The next moment, you're here. It is dark in more ways than one. There is nothing to be seen, nothing to be heard, nothing to be perceived at all, yet you are here. The sudden emptiness is a shock, but you immediately discover you understand.

You have been pulled from the tedious churn of the world and granted freedom. Your
previous existence has immediately forgotten you and you feel completely at ease in letting it go.

You find yourself before a blank slate of a world. You are the only one here. You are now the sole architect of an existence that is yet to be.

What do you do?

Blank slate? What are we working with. Size? Star type? Moons? Stars? Scan all possibilities, is this a blank world, or a blank universe? Test limits of powers, can we make our world bigger, smaller? Change star class? Etc.

You think to look around and get a bearing on your situation, but realize there there is no movement here. There is nothing to see and no eyelids to close and open upon the world. There is no world.

Memory of the existence you have had until now makes this a strange experience, but, just as strange, you are not in any way unsettled.

You somehow understand that there is no question to be answered here, no dilemma to be solved, no threat to be wary of, no goal that needs be achieved. There is nothing here.

Nothing but you.

Yet you feel there could be something, if only you'd wish it so. What shall there be?

What would you wish there to be?

Hot tub, and a body of our own to sit in it and enjoy it. Doesn't matter what the body is, so long as it can sit in the hot tub, and enjoy the hot water.

A solar system, each world with their own lifeforms and future civilizations. I choose to play god here.

There is nothing until you create something. Then their abyssal eyes light up and you feel the endless holes around you that you thought didn't exist. You can't see them, you can't hear them, but you know they're there. You made a huge mistake with that first push, you lost your slumber and have selfishly awakened everyone else... but now you know that you aren't in control of everything in existence.
