Spotlights sweep over canyon walls and treacherous ridges every once in a while fossilized wrecks and unclaimable juggernauts lay sprawled over its razor hard cliffs. North Fleet and South meet in the middle as planes shoot through the region having dropped munition after munition into a gun bristled fortress.

FleetCommand: Units advise, there are confirmed Clovis mercenaries in the region, as they are not putting out any IFF signals it is reasonable to believe they are Privatized third party interlopers. The alternative is far more dire. Use your best judgement, if they are indeed UCFF then they are bound by international law not to fire upon us and us not fire upon them.

Savannah: But if they aren't then we're leaving ourselves wide open to their shots.

Fleetcommand: Exactly. You have spotlights on your ship, you can choose to hail them using the most basic means if they are in fact maritime abiding.

After the occupying force's surrender, a throng of people flood out of Kolstec and swarm over the still burning ships taking it apart for parts and the occasional human cargo. Seeing this sudden rush of people you fire a warning shot with high calibre rifles making people freeze in their tracks but not causing them to run.

From the group an Elder emerges from the mob and walks forward. You meet them with your interpreter.

Savannah: " These people are scouring the ships for their loved ones, claimed as slaves by old law. They also wish to take apart the ships before the oil fires claim them. ANd I dare say they will likely have better success at it than our tired men. Of course, they are willing to sell them to you afterwards. "

A. Rescue only the people, but the ship parts are ours. [ Organize Roll and one Command Point to salvage whats yours ]

B. Then by law everything now belongs to us, People ,Ship, and this Station. [You recover everything, using the servants as your laborers] [-Reputation goes down]

=The Ironic Part=
Reassembled like a broken vase , the Kolstec Crew broke down the ship faster than the liquid fires below could claim it. Like a magic trick the entirety of the Gunghir was seemingly unmade from one spot and then rebuilt in another like a slow act of teleportation.

Fabricators sizzed in the air making it taste like metal tang and from the corner of our gunner officer's eye they spot the remains of the railgun on the platform. Running to it, we see it for what it is, it's shielding was molded on top of its prong like structure but now its been broken off and exposing it like extruded bone.

A handful of us looked to each other in silent agreement and before others could make sense of it we cordoned off the area and had the lead crewman of kolstec claim that air exposure was causing a ibonyte static to degrade the metal.

Afterwards the fires died down on their own claiming the fuel that needed to burn out in order for the station to remain safe. The rest bonded with water and electron boffers sweeped the air to clean it of impurities. The smell of ozone made the trading floor clinical and calm.

The market was open and we had as much questions as the townspeople had need of our business.
