slams into your gut, launching you up into the air as it winds you. “GUUUUURH!!”

And again before you can recover, a tremendous force slams into your back and sends you crashing down to the ground. You lay there dazed for a moment, then begin pushing yourself back upright to see Karn gathering a massive ball of energy overhead. As you see him, emerald aura blazing, your mind goes back to that fay, years ago...

“The power responds to a need, not a desire right?” you’d asked him on the alien world, after Towa’d again saved Meloka and you’d spent so much time trying to regain that golden power you now wield with ease. “I need you to hit me with everything you’ve got! Either I become a Super Saiyan again right here, right now, or I die. If it kills me, I’m unworthy to lead you or any other Saiyan!”

Karn had lept into the air, and much like right now he’d gathered a giant energy bomb overhead to drop onto you. It’s time!
>>
>>4908968
“HAAAAAA!” ‘Karn’ bellows, launching the crimson orb down.
“GALICK GUN!!” you shout, gathering your own energy as well into the purple beam. “FIRE!!!”

Your purple beam soars up into the sky, crashing into the slowly descending ball of death. You push with all your might, but your strength still doesn’t measure up! You strain against Karn’s tremendous attack, it headed right for you and pushing your beam back despite you giving it everything you’ve got!

“SHIT!” you shout, dropping your attack and catching the ball with your giant hands, The weight and power of Karn’s might slams down onto you, and you feel it begin slowly crushing you.
“No, I’m not done yet!” you think, knees buckling under this power. Your feet digdown into the ground, his attack overpowering even your prodigious Golden Oozaru might.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=SOISIvPHHOc

Then you begin to feel something rising inside you, something alien yet somehow familiar. Like a raging inferno the swelling of power starts in the tip of your tail, surging down into your hips and up into your spine as your entire body spasms. You feel rage, primal fury at Karn still being ahead of you despite so much of your life being dedicated to surpassing him that burns you alive!

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar with primal ferocity, a power surging up from deep within you. You remember this power from the times you’ve touched it before, and let it surge forth from the depths of your soul unhindered. This glorious golden power flows up, body rapidly shrinking as your body condenses and magnifies the power of the Golden Oozaru several times over. And as the transformation finishes you hold the attack back with your left hand, it no longer overwhelming and easy enough to hold back one-handed. Drawing back your right fist, you take careful aim then punch it right back! You watch the massive blast soar back up into the air, Ubo narrowly dodging his own hit.

“N-No way! He really did it!” Sarada shouts, you smirking as everyone who’s already reverted back down gathers around. Both Ubo and Raven do as well, Ubo for curiosity’s sake and Raven with a smile. You turn to the two of them, and offer a crisp Saiyan salute.
“Thank you. Both of you.” you say, then again take your fighting stance. “So Ubo. Want to help me test the limits of this form?”
“HA! Now that’s more like it!” Ubo shouts, taking his own fighting stance as Raven and everyone else flies back away from the two of you. This is gonna be fun! “HRRRRAAAAA!!”
“HAAAAAAAAA!!”

BOOOOOM
>>
>>4908969
Your fists collide with tremendous, earth-shaking force as you and Ubo clash. Not only is your power far greater, but in the Primal form your body has changed. No longer is it that of a teenager, but has morphed into that of a man in his prime. You’re taller, more muscular, and have greater reach, on top of the tremendous increase in power. As well as ferocity.

“GGRRRRAAAAA!!” you roar, ducking one of the taller man’s punches and slamming your shoulder into his gut. He wheezes in surprise, you taking advantage of the moment and wrap your arms around his midsection. Something you couldn’t do before. Then before he can recover you plant your feet, and with all your might flip him backwards. “RRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

KABOOOM

Leaping back away and turning, you see your attack buried Ubo’s upper body completely in the ground, leaving only his lower body and legs sticking straight up in the air.

“That’s it, my king!” Galick cheers you on.
“Woah!” Sarada shouts excitedly. “No way!”
“Hell yeah!” Leyas cheers.
“HRRRRRR!!” Ubo exerts, ground bursting up around him as he blasts his way free. He revolves his body around upright, looking no worse for wear. “Haha! Now this is getting interesting! You’re a lot stronger now!”
“Thanks. Been trying to retake this form for weeks.” you say, again retaking your stance. “Wanna keep going?”
“Of course!” Ubo replies, crimson aura suddenly blazing up around him as his strength magnifies. “Let’s go!”

Good on you Vegeta for finally figuring it out properly.

Now I want to see his reaction to finding out that Karn can't become a SSG and instead the ritual will unlock his Berserker 3 form.

He will become THE BIGGER GREEN. And I'm hoping we get the early Berserk thing of turning all of reality Green around us as everything starts getting distorted.
>>
>>4908981
Now the real question is if he can do it again. And you make an important point to be addressed one day, maybe soon. Does Vegeta know you CAN’T be the Super Saiyan God to face Beerus in a few years?

To be fair, once someone mind controls one person, there are very good reasons why they'd try to continue such research to the point that they could do it without the masks. It is a form of pattern recognition that is completely valid with the known goals of each side. And our Towa being substantially different from the others is probably not something they'd even consider.
>>
>>4909732
Do they even know anything about our Towa besides "She's a Towa."?
>>
>>4909735
Skotti might, but the pink menace compartmentalizes information harder than the ATF trying to pretend they're justified.

Right? Simple continuation that appeases the monkey brains of most Time Patrollers. They don’t work for her because they’re intelligent.
Do they even recognize one Towa from another? Besides yours showing up with Godsend and all.

I looked it up because I was curious. While I couldn't find specific heat numbers for ammonium nitrate, liquid ammonium had a comparable Sp. heat to that of water, while aluminum has a significantly lower. So it'd do okay-ish, but you'd be better served with a house of bricks to stop the little pigs from getting in.

>what have been some of you all’s favorite non-Karn-focused moments of the quest so far?
Too many good moments to count them all honestly, you keep the quality consistently.
>Who’s eyes have you enjoyed watching our boy through most, and which character(s) are you hoping gets more screen time?
Those are not all, but I'm going to name few interesting characters that not had that much screen time so maybe there is a chance for them to either getting more screen time or have their spotlight in the epilogue or intermission:

Saiyans:
>Sarada and Leyas
>Vegeta (It's happening now. That's very good.)
>Bardock and Gine
>Nappa
>Tunnip
From younger generation (beside Karn's kids):
>Kakarot
>Parsla

Friends and allies:
>Ubo
>Raven
Seems like there is a chance we are going to meet all of those mentioned above thanks to the sparing with Vegeta. So that's very good.

Long time not seen:
>Jojos
>Boros
>Aku

Kai related:
>Shin (Honestly I'm just curious about his reaction when he hears about what happened to Time Kai at the wedding. Does he even knows?).
>Kars (I know, not available at the moment.)
>Whis (What would he say about what happened to Chronoa?)
Beerus (This is spoilered as he is interesting too, but he is napping and I don't want to wake him up by mentioning him.)

Rarely appearing:
>King Cold (I know his POV is not available too.)

Special case:
>Freeza (I know he is busy ruling the empire, but anytime he appears it's nice.)

Glad you enjoy the quest this much. Hopefully it stays at least this good.
>Long time not seen:
Jotaro’s back to school, working on his degree in marine biology, and Joseph’s back to running his business and special tasks with the Speedwagon Foundation.
You did see Aku recently, when you went down into the ruins before Chilli’s wedding.
Shin doesn’t know, yet, but once Vox begins to distribute that footage the whole universe will see what Karn does to the Time Patrol.
Whis actually did see everything that happened there, including what happened in stopped time. And feels his worries entirely justified.

Not necessarily, the Cold clan are very distant rulers. It depends more on the local planetary rulers.

>Is he more smug that he was right, or less smug because he was right?
His smug hasn’t changed.
Perhaps.
>I don't even know what I'm looking at
Well I can explain it real simple. Uses a MTG-style mana system, but instead of dedicated cards like MTG/Pokémon you can play any of the cards in that zone. Top left is cost, and Overrealm means you can play it for the cost noted beside the keyword if you send all the cards from the discard pile to out-of-play in exchange for it leaving the field at the end of the turn. Then SKoT’s effect means that those cards don’t leave at the end of her turn. So basically she goes full aggro with cards that shouldn’t hit more than once by letting them stick around.
>>

Heh, he's his planet's ultimate boss fight now.

>He’s working with the Speedwagon Foundation on special projects more.
Space Defense Force? Earth Defense Force? Which is ironic sense he's probably the absolute strongest Grandpa out there, and between him, Jotoro, and the Crusader crew, they can fight off most threats out there. I can't wait to meet Josuke though. Side question, does he know we finished the Alien genocide? And did he or the other Crusaders grab a recording of it from a Dreadzone approved distributer?
>His smug hasn’t changed.
Fuckin Angels.
>Uses a MTG-style mana system, but instead of dedicated cards like MTG/Pokémon you can play any of the cards in that zone. >he's his planet's ultimate boss fight now.
For now.
Who knows? But he had introduced space travel to his earth in the pre-2000s. So it’ll be...interesting. As for the Crusaders, only Jotaro, Joseph, and Polnareff survived.
>That is bullshit.
Very. Runs a self-burn to put the pressure on, but it also runs so many different counters as well that retaliation is basically impossible.
>>4910426
With the Unison in play can only use Over Realm skills up to twice a turn instead of once, but yes it’s extremely busted. Even without the absolutely broken SS4 Gogeta card.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

As Karn was sparring with Meloka, Chaya arrived fresh from a battle at Dreadzone that left her in tatters. Once the testing of the durability of Energy Body was finished Karn and his family, along with his old man Tatsu went out and ate. Sitting with his old man Karn told Tatsu and several older vets of his idea for making a training world for future Saiyans, a world of death to hone their talent and instincts as Planet Vegeta had done for you all. Once the meal was over Karn sent the kids off to train together while he and Meloka trained their students. As Karn’s awareness had been stifled by his technique of trying to focus constantly on the students’ ki simultaneously, King Vegeta had once more transformed. And as we rejoin Karn, you’s launched the king into one of New Salda’s giant trees.

“HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” King Vegeta roars, Explosive Wave shattering the tree around him and freeing him from it’s ligneous embrace. The tree begins falling behind him, crashing to the earth as Vegeta once more takes his fighting stance. You do the same, gaze meeting the king’s with a smirk. Time to see just how well this Energy Body technique can compensate against his greater power. The two of you stare each other down, waiting on the other to make the first move. And Vegeta is the first to move. “HAAAAAAA!!”

Throwing his right hand forward Vegeta suddenly fires a wave of golden ki your way. But you’re ready, flying aside to his left and blitzing towards him. Vegeta ends the beam, twisting and firing a Death Slash with his left hand at you. Stopping you hold your arms before you, bracing and catching his Death Slash on your Energy Body-coated arms.

“Tch!” you exhale, feeling the sting of his energy as it slices through your armor and into your arms. But your Energy Body seemingly absorbs most of the attack’s power, you barely feel the blades barely nicking you.
“Wait, what?” King Vegeta says, you lowering your arms and inspecting the damage. And as you focus, your Energy Body quickly restoring itself.
“Heh. That wasn’t a bad hit.” you say, retaking your fighting stance. “But I hope it wasn’t your best.”
“Hardly!” he replies, golden aura blazing around him. This is going to be something else.

But how do you do this?
>Rush in and attack, use your Djem So and beat him down
>Keep rushing in and throwing him around, use your Energy Body to ignore his hits
>Defend, see just how much of his overwhelming power your Energy Body can actually withstand

“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding forward and swinging for his head with a straight right. Vegeta crosses his arms, your fist crashing against his guard. However he’s still stronger than you, your strike only pushing him back a few feet before he stops you. As you feel him stopping you pull your fist back, and swing with a straight left for his head. This time Vegeta dodges, using Su Ma and twisting outside. Which leaves him wide open. Changing your attack angle you switch from a punch to an elbow, throwing your entire force behind your left elbow as you slam it into the base of his neck. “RRRRAAAAA!!”

“Gya-?!!” he exhales in surprise, your strike stunning his entire system. Before Vegeta can recover you twist, dropping a turning kick down onto him.
“HRRAAAAA!!” you roar, right shin slamming down hard onto his neck and shoulder and blasting him down to the planet’s surface. Vegeta crashes with a tremendous impact, you blitzing righr into the dust cloud his body kicked up. You see his body bouncing off the ground, snatching him by the face and slamming his head back down into the ground again. Lifting him up you then let go and slam your left fist into his gut, Vegeta wheezing in pain. Your punch would have launched him, but instead of allowing it you drop a right hammerfist down onto his left shoulder and smash him back down to the ground. But Vegeta seems to be recovering, landing on his hands and knees instead of just getting floored. So you draw your foot up, and plant your left boot square in his face as he tries rising up. “GRRRRAAAAAAA!!”

“GUYYAAAA!!” he cries, your kick launching him into the crater’s wall. Dashing over to him you grab him by the head, and start dragging his face through the wall while running around it. “Gaaaaaaaaaah?!”
“HRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, spinning once and then launching him up into the sky. As he flies you raise your right hand, focusing on King Vegeta ki and use your Instant Transmission up above him. Vegeta flies up at you, then suddenly spins into a whirlwind kick aimed at your head! But you’re ready, raising your left forearm aside your head and blocking the hit. Vegeta immediately backs off, flipping back away from you and retaking his fighting stance.

“Tch. That’s what I get for underestimating you.” he says, turning a bit and spitting out a bit of blood before returning his gaze to you. “I let my power go to my head. But I’m not letting you gain the upper hand again!”

Well, what now?

“That’s a lot of talk, my king.” you say, raising both arms up in front of you defensively. “So why don’t you come over here and back it up?”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=mLe9KRUDtT4

“Bring it!” he replies, immediately closing the distance and firing off five lighting-fast left jabs at your face. You take the hits on your energy-sheathed arms, barely feeling his strikes through your energy. “HRRRYAAAAA!!”

Vegeta follows up his lefts with a right hook then left uppercut that leads to a left elbow then turning right kick into spinning back left kick. Your shielded arms take the brunt of his hits, a little bit of the force getting through as Vegeta pummels your defenses with more than a hundred powerful strikes. Yet despite this you guard against his assault easily, his blows far easier to withstand. But as he continues relentlessly pounding against your guarding energy, you begin to feel his hits more and more.

“Come on, fight back!” Vegeta shouts, relentlessly striking your upraised arms over and over again. “You’re just gonna sit there and take it?!”
“I’m just testing my defenses, and seeing how well it holds up.” you reply, then with a smirk deflect his next straight right with your left forearm while swinging for his head with your right. “HAAAAA!!”
“SHI-!!” Vegeta shouts, narrowly bringing his own left forearm up just in time to intercept your strike. Your strike knocks him back off of you, you taking full advantage of the opening to cross your arms and focus your ki. You pour more of your ki into your Energy Body, the dull gleam of your beaten-down aura returning to its full emerald glow. Looking up you see Vegeta just staring at you, clearly more than a little shocked. “Seriously? You can restore it that quickly?”

“Of course. It’s just fueled by my own energy after all.” you reply, retaking your defensive stance. “Now, don’t tell me that’s all you’ve got?”
“No way.” he replies, crossing his arms and gathering his ki. You watch as he then pulls his arms back, fists sheathed in his golden energy. “Now, let’s go again!”
“Bring it on!” you reply, bracing yourself. And Vegeta doesn’t hesitate, immediately blitzing forward and slamming his fist into your crossed arms.

BOOM

His Ki Fist explodes against your hardened aura, the blast burning into and scorching your own energy. While your Energy Body still holds, this attack did far more to your shield than his bare fists. Yet before you can focus and allow your Energy Body to reform he swings again, fist striking the exact same spot.

“Tch!” you exhale, his energy scorching your forearms through your shields. And once again, before you can focus and recharge your Energy Body, he swings his right again. You see it an instant before his fist strikes, Vegeta already having recharged his Ki Fists. You can’t do anything but brace yourself, his strikes exploding against your guard over and over again.
“HRRRAAAAAA!!!” Vegeta roars, as again his ki fist slams into your guard. This time his strike explodes against your arms, scorching you and burning right through what was left of your Energy Body.

“GAAAAH!!” you cry out, his strike breaking through your defenses and sending you flying. Vegeta seizes his chance and explodes forward, closing the distance and unleashing another ki-clad strike right into your jaw. The explosion blasts you straight down, smashing you down facefirst into the ground. Getting your arms underneath you, you push yourself back upright as Vegeta lands before you.
“Looks like that defense of yours does have limits after all.” he replies, again reactivating his Ki Fists and taking his stance.

Possibly. One idea I had for situations like that is being able to activate our Unmovable Energy Body instantly.
Whether or not keeping the regular version of the technique up as a passive ability would make that possible is up for debate.

“Well, it’s not supposed to last forever.” you reply, retaking your own stance. “And I’m not one to stay blocking forever.”
“We’ll see about that!” he replies, and the two of you both blitz forward right towards each other. “HAAAAAAA!!”
“HRRRRYAAAA!!” you roar, again meeting his fist with your own. Vegeta’s Ki Punch explodes, burning into your Energy Body but not enough to stop your charge. The shield still absorbs enough of his swing’s momentum to allow you to charge forward, driving your punch through his! “RRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

“WHAT?!” he shouts in surprise as you keep charging, Vegeta switching to a Su Ma clockwise spin outside your strike to evade you. But he’s not just running away, Vegeta twisting into a left straight into your jaw. Thanks to your Energy Body, however, you barely feel it. Stopping your strike you again turn it into a devastating elbow strike, but this time Vegeta’s back isn’t to you and he sees it coming. Exhaling he flips his body backwards, narrowly avoiding your blow and surprisingly strikes to again, this time with a right knee to the jaw.

“Tch!” you exhale, as even through your Energy Body you feel that hit. However, he was too slow to pull away, and with your left hand you grab him by the ankle. “Gotcha.”
“SHI-!!” he shouts, you immediately spinning him around overhead by his ankle one, two, three times before slamming him down on the ground. “GYAAAAH!!”
“HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, flipping around and slamming him down again. Over and over you smash him down, but on the fourth impact Vegeta retaliates. You lift him overhead, ready to smash him again, when Vegeta throws his hands together right in your face.

“FINAL FLAAAAAASH!!!” King Vegeta bellows. You bring your right arm up between his hands and your face, just in time to shield your face from his explosive golden wave of energy. His ki flows forth like a torrent, but despite his energy burning right through your Energy Body and scorching you, you hold firm. Your grip on his ankle is like iron, keeping you from getting blasted back away from him. And after more than a dozen seconds of feeling his energy burning against you, his attack finally ends. Lowering your arm, you see the sudden fear in Vegeta’s eyes that you’re not only still standing, but clearly still able to fight. “N-No way!”

“That one hurt.” you say, with a smirk, jerking him by the foot towards you as you twist, slamming your right fist square into his skull while releasing him with your left. “GRRAAAAAAA!!”

Your punch crashes into his face, you slamming him face-first down into the ground with the full power of your arms, hips, and back. Your punch slams him into the ground with so much force that the shockwave kicks you up into the air, blasting you up and away from the young king. Flipping back several times you finally force yourself to a stop, looking down at the aftermath of your attack. Inside the wide crater is another hole, but this one’s headed straight down instead of forming another crater.

“Haaa, haaaa.” you pant, wiping your forehead with the back of your hand only to pull it away surprisingly bloody. “That was one hell of an attack.”
“Dammit. Haaah. I left myself wide open there.” Vegeta says, rising back up out of the hole to float level with you. You see his chest heaving as well, clearly wearing down. But he’s not quite done yet. “Can’t believe you, haah, could take that attack head-on and not fall. I put most of my power into that blast.”
“You should know I won’t go down from a single hit, no matter how powerful it is!” you reply, feigning confidence as you retake your stance. He does as well, arms trembling a bit as he does. Looks like both of you are near your limits.

What do you do?
>Reactivate your Energy Body, and go back on the attack. Power through his hits and force him to defend
>Reactivate your Energy Body and go back on the defense. Try to toughen it up even further so his strikes can’t break through

Also, I had a thought. Stands are immune to 'standard' Ki attacks, right? So, next time we fight an enemy we don't mind potentially killing, I think we should try using DDF on a Ki attack, and see if turning the life energy fired off in the attack on itself blows it up, makes it disappear, or somehow harms the user. Or who knows, maybe it's none of the above. But, if it does turn out to be a good Ki-attack counter, it'd certainly compliment Energy Body well.

Interesting idea you have anon. I curious if it can be done.

Maybe it would be like this:
>Enemy's massive planet destroying Ki ball drops
>Karn uses Divine Dragon Force's attack that turns Ki against the one to who it belongs
>Enemy big Ki ball starts to disappear from the point of contact with DDF.
>Till all of it evaporates kind of as if it got hit by Hakai.

But maybe you can use this to your advantage. Your body seems to be on it’s last legs, but you’re not finished yet. And with your energy left, you can still go for a single, powerful energy attack. Forming an idea you cross your arms, again forming your Energy Body, but this time barely add any energy of your energy into it. Your emerald ki dully shines out around you, Vegeta smirking as he sees it.

“I’m ending this, right now!” he shouts, once more gathering his ki into both fists. “It’s over! HAAAAAA!!”

Once more King Vegeta charges your way, you again bringing your arms up to defend yourself. Again his right fist slams against your crossed arms, the blast ripping your frail Energy Body to shreds and scorching your arms further. Then through the blast, suddenly you see his left foot out of the corner of your eye. Before you can react his spinning kick takes you in the right side of your head, knocking you down on all fours. You would have fallen flat to the ground, but managed to catch yourself just in time.

“HAAAAA!!” Vegeta roars, you seeing his boot headed right towards your face!
“Shit!” you think to yourself, immediately rolling to your left trying to avoid getting kicked right the head. You roll fully over twice, narrowly dodging him as he stomps the ground you’d been on then leap back away.
“No escape!” Vegeta shouts, and much to your surprise catches you by the left ankle this time!
“What!?” you shout, caught by complete surprise. Vegeta doesn’t waste any time, and much as you’d done to him earlier hauls you close by your foot. His left fist, still coated in explosive energy crashes against your jaw and detonates.

KABOOOOOOM

Everything goes dark for a moment after his energy explodes, the next thing you see is Vegeta standing, panting heavily from where he’d sent you flying. Something behind you shatters, and you find yourself falling. But you’re not done yet, orienting yourself to land on your feet.

“N-No way.” Vegeta says, taking an uncertain step back. “I put everything I had left into that attack.”
“So are you telling me you give up?” you ask him, taking a staggering step forward, and then another. You see him stiffen at this, and despite clearly being exhausted stands tall.
“I won’t give up!” he says, and starts sprinting towards you. He rushes in, swinging with a heavy, wild right straight for your head. Then suddenly, you feel it. As he swings your upper body moves entirely on its own, twisting aside and narrowly dodging his strike. “What?!”
“Gotcha!” you shout, regaining control of your body as soon as you have the thought and grab him with a bear hug. You’re ending this fight!
cont
>>
>>4911574
“Dammit, not like th-!” he says, you roaring and unleashing everything you’ve got left.
“HRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

Everything vanishes inside the blast of your energy, you burning through everything you have left. Your arms and legs go numb, and as the blast ends feel yourself dropping Vegeta and falling down to your hands and knees. Your entire body sags with exhaustion arms trembling and struggling to keep your face off the ground. Someone’s calling out, but you simply don’t have the strength to rise or answer. A few seconds later you feel strong, familiar hands grab onto you, turning and seeing your wife’s concerned face.

“Karn, are you okay?” she asks while virtually picking you up off the ground, you giving her a shaky thumb’s up. She’s taller than usual, you realizing that you’re no longer in your transformed state. And looking down, see that King Vegeta’s out cold, also having reverted as well. He’s certainly come a long way from the arrogant, petulant child he used to be.
“I’m fine.” you say, Galick and Nappa coming down into the crater as well. Nappa scoops up the young king in his giant arms, the two looking at you with odd expressions.

“Damn Karn, that was a hell of a fight!” Leyas shouts, your longtime friend and his sister Sarada both dropping down into the crater as well. They both look rather worse for wear, as if they’d been sparring against each other all day.
“I told you that Vegeta wouldn’t win!” Sarada taunts her brother teasingly, “gently” slugging him on the shoulder.
“No way. No offense, but Vegeta was at least twice as strong as you were.” Leyas says.
“C’mon, you really thought I’d lose?” you ask him jokingly as Nappa and Galick fly off, doubtlessly towards the city. “And speak for yourselves, you two look at least as rough as I probably do right now.”
“As if.” Sarada taunts. “We were fighting with Bardock, Vegeta and the others, each other as Golden Oozaru. Or our cooler white Super Saiyan Oozaru forms. But Vegeta was the only one of us who went Primal, thanks to Ubo and Raven’s help.”

“Wait, what?” you ask, surprised. But before you can question it further, another familiar voice shouts down from above.

“Go Triumph!!”

You look up, and seeing Caulifla’s Stand Triumph flying down towards you. It stops by you and your wife, Meloka oblivious to it’s presence as her healing Stand begins shedding it’s tears. You feel the rush of it’s healing flowing through your veins like pouring cool water over your head after an intense workout. As you revel in the sensation of your wounds healing, Caulifla lands down beside her Stand. But she’s holding an unfamiliar weapon in her hands taller than she is, a golden-hafted spear with a rather large crossguard.

“Wow, you an’ Vegeta really went at it, huh?” she asks you, as Triumph finishes healing you and she recalls her Stand. “And here I thought Chaya an’ Broly goin’ at it was gonna be the best fight I saw today.”
“Wait, they were fighting on the ship?” Meloka asks, voice filled with sudden worry.
“No no, we went back outside for that.” she says, no doubt picking up on her mother’s sudden intensity. “They were goin’ at it from just a few minutes before Vegeta transformed, until he and Daddy started fighting.”

She starts talking about the two oldest kids’ match, but despite your injuries being healed you’re still on the brink of exhaustion. You feel your head begin slumping forward despite your best efforts to keep listening, and everything quickly goes dark. Your dreams are, well different. First you find yourself back in a fight with Trunks, Energy Body blazing around you as he charges. Swinging down his sword gets stuck in your left arm’s energy, grabbing his head and smashing it between your hand and knee. Then everything changes, this time you’re facing the boy again but this time you see every one of his attacks twice. Once before it happens, which you react to and are seemingly uncut by his blade phasing through you. And again, which is the actual attack that you’re already dodging. Despite Trunks’ best efforts you aren’t touched by his actual blade. You realize this is what it would look like if one focused on mastering Foresight to the extent Bane had told you of before. As you have this realization you again dodge Trunks’ blow, you reach out and grab his head in both hands, then twist it around. He falls, dropping to his knees then falling flat.

As this Trunks also perishes, the scenery once again changes. This time you find yourself back at Chilli’s wedding, but this time you’re sensing most of the different Patrollers simultaneously . And with a small effort of will, use your Instant Transmission to appear right behind Trunks’ redheaded woman, crimson aura blazing. Yet before she’s even realized you’re there, thrust your left hand’s ki blade through the back of her skull.
cont
>>
>>4911649
“HYOKA!!” Trunks roars, godly crimson aura blazing as he dashes at you. Smirking at him you keep focused on the mortal kis, vanishing again via your Instant Transmission. You teleport from Time Patroller to Time Patroller, either shanking them with a ki blade or allowing Divine Dragon Force to erase them with singular strikes. And within a minute the others are all dead, leaving only a furious Trunks facing you. Once more the scenery shifts, or rather everything goes dark. But Trunks is once again trying to end you, yet despite your blindness you can sense everything. You can feel his presence in the sphere of your aura stretching out dozens of yards around you. Even his sword’s movements you can perceive, allowing you to dodge his unseen attacks with ease. Then before you even kill him, the scenery again shifts. But this time, you’re back to being in the familiar void.

“Well now, what did you think of the show?” Mechikabura asks, you turning in the dark void and seeing the elderly Demon God with a smirk on his face. “I know of what you’re considering, and thought you would enjoy seeing the fruits of such endeavors.”

Well? How do you respond to the Demon God?

I personally prefer the casual, somewhat polite yet cautious stance.

Sidenote though, there was no mention in the IT vision of us putting our hand to our forehead... GD, did Mechi's idea of that passive's shenanigans actually completely circumvent IT's main weakness, as well as giving us so many targets to choose from to begin with? If so, I may end up voting for it over even Energy Body, my old personal favorite.

“I appreciate it, it’ll make my choice easier.” you say, the Demon God smiling and seeming benevolent. But you know he wouldn’t go this far out of his way just for this. There’s more to this. “But why are you really here?”
“Ohh ho?” he replies, grin turning far more sharklike. “Perceptive, as always. I’m not just here to show you the potential of the abilities you’ve already tested. But to also offer you, how do you say, alternatives. You have discovered several different methods of making yourself stronger, and as you saw yourself, methods of making yourself a threat to beings far stronger than yourself. But there are other paths to power, that may be of interest.”

“I wouldn’t say no to having more options.” you say, the Demon God snapping and conjuring a dark orb in his hand. You look in, seeing yourself facing Trunks again. But this is immediately different than the others. This version of you is in your base form, and seems to be effortlessly dodging Trunks’ sword strikes. Then this version of you closes it’s eyes, and keeps dodging the boy’s attacks effortlessly.
“There’s always the technique of the angels. Ultra Instinct.” the demon says. “One of, it not the single greatest fighting technique known across realty. You’ve shown a surprising affinity for this battle style. Few mortals can ever use such a thing, but should you master it no foe would ever land a hit on you again. But that is a long, difficult journey, and not a technique that would be anywhere close to ready before Beerus arrives on your world.”

“Maybe I’ll impress the Destroyer’s angel enough during that fight, that he’ll teach me that technique after I confront him.” you say, shaking your head. “Learning a fighting technique or style is best done under someone knowledgeable in it, I wouldn’t have learned Djem So or Su Ma without my teachers after all.”
“Yes, you have access to quite the repositories of ancient mortal knowledge.” Mechikabura replies sagely. “But most of it is not quite suited to you. You are a warrior, not a scholar. However, being a warrior, perhaps this will interest you?”

Again the orb’s image shifts, you seeing yourself, King Vegeta, and Meloka all confronting the Destroyer God Beerus. You’re in the Berserker 3 form, long emerald hair flowing. And beside you, Meloka is in the Super Saiyan God form, divine aura blazing and in stark contrast to Vegeta’s golden aura . And as one, the three of you rush forward and attack the god. To your surprise the three of you force him onto the defensive, the Destroyer making sure to block your strikes even if it means he takes hits from the others. Which surprises you, is your form really that much stronger than a Super Saiyan God or Primal Saiyan?
cont
>>
>>4911744
“Yes, you see it.” Mechikabura says. “Once you attain control of that power, you shall become a far greater force of destruction. And there’s more than one way to attain it.”
“Wait, there is?” you ask, looking up to Mechikabura’s face. “How?”
“I can transform you.” he answers. “With my divine powers, I can force your body to ascend up into it’s next form immediately. I did so with that mad dog Broly, who fell to his rage. Look and see.”

And once again the orb’s image changes, this time showing Mechikabura confronting a raging Super Saiyan 3 Broly standing atop both the Time Patrol’s Hyoka and Trunks, roaring furiously.

“You could prove useful.” Mechikabura says, and holds out a hand. The rampaging Berserker screams in agony, clutching his head and staggering around in pain. You watch as suddenly his tail grows back, sprouting out as crimson fur begins growing out on his upper body. His hair shifts from emerald back to black, the Berserker stomping down on Trunks’ spine hard enough you hear the shattering bones.
“GRRRRAAAAAAA!!!” Broly roars, and suddenly two other fighters appear. Xeno Goku and Trunks, both already in their Primal forms.
“This could be fun.” the orb’s Mechikabura says, Broly roaring and charging at the smaller Saiyans. They meet his charge head on, clashing in a bright flash.
“So, what do you say?” Mechikabura asks you. “Want to achieve that next level of power right now?”

-has no friends or family
-surrounded by incompetent subordinates
-can't cook for shit
-autistic shitfits for things that don't go her way
-gets shit on by a bird all the time
-is pedobait by choice because otherwise people wouldn't trust her skeezy ass
-takes an apprentice because she's lazy as fuck and wants to shirk her duties

>THE CHAD KARN
-has two wives that are both loved to high heaven and a surprisingly functional family heritages considered
-the beefiest beefcake this side of reality, no shame in his appearance
-trains people knowing that they may never be able to replace him but gives it 100% to try and make it so they can
-a real cool cat who won't fuck with you if you don't fuck with him
-cooks simple, filling, and extremely edible foods
-literally killed one of the most powerful beings in existence without some dumb plot contrivance on his side
-most of his best friends could kick his ass and none of the people around him are chumps

My mans Karn has the weight of his entire species on his back and he goes out of his way to make sure they can survive even without him. He truly is the chaddest of them all.

Don't bother, you won't find anything. The board cycles through dramas that then forgets every few months, we just got unlucky this time.

Half the posts about it in the qtg are deleted so it’s kinda hard to put together what happened, but apparently someone in the Fate Quest who also participates here was starting shit and so some Fatefags got mad and are shitflinging in the qtg. Expect this to blow over in the next couple days.

>You did see Aku recently, when you went down into the ruins before Chilli’s wedding.
True. Putting him on a list under "Long time not seen" was a bit of a stretch. However I did this because while seeing him that day was very nice, he did depart nearly instantly after he appeared.

Aku is immortal, there are very few things that can actually harm him. Yet he was worried as if an unavoidable end of the world was just announced. Then vanished in haste to possibly prepare his anti doomsday shelter. This situation makes me wonder, but Aku did not explain it further, leaving us with questions that we may try to figure out ourselves.

Beside all that it would be nice to see him again.

There is a time before Zamasu decides to make his Zero Mortals Plan happen. When he was still undecided and had doubts. That would be still right now. I know it probably has near zero chance of happening, but if he met some alright mortal(s) maybe he would not decide to make this plan happen. Maybe Caulifa? Could she make him not hate mortals?

>“Want to achieve that next level of power right now?”
Very tempting, but what about the details? It depends on what he exactly offers.

Karn will become Berserker 3 right now, but:
> will he become an uncontrollable raging juggernaut?
>Will we have to roll 90+ rolls not kill family and friends in the next few seconds?
>Will Mechikabura's transformation grant us also the full control over it?
Or at least some degree manageable control where one little missed roll or a mistake will not end up in a disaster where Karn butchers his allies?

>Is this transformation a one-time thing and we will not be able to attain it again easily but struggle like Vegeta with Primal?
>Or will Mechi's transformation grant us ability to transform into Berserker 3 at will?

I'm curious if it will be any different than just doing Super Saiyan God ritual right now which we can literally do at any moment even now. Those details are important I would want to know more about Mechi's offer instead deciding blindly.

I'm not certain how much we can trust Mechi. What if he installs during this some Trojan Horse type of switch that will allow him to disable our Berserker 3 and higher transformations anytime he wants. Some kind of safety precaution against Karn like when he did with DDF to make it unable to erase him.
>>
>>4911973
These are useful, yes, but ultimately what he offers us we WILL achieve on our own, years down the line. He's just fucking with time here. Let's still go for Energy Body

The Anon the Fate dudes are calling a shitposter here, off the false claim of ban evasion and breaking /qst/ rule 2, which was a one day ban for all their claiming I was a rampant shitposter, which you should not apologize for. GD, those claims of my shitposting in QTG was me responding to an Anon about what the quest here was like, including a rundown on what the cliffnotes start was, then me giving a list of crossovers the quest has here. Why the other Anon in question was reported and his half of the conversation deleted, I have no idea, but the single post IDs that popped up after that are proxy sameposts from an Anon in the Fate thread by name of Sakurautist, raging on the quest as I answered questions about it too an Anon. The reason for this autisic hate is because I was calling out this Anon for his rampant samefagging, which I can prove, and his spite towards me for not being a hardcore Fate fan that knows every single thing about the franchise, and not "learning" anything from subpar wikis or not bowing to his superior IQ, to find out information he routinely refuses to divulge unless it benefits in getting support for his votes, or at least other namefags. And his petulant spite towards me, which in context was a writein vote that ended in a dead end for retarded reasons, and other Anons that don't namefag playing the Paradox quest, also me calling him a faggot, which I can prove. The majority of the posts you see listed as deleted, except for the second to bottom one on the list, and the vote I had with that WI-FI address that supported a vote further up as my phone Data was back too functioning and I originally stopped using it to avoid calls of samefagging, not sure why it wasn't blanket deleted to, guess they were just too excited reporting to get it. Starting from the top of that list, me arguing with Sakurautist about him being an insufferable faggot, criticizing the interpretation of "Meta" Quest in the quest just being a way to show off their trivia before dropping the argument to ignore Sakurautist, and then having regular on topic conversations with other posters about the final boss fight, and the dangers she represents to our characters. The last largest chunk of those deleted posts was me starting a conversation with an Anon that was apparently hungry and finding out what he had on hand to look up a recipe to feed himself, and linking some Youtube videos for that purpose, another Anon was as well, which was deleted. The obsession in QTG is because when I first introduced myself as a new player, I shilled the quest here. Once. And then took up a derogatory name of Saiyannigger without namefagging to continue conversations after my write-in winning a vote and reaching a bad end because of it, this alone is why the hate for this quest is here, because that is all he brings up when I try to put in input, or ask questions in quest. I can prove this as well. Recently deleted posts not withstanding.
>>
>>4911837
The reason is an Anon getting assmad. but its even dumber than not liking this quest, its hating it out of spite because I made fun of a psycho who hates it because I tangentially enjoy this quest, whom unironically has autist in his name, and had the gall to not grovel kiss his ass. The shitposting we got here isn't even because of this quest, but pure undiluted autism. On a level that if I didn't claim who I was would go on and call other people that disagree me.
>>
By the way, if my posts randomly disappear, it looks like one of the Fate players taking the side of the autist in question either became a Janitor or a mod, and are currently gloating in the Fate thread. I say this because the psychos in question can and will lurk to report me playing, or even responding in quest threads, as recently demonstrated. However while I was checking other threads I noticed that it wasn't a full post purge like a proper ban, but targeted. Where they knew I was based on calling out Autist. Whom is currently very triggered in QTG, giving out of context "quotes".
>Error: You seem to have mistyped the CAPTCHA. Please try again.
No I didn't you broken piece of shit.

Everything about this is autistic.

Mechikabura simply offering you such might, and proving it on another Legendary Super Saiyan like yourself shows that he means it. But something about his offer feels off. You take a “step”back, or as well as you can judge in this void anyways, and really ponder his proposal. But after only a few seconds of thought, you’ve decided on your answer.

“No. Not like this.” you say, Mechikabura’s face an unreadable mask. “I’ll achieve this power myself, and do it my own way.”
“Are you sure?” the Demon God asks, an odd note to his voice as his face doesn’t change.
“Yeah, I’m sure.” you reply. “Not saying you would try and hurt them, but without knowing where I am I could really hurt my people while mindlessly raging. Plus, something like that doesn’t come for free.”

As you say this, the mask he’d been wearing so calmly begins to fracture and crack. You see the ghost of a smile on his face as you continue speaking.

“Cutting corners on building up your power only leaves yourself weaker.” you continue. “Without mastering the weaker forms, your body isn’t anywhere near as ready to handle stronger ones as it needs to be. So thanks, but no thanks. I’ll achieve that power in my own way, on my terms.”
“And that. Is the correct answer.” Mechikabura says, clapping his hands slowly while his staff remains “standing” where he’d left it before him. “Should you have been foolish enough to accept such a proposition, you would have proven yourself unworthy of being an ally. You would be little more than a tool to wield against Chronoa, and discarded once your usefulness wore off. But you have proven once more to be more than a tool, and I am glad to call you my ally.”

At this he holds out his right hand, you reaching out with yours as well. And instead of taking your t forearm as a fellow Saiyan would, or even your hand in his as most of the universe does, he grabs your hand in both of his own. The seal Towa’d placed on the back of your hand suddenly feels like it’s burning, you wincing at the sensation. But after a moment it’s over, the elder Demon God releasing you with a smirk.

“A little something to get you through what’s coming.” Mechikabura says, as the dark void around you both begins to crack. “Keep your eyes open, Karn. Enemies are everywhere.”

And with that your eyes open. You find yourself back in your own bed, family piled in around you and sleeping as well. Looking at your hand, you see the demonic seal glowing with demonic energy, but it quickly fades after a second or so. Which leaves you with one question:

What now?

As much as you’d enjoy simply laying around surrounded by your family, the words that Mechikabura left you with are still ringing in your head. You aren’t exactly sure what he’d done to the demonic seal Towa’d placed upon you either, but from what he said and implied, you got the impression that he strengthened or improved it somehow. And that there is a threat imminent. No rest for the strongest, when they have people to protect. So you focus, gently grabbing ahold of each of your children with your telekinesis and lift them off of you. While they hang suspended in midair you slip out the bottom of the bed, gently setting them all back down. Looking yourself over you find that you had in fact been undressed and cleaned up after the battle. You don’t remember that, but as exhausted as you were that doesn’t surprise you. King Vegeta has come a long way, and you’re certainly proud of his growth.

“Now, let’s see who’s up.” you think to yourself, quickly getting dressed in one of your training suits and making sure to put the Soulstone inside the inside pocket of your boot before opening your room’s door, and slipping out. The inside of your old ship is quiet, only the small emergency lights on to conserve power while everyone else sleeps. Well, almost everyone. As you stand outside your room’s doors, suddenly the opposite doors open, revealing a small blonde girl.
“Shi-!” she seethes, dropping a bag and leveling her rifle at you, nearly pulling the trigger before realizing it’s just you and lowering it. “Oh, sorry.”
“Morning, Tanya.” you answer, voice just raised above a whisper. “What’re you doing up so early?”
“Up so late.” she corrects, switching her grip on the chainsaw rifle to one hand so she can grab her heavy-sounding bag back in the other. “Today’s been a long day. And I have a feeling it’s about to be longer.”

“Why’s that?” you ask, suddenly a bit worried. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, yet.” she replies. “But the last time we were the only ones awake, we got attacked. And the time before that too. You being awake at unusual hours usually signals that some sort of disaster’s coming.”

And almost as if on cue, suddenly your instincts ping. You’re being watched. The moment you realize this Tanya sighs out, her expression turning more serious.

“What’s the play, General?” she asks in a whisper.

Well?

“Act like nothing’s wrong, and go head out the ship like you’d planned.” you think to her. “Whatever’s here, I have a feeling it’s here for me. So I want you to get out of here.”
“What if this unseen malefactor changes targets to me?” she asks, clearly concerned. “If something’s here to try murdering you, of all people, what the hell chance will I have against it?”
“I’m not wanting you to fight.” you reply telepathically. “But I do want you to stay in telepathic contact with me. That way, if whatever it is does try attacking you, I can use my Instant Transmission to immediately intercept it.”

“Ah yes, I did forget you could do that.” she says telepathically, visibly relaxing. “Very well, I’ll follow your plan. Watch over me.”
“Will do. Keep your eyes open.” you reply, leaning back against your door and folding your arms as she turns and walks down the hall. Focusing your ki sense on the young soldier’s energy, you follow her as she walks down the hall, headed towards the ship’s main entrance. The whole time that feeling of being watched never wavers, and while you sweep your gaze down both sides of the hall, nothing immediately presents itself as a threat. After thirty seconds or so Tanya’s presence has left the ship, the young soldier reaching out again.

“Made it out, nothing seems to be followi-SHIT!!“ Tanya thinks, then her message and mental link to you is suddenly cut off the same instant the feeling of being watched vanishes. Your right hand immediately rises to your forehead, and with your focus already being on Tanya’s ki use your Instant Transmission to appear right by her side. You see Tanya, eyes rolled back in her head and dropping to the ground. Without thinking you reach out and catch her, immediately feeling those watchful eyes on you again.
“Tanya!” you say, the woman blinking then her eyes suddenly open. Except they’re different. Where before her iris’s would be blue, or occasionally golden, now both of her entire eyes, sclera and all are blazing with golden light. The same golden energy blazes from her, the surprising force of it knocking you back. “What the-?”

“YOU!” she shouts, drawing a pistol and firing a burst of energy shots. Not at you, but something behind you. Planting your feet and turning, you see a familiar golden form for a split second before it vanishes, leaving only the Supreme Kai in training: Kars. Well, this can’t be good.

That's on the assumption we don't take the Destroyers Mantle. We probably wouldn't anyways, but I don't see Freeza willingly working under Kars.
>>
>>4912682
>Freeza as the next god of destruction
>not Camali
>>
>>4912691
The universe couldn't handle the terror, he will be like King Cold, and rule from the shadows. Crazy Hassan treads lightly in this timeline.
>>
Tanya's "sixth sense" or whatever it is, is quite impressive. She seems to be the only person beside Karn that picks up somehow when not everything is as normal, even though it may seem like nothing is happening. And again her hunch proved to be correct.
>>
>>4912713
Her ability to sense it is extrodinary, I'm starting to think Being X did a few tweaks to her body before reincarnating, but that should be expected in hindsight given his intentions setting her up in conflicts. Her hunch isn't that extraordinary though, she's been around how long now? It's par for the course at this point, like if their are clouds, then it will probably rain.

>>4912596
Shin is at least SUPPOSED to know all of his subordinates, as they all report to him. And someone stealing divine power would be something they should certainly report.
>>4912607
I’ve only been supplanted twice, by Mechikabura and Carnival Forever Requiem. You don’t possess their power.
>>4912617
Depends on what he says, and how he handles the news.
>>4912670
Good to see. And you will, soon.
Yes, the surprise is still to be seen.
>>4912682
Freeza doesn’t have the anatomy to be a Kai.
>>4912691
Camali’s retired
>>4912713
She does have several years of experience in life or death war like Karn.
>>4912725
Basic pattern recognition is essential for a Japanese salaryman. Karn up early=something wrong
>>
>>4912747
>Shin is at least SUPPOSED to know all of his subordinates, as they all report to him. And someone stealing divine power would be something they should certainly report.
Wait does Shin not even know the guy? Girl? Thing?
>Basic pattern recognition is essential for a Japanese salaryman. Karn up early=something wrong
Common sense, the most dangerous kind for a soldier to have.
>>
>>4912747
Nevermind this>>4912753
>Wait does Shin not even know the guy? Girl? Thing?
I just remember I asked that before.
>>
>>4912747
>I’ve only been supplanted twice
Don't forget Fu.
>>
>>4912753
Yes. Which is why the higher ups, once the PTO took over their world, sent Tanya to Dreadzone. She could cause too much trouble in peacetime.
>>4912966
I said supplanted. Fu just kinda shows up
>>
>>4912983
>Yes. Which is why the higher ups, once the PTO took over their world, sent Tanya to Dreadzone. She could cause too much trouble in peacetime.
>Putting her in arms reach of the most powerful general in the galaxy
>Trying to avoid trouble
That is just rich.
>>
>>4912983
>I said supplanted. Fu just kinda shows up
Speaking of the young Zoomer, did he catch what went down at the wedding?
>>
>>4912986
Where she’ll be dealing with other conflicts, far, far away and not causing domestic trouble. Plus giving their people pride that their soldier is a warrior of galactic renown. Yes, that does sound like avoiding trouble for the Fatherland.
>>4912992
>did he catch
Oh, did he! Fu certainly enjoyed many of those fights, especially Karn Jr’s. He knew your son was special from frame one.
>>
>>4913021
>Fu certainly enjoyed many of those fights, especially Karn Jr’s. He knew your son was special from frame one.
Damn right. Makes me wonder if he's gonna offer him a job in the future.
>>
>>4913021
>Oh, did he! Fu certainly enjoyed many of those fights, especially Karn Jr’s. He knew your son was special from frame one.
Still doesn't sit well with me that guy just lurking in the background with a camera somewhere.
>Where she’ll be dealing with other conflicts, far, far away and not causing domestic trouble.
That's a fair point, the cataclysm that is being near the Karn Clan isn't on their lawn, so it isn't their problem.
>Plus giving their people pride that their soldier is a warrior of galactic renown. Yes, that does sound like avoiding trouble for the Fatherland.
Well she's second place because we don't compete in our daughters hobby shop, but it is a real accomplishment on her part, plus pulling of the bugs genocide. Did they get the livestream of that?
>>
>>4913025
Who knows? Fu has his own aims
>>4913036
Between him, SKoT, Mechikabura, Vox, and who knows what else, Karn is certainly under quite a lot of scrutiny.
Bingo. Send the warmonger off to the other end of the universe to go commit not! war crimes there.
I said of galactic renown, not one of the strongest.
Yes. Made Zettor especially glad they sent her away
>>
>>4913628
>I said of galactic renown, not one of the strongest.
Touché
>Yes. Made Zettor especially glad they sent her away
God I need to see their reaction when Tanya takes moments during the stream to just stare at the camera and smile.

So if Kars is here for Tanya, I'm gonna assume he's gonna go against Shin's wishes and take her under his wing.
After all, he stole his spark of divinity as well.
Also on the topic of everybody's favorite perfect organism, has Kars figured out how to go Super Saiyan yet?
I can't wait until he figures out Rosé. That shit gets nuts

QM UPDATE

Pastebin is once again being fucky and deleting my pastes without any prior notice or ability for me to save them before they go down. Thankfully I found a backup after last time, and am moving EVERYTHING from pastebin to that new site so stay tuned for that.

She’s not strong enough to physically fight even Okira, but she’s tough and powerful enough to potentially challenge Chaya soon.
>reactions
Rerugen’s thoughts: “I knew she was a fucking psycho, thank god we got her the hell off our planet!”
Rerugen: “She seems quite capable of playing to the galactic, bloodthirsty crowds.”
Zettour: “Indeed. Her success and prowess will make the PTO look more to our planet for recruits, we’d better not disappoint.”
Rudersdorf: “Quite. How is the recruitment campaign progressing, Rerugen?”
>>4913642
Who knows? You’ll have to wait and see.
He considers it a gift, since the late Guardian literally blasted him with it.
Potentially.

>Idiots join in for cute girl

>She’s not strong enough to physically fight even Okira, but she’s tough and powerful enough to potentially challenge Chaya soon.
When that happens, I hope she wins, Chaya needs a reality check, and I need to see the higherups react to the fact Tanya beat Chaya. Speaking of, does Chaya's idol performances reach them?

Did the late King Vegeta ever leave behind a journal that his son would find years later?

Can someone check and see if they can see everything? I did password protect everything except the above link, passwords posted in it and report back?
>>4913799
Quite. “She’s fighting, why aren’t YOU?” kinda vibes, showing her next to her squadron for perspective.
It’ll be an astounding fight, as you’re about to get a glimpse of IC next time.
>>4913872
Not that Vegeta knows of, there wasn’t one found in the items taken from Planet Vegeta to New Salda.
>>
>>4914068
>Quite. “She’s fighting, why aren’t YOU?” kinda vibes, showing her next to her squadron for perspective.
The stories her squad would tell, if Tanya wasn't looking forward to breaking the new recruits.
>It’ll be an astounding fight, as you’re about to get a glimpse of IC next time.
Seeing what she'll pull out to win is going to be good. She's a tiny sociopathic version of Karn.

Tanya’s off being a gladiator, she hasn’t actually been “home” herself in years now.
Nah, she’s worse. Karn is vengeful, but Tanya’s maliciously ruthless

Kinda want to see her and her Squadron that was there for the Xeno Purge go home and show off a little.
>Nah, she’s worse. Karn is vengeful, but Tanya’s maliciously ruthless
Yeah, comparing that little ball of violence to Meloka would be more accurate, but Tanya isn't Yandere...unless Being X gets off to being insulted before brain wiping someone that's a little girl.
>Oh thank fuck. Just because it worked for me doesn’t mean it works.
Seems to be holding man, a solution is here. I'll try getting on again in a few days though, just to be sure today wasn't a fluke.

Is Tanya something like goddess or half goddess now? Is Being X less of a god now?

As long as it works and the information gets to you all, that’s all that matters to me.

The proper question would be DID Aqua, as she’s been stuck in the mortal realm with Kazuma. And with her being out of the picture, no one else has been isekai’d since.
>>4914159
Imposters come and go, but none can fool the wary anon.

They all went back home, sans Visha. She’s sticking around as Tanya’s aid again.
Tanya’s yandere for free market capitalism.
Appreciate it. If this works, it’ll be the new main pastebin we use. Also, apparently I’ll get paid .2 cents per visitor per month, once it hits five dollars. Neat.
>>4914166
Not quite. She’s certainly something different than she was before donning the 101, but not in the way Being X had hoped. His plan to force reliance on her through the 95 to the point she’d accept his demands and give in failed.
Interestingly. But he isn’t yet strong enough to remove the Z Sword.

Ha. I do enjoy a well-done SCQ meme.

Wait...no way, no fucking way, did she get Magical Girl powers or something and doesn't know it?

Yes.
Ha!
We’ll see how it works, and if it doesn’t I have another backup on standby. Also, despite paying nearly 2 grand in auto repairs this year, after my vacation soon I’ll be back to starting my very own webpage. It’ll mostly be an archive for the quest, holding the images, episodes, pastes, and epilogues so they can all be more easily found.
>spoiler
Not quite.
Physical strength isn’t high on Kars’ priority list. Mastering divine ki and all he can potentially do, however is.

>>4914280

Broadening your horizons is good and all, but it's only a fool who thinks petty tricks can supplant proper strength when shit gets real.

I'm waiting to hear from my mechanic after his son died myself, an I already paid for the transmission to get replaced. That archive page sounds cool.

Damn, I was hoping for magical genocide girl Tanya.

Ouch, hope he’s doing okay.
And I hope it turns out cool. Had planned on starting it at the start of the year, but that didn’t happen.
>Steals Saiyan genes. Wastes their potential

The man can literally change his anatomy on a whim, physical training is actually less effective than consciously modifying his body to whatever he needs.
